My wife and I stayed here during our Yosemite/Sequoia trip and absolutely loved it! The place was beautiful, lots of small details that all worked together to really make the experience great for us. Really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, listening to the river while we talked. Richard and Jeanie were quick to reach out and communicate. We highly recommend!

A perfect place for two people to stay and enjoy the Sequoias and Kings Canyon. A very well-stocked and updated place. We couldn't enjoy the hot tub because of the hot weather, but maybe next time.

The cabin is exceptionally clean and bright. Lovely view of the river from the living room sofa Perfect size for two people. The outside seating is as comfortable as the inside for evening drinks on the porch.

Nobody ever does that…No detail was too trivial or minor.Labeled everythingAmenities super from fireplace to hot tub to coffee to creamer to upscale toiletries name it and they had it Everything was aesthetically pleasing, everything had a place in the property….They care n it shows If quality matters over price - this is the place for you but for off season it seemed a bit high but perhaps they have 100 pct occupancy- hence price is justifiable. We works stay again in a heartbeat . River was dry- mostly. Water was super low in river due to season/ time of year- the picture on Vrbo was from summer. Not accurate at this time of the season.

Amazing stay, exactly what I was looking for when booking a surprise anniversary trip for my husband and myself (our hosts even left a handwritten card and a bottle of wine for us!). A comfortable and classy stay with a beautiful natural backdrop. We loved playing in the river and lounging on its sandy beach, hiking in Sequoia National Park, and honestly just relaxing in the cabin and on the deck (we enjoyed breakfast there each morning). The kitchen had everything we could need and I could live on the window bench with my book and a cup of coffee. We didn't want to leave. The perfect spot to enjoy nature without compromising creature comforts. Whether you want a weekend away solo or with a friend/partner, this cabin is amazing and the hosts are so gracious and easy to communicate with. We want to go back in the winter for a different experience.

We had an amazing time. We had just missed a winter storm so most of the forest was closed. Which was disappointing but we made the most of it and had a nice time. The rental was amazing. Would def rent again.

Everything was excellent, house, river, surroundings, once all the switches were identified we were in awe of the experience. The house was clean and well stocked, furewood was provided. Just a great place to get away to.

Lovely little cabin on the river. It is the most high-tech rustic cabin we have stayed in and has lots of spices etc in the kitchen, which is well equipped. Richard and Jeannie are awesome hosts and we had a lovely time. Note that it is on the road to Sequoia so there is some road noise, but we did not find it too bad even in August.

Well equipped kitchen, touches of hospitality and comfort everywhere, very clean and a wonderful hot tub at the end of the day. This is an excellent river house! We will return!

Favorite Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed every single day at this cabin! We truly felt like we were alone on an island. The hosts thought of EVERYthing!! We hope to be back one day ❤️
