We very much enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was clean, smelled good, and plenty of supplies. We loved the ocean view and short drive then walk to beach.

Great Location

The cottage was in a great location and was supplied with everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation. The communication from the owner was excellent and we had no issues.

My favorite vacation spot

This was my family’s 3rd time staying and had wonderful trip. The views and property is our favorite. I love to drink my coffee in the morning at the picnic table overlooking the bluff. The beach is amazing too! I never want to leave. It’s our home away from home and we hope to continue having our annual family vacations there.

Our Favorite Vacation Spot

This was our third time staying here and we always have a great time! We take our two small dogs with us and they were also happy to be back. It was quiet at the cottage (except for when the bear tried to get into the garbage at 2am) and we almost had the beach to ourselves. Hope to return soon!

Such a beautiful cottage. Has everything you need. Full kitchen, games, puzzles, outdoor furniture, cozy beds. The view is breathtaking! Highly recommend. We didnt want to leave!

Sweet Cove Cottage

A Cozy Cliffside Retreat with Breathtaking Ocean Views

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! The cozy fireplace was perfect for relaxing evenings, and the spacious hot tub offered stunning ocean views. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the cookware we needed, and the large dining room windows facing the cliffside and beach provided breathtaking scenery throughout our stay. Dan was a very helpful and accommodating host, though I recommend sending check-in details through the VRBO app in the future for ease of communication. I highly recommend this gem for a serene and picturesque getaway!

Cottage on the bluff

Cottage was comfortable, view amazing. Traffic on the road to the campground below awful. Constant traffic right next to the house. Tuesday-Wednesday not to bad. Thursday increased. Friday constant traffic. Disappointed in that I asked about noise from the campground, told not an issue. Was not told about the traffic issue.

My Happy Place

This was my 2nd time here. The ocean is my spiritual happy place. Climate is fabulous and the ocean is what it is. Dan's place is the perfect "homey" spot. I brought my service dog and a friend with me and it had everything we could ask for. Will definitely be back. Love this place.

Amazing 2nd Visit to Sweet Cove

We just finished our 2nd stay at Sweet Cove and it was as equally amazing as the 1st visit last February. The house is well appointed, clean and as pictured. The view is sublime. What is hard to see in the pictures are all the different 'spots' to hang out whether it's inside the house, the hot tub, the yard, beach or bluff. We will be back again!!!

Spectacular Views

If you are looking for an awesome view, great outdoor seating space, a fenced yard for your pups, easy beach access and a hot tub with the same perfect views, this is your place. Just bring your own can opener :-)

Another great vacation!

We have been staying at Dan's cottage since 2018 and this time we got to share it with my best friend and her boyfriend. The weather was quite nice for this visit. We enjoyed time in the hot tub and a delicious bbq meal. The cottage is always clean, the kitchen is fairly well stocked for those who love to cook, and the beds are comfy. As always, Dan was a wonderful, communicative host. We look forward to our next visit!

Stunning location in a cozy house

Very clean, well appointed with views that just can't be depicted in a photograph. With the views, walks on a virtually empty beach, wood burning stove and the hot tub on the deck for stargazing, we have found no better place to unwind. A bit out of the way, which is perfect for us. A beautiful, enjoyable drive about 30 minutes north of Fort Bragg. Make sure to stop at Cowlicks in Fort Bragg for some amazing ice cream!

It takes my breath away every time I look out at the Pacific Ocean surf rolling into the miles of California coast visible from the cottage windows. I would love to share this with you.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Peaceful setting, with incredible views of the interplay of ocean and light from dawn to sunset. Walk for miles at low tide through the pristine Nothern beaches past acres of tidepools. When the surf is up, watch from the bluff top, hot tub or dining room table as the ocean sings its song.
This is a NON SMOKING house.
