Cannot get closer to the ocean. Fantastic sunsets. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of beach equipment (chairs, towels, beach umbrellas etc).

We had an amazing time staying here. Pictures do not do the view justice. Amenities are perfect! Janine even checked on us with the threat of hurricane Nolo. Great location, just down the road from all the shops and beachfront restaurants. Everything you need for an enjoyable stay! We are already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely book at this location again!

The host was fantastic. Excellent communications and the condo was exactly as advertised. Actually it was better provisioned than than advertised. The views and ocean sounds were so relaxing. Though we didn't spend much time there besides aleeping. The property itself was a bit old and rough around the edges. And the condo was kinda of crammed. Could only recommend this for solo travelers or couples. Those are my only "complaints" and they are very minor. For the price, you're not going to find a nicer and more convenient place to stay directly in Kona, with a front and center unobstructed view of the ocean right outside your balcony. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful week staying at the property. The view and sound of the ocean were amazing! We also can’t say enough good things about the host communication. They will go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay.

The host was very quick to respond when I had questions or info to pass along. The balcony is beautiful and perfect to have our morning coffee at while watching the waves. The bed was comfy, the room had a lot of extra blankets, pillows, and towels available! The room just needs some small updates and the curtain railing was rusted which made it rough to open and close the curtains. Overall the views were unbeatable and I would stay again!

Such a great place! We loved being so close the ocean and falling asleep to the waves. The condo was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. No complaints, would definitely stay again!

Here is the deal on Magic Sands property. You cannot beat the location if it’s your first time on the Big Island. Right on the ocean which is what you see once you are settled. That said it’s an older property and it’s got some funk. Our stay in 311 was very good in that the outdoor lanai, top floor made us happy to call it home for our week! The owners are super responsive and have been excellent in helping me retrieve a left item.

Absolutely beautiful beachfront! The location was perfect for us. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, laid back vacation spot. I’m sad to leave it. The waves are quite loud which we enjoyed each evening. Mahalo.

Great room!!! Loved the patio, a hidden gem there! Also loved the fishing poles that are there, we didn’t get to use them but the option was nice!

Our stay was fabulous! The studio was spotless and beautifully decorated with everything we needed to prepare meals in the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee and sunset happy hour on the lanai, overlooking the ocean with the occasional glimpse of dolphins right in front of us. We look forward to returning!

My husband and I are so happy we chose this place. The view from the balcony was amazing. Place was well stocked we did not cook dinner in the kitchenette but enjoyed our coffee on the balcony each morning. Location was perfect we would love to stay here again!
