Detta är ett underbart hem vid havet på den lugna Bald Head Island i North Carolina i den prisbelönta Killegray / Flora Bluff community. Du har direkt tillgång till stranden ner en charmig strandpromenad. Sitt på verandan i din gungstol och titta på delfinerna simma förbi eller sitta på övre däck utanför sovrummet
och har en direkt utsikt över stekpannor som också kallas Cape Fear.

Vårt hem har ett sovrum på första våningen med en privat skärm veranda, eget badrum och en queen size-säng. Befälhavaren är på övervåningen med en king size-säng, eget badrum och privat balkong. Tredje sovrummet på övervåningen har två enkelsängar och privat badrum. Det fjärde sovrummet ligger i ett separat pensionat, som kallas en "crofter" precis utanför huvuddörren. Crofter har en king size-säng och badrum. Det finns också två uppblåsbara madrasser som kan användas för ytterligare sömn. Tillgänglighet för båda privata klubbar på ön, Bald Head Island Club som ger golf privilegier och Shoals Club beachfront beach club.

I garaget hittar du två golfbilar, en sex passagerare och en fyra passagerare. Båda installerade med säkerhetsbälten för din säkerhet och dina barns säkerhet. Du MÅSTE vara en licensierad förare för att driva en golfvagn på Bald Head Island.

Även i garaget hittar du fyra cyklar, en stor hink full med sand- och strandleksaker och solstolar för din användning. North Carolina-lagen kräver att barn under 16 år bär cykelhjälm. Ta med en hjälm till ditt barn.

Alla sängkläder och handdukar tillhandahålls, trådlöst internet med hög hastighet och mer är bara några av funktionerna i detta hem-hemifrån.

Om du aldrig har besökt Bald Head tidigare, finns det en trevlig välfylld mataffär på ön. Livsmedelsbutiken har också ett urval av vin och öl. Sprit är statskontrollerat i North Carolina och säljs på ABC-butiker. Det finns inte en ABC-butik på Bald Head Island.

Family vacation

Our stay at this home was outstanding. The host was extremely responsive and she was available throughout our vacation. The location right on the beach cannot be beat. We had six adults and one infant. The house was well stocked with a pack and play for the infant, board games, baking supplies, etc. we are already planning our next trip back!

Badwater Cape Fear 50 mile run

Great location. Plenty of room to spread out. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of games, books and outdoor play. Wonderful for large families.

Relaxing week on BHI

Our extended family of 7 adults had a wonderful week on BHI. The house has a terrific location just steps from the beach. The rooms were spacious with great views and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Lauren was very responsive and the check in was a breeze. We definitely look forward to returning to BIS BALD.

Great stay

This was our first time in BH over the Winter break and we loved it. Wonderful to be right on South beach. There were a few details in the house that needed attention, but the owners were very attentive and communication was great. Thanks for a great stay in the off season!

Spectacular Holiday Weekend

My husband and I took my mom away for a beach weekend “do-over” after she had a terrible trip with friends a couple months ago. So we had high expectations for making everything perfect and spoiling my mom! This house was ideal in every way for a quiet weekend on BHI. We woke up every morning and headed straight to the beach for a peaceful walk. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. There were also beach chairs, bikes, and two golf carts. Everything about the house was in great condition and exactly as advertised. Lauren was a dream host - super responsive and gave us great tips about the island. We can’t wait to come back!

An oasis in paradise

The location and the house are quintessential BHI - cozy, inviting and "perfect" in a shabby chic way. The best part of the house IMO is the large open kitchen-dining-living area with couches and chairs that eat you up and create the perfect place to unwind with a book and glass of wine after a day trekking around the island. The porches are fabulous for watching the sunrise, sunset and everything in between. Should you decide to go to the beach, just walk right out the back door and you're maybe 100 feet from the sand dunes. Highly recommend coming here to unwind and return to a peaceful bliss, whether with friends, family or even just solo. It's truly a wonderful beachy oasis. Bis Bald!

Beautiful!

This was our fourth visit to BHI. We will definitely be back and hope to stay at Bis Bald again. The property was clean and as described; in a great location at beach access 30 with plenty of bedrooms and common space to share. The booking and check-in processes were a breeze. The owner was awesome; very helpful and responsive to all of our questions. Thank you for a great stay!

Great Place to Gather!

Party of eight, accommodated us well! Spacious with individual bathrooms for each bedroom. Loved the spacious open concept. Well stocked kitchen. The location is perfection!!! Owner and managers were very responsive!! We will come back!!

We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful vacation on Bald Head Island. The house and beach were perfect! We have been coming to the island for over 30 years and this was one of the best stocked houses. Amy has thought of everything. The kitchen has plenty of glasses, dishes, serving platters etc. Rooms were comfortable. There were a number of high quality beach chairs with lots of beach toys for our kids in the garage. The house is a quick walk over the dune to a beautiful wide part of South beach. Overall a great trip and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend this house!

Great week on Bald Head island

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house served us well. Very functional kitchen. We found all the cookware and utensils we needed and the configuration could handle multiple people using it at once. The dining table was just big enough for 7 adults, two school age children, and a new-to-solid food infant in the provided high chair. Spacious living area and deck got a lot of use throughout the day/night. Access to the excellent beach was easy just over the nearby dunes. Great for walking, running, and lounging, depending on the tide. All in all, would highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.

Time to Unwynd 5-13 to 5-20/2023

Great trip!! House was as advertised on VRBO. Amy was great and checked in on us a few times to make sure all was well. Easy check in and check out. Very comfortable furniture in family room and the king bed in the master was very comfortable. Plenty of chairs for the beach too. My wife and I brought our 4 adult kids (24-29) and they loved the place. We will be back again soon and it will be at Tyme to Unwynd.

Good Location

Nice short walk to the beach from the back porch. You cannot see the beach from the back porch, only the top master bedroom. Golf carts were in good shape. All beds need to be upgraded, none of our adult family members slept well. Good layout and space. Would stay again if the beds were changed and the price was more comparable to a home without a view.

Time to Unwynd - Perfect Beach Vacation

Time to Unwynd was a fantastic house with an unbelievable location. We had everything at the house, and if we needed some help Amy responded immediately and we were taken care of. Could not say enough about how amazing the house and trip was. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you Amy! Only wish we could have stayed longer, but hope to be back soon.

Success!

My wife and I had the opportunity to take our family to Bald Head Island this year. The house we chose was a first for us, Time To Unwynd @ Flora’s Bluff. Everything stated in description was spot on. House was clean and appointed well. Simply put, it was like being at home! Amy was available during our stay for any questions by cell or email. This address will be remembered for the future. Amy thank you for helping our family to experience BHI as we wanted.

In real life, we keep ourselves busy with work, school, baseball, soccer, golf, chess, and daily life. Being active keeps us all out of trouble!
