The cabin was great, the location was great, even the weather was great. Very relaxing, lots to do around the area, hell you can even see stars up in the sky its so dark because you are away from city lights. Very easy check in and out. Best part I did is in the picture below. Thanks for a great week. Barry and Kathie

This is an awesome cozy cabin right on Helton Creek. The kitchen is basic, but nice. There is no stove or oven, just a hot plate and microwave convection oven. We have stayed here before. The only disappointing part, was the lack of fishing, obviously due to the horrible floods.

Relaxing getaway

Cute cabin right on Helton Creek. We enjoyed the hot tub on the porch listening to the water cascade over the rocks in the creek. We spent most of our time outside on the porch or exploring the creek. Really relaxing and peaceful. The owners were very quick to reply to our question regarding the hot tub. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven.

Dream in the Stream

My wife and I were in need of a stress break. We found this listing and decided to give it a shot since we are both outdoors people.We found this to be a wonderful property and the trout fishing was amazing! I will recommend this to friends.

Overall good stay

Location was great, nice and secluded on the river. Unit was clean but I did notice a few dead wasps in the kitchen sink area. When I stayed it was cold overnight (20’s) and regulating the temperature was difficult. There is a propane stove but running it makes the cabin way too hot and turning it off before bed and using the space heater made it very cold at 5AM. The hot tub worked great but it switched to Spanish and locked me out. I looked through directions and couldn’t find a solution. Overall my stay was good.

Loved our stay!

This cabin was exactly as expected, cute and quaint. Perfect for two people. The creek in the back was the best ever. It was so great just to go walk in it. The location was great. We were looking for some seclusion, but we weren’t far from Lansing, West Jefferson or Grayson Highland Park. It was a perfect set up for bringing our dog. The wrap around deck had a gate so we felt completely relaxed, letting our dog wander around on the deck without fear of him getting out. We will definitely come back.

Four Day Getaway

The only complaint I have is there was dog hair on the floor, couch and rugs. The refrigerator wasn't wiped out and clean. The drawer the silverware was in needed cleaning and cabinets needed to be wiped out.

Long weekend

This was our second time staying here. We did enjoy our stay, however this cabin could use a little love. It's not being cleaned well & could use an exterminator to help with bugs. (Not roaches) just typical wooded area bugs. We would consider staying again, as I'm sure the owner is paying someone close to clean & may not be aware of the rush job being done

Enjoyed the creek!

This property is small but was accurately described as so. We loved sitting outside by the fire and listening to the creek! The inside could use some cleaning and sealing of the air conditioning window. We had a lot of stink bugs inside that came in from the ac unit window. We wanted to hear the creek at night but the bathroom window does not open. The heater works great! Microwave and dishes all need to be cleaned. TV could be replaced easily for a nice upgrade, the picture was not great. Outdoor chairs need to be cleaned. Cobwebs and such all over the deck, but for the price it fit our needs. Tons of wood was provided for fire which was very nice. Wifi worked well. We did have a nice time!

Cabin was a little tight for 3 adults & 1 English Bulldog. We made it work though. Everyone absolutely loved the porch area, even our dog loved it, with the sounds of the creek.
