Huckleberry stuga på Carnelian Bay

Huckleberry Cabin är perfekt för en familjesemester eller en grupp av vänner. Strategiskt beläget i Carnelian Bay, är det lätt att utforska banorna i närheten, besök med lokalbefolkningen, slå i backen eller stranden, eller bara sitta på däck och njuta av den otroliga panoramautsikt över Lake Tahoe!

VARDAGSRUM. Från det ögonblick du öppnar dörren du vet att du är i Tahoe, när du kliver in i vardagsrummet med ursprungliga stenhäll golv, stor öppen spis med en sten och trä härd, och fantastisk panoramautsikt över sjön. Rummet är möblerat med en stor L-formad soffa och två bekväma stolar och ett stort soffbord som ligger framför den vackra vedeldade spisen (vanlig värme också) och en stor TV (kabel medföljer) över spisen.
Matplats och kök. Nyligen ombyggda, I matsalen finns ett bord med plats för 6-8 och en ö Counter med barstolar för 4-6. Köket ligger i direkt anslutning och helt lager med alla nödvändigheter, köket har en stor rostfri diskbänk, granit bänkskivor och ett nytt kylskåp och gas spis / ugn. Den utökade motverka ön gör matlagningen lätt. Windows hela dessa områden gör det extra luftig och ljus, inklusive ett stort fönster med mer vacker utsikt över sjön.

DÄCK. En glasdörr öppnas mot den STORA DECKEN, där du hittar en solig plats för kaffe på morgonen, ett uteplatsbord med stolar och paraply, adirondack-stolar och en gas-BBQ-grill och en otrolig utsikt över sjön.

Sovrum. Stugan erbjuder två sovrum på övervåningen ... både möblerade med en drottning säng och en tvilling med en rulla säng. Det finns ett gemensamt badrum med badkar / dusch kombination. Trägolv i hela sovrummen. Vakna upp varje morgon ser ut fönstren till de panoramautsikt över sjön.

Badrum: Hemmet erbjuder två badrum; en på huvudnivån (duschkabin) och en på den andra nivån (dusch / badkar).

LOKAL KONTAKT: Mycket unika jämfört med de flesta stuguthyrning .... vår Vaktmästare / Hus Cleaner hanterar endast ett litet antal utvalda egenskaper för att ge en-mot-en personlig service från förfrågan till 'se dig snart igen "och liv bara några minuter ... praktiskt om du behöver något medan du är här.

The Huckleberry Cabin ligger på sluttningen strax ovanför sjön i Carnelian Bay (mellan Tahoe City och Kings Beach) och är i en vacker stadsdel bara några minuter från allt som Lake Tahoe har att erbjuda ... stränder, golf, vandring och cykling på sommaren ... världsklass skidorter (Squaw Valley, Alpine, Northstar, Homewood, Diamond Peak, Mt. Rose), Cross Country skidspår, pulka kullar, snöskor på vintern ... och bra restauranger, affärer och kasinon året runt. Området har exklusiv tillgång till några av de största vandring / cykling / XC / snöskor spår av North Lake Tahoe.

Amazing views!

Comfy cabin with massive deck overlooking Lake Tahoe. We drove around the lake, but so glad we had this beautiful cabin to come back to. Hosts were very responsive to our needs.

Superior Cabin with Incredible Views

What a fantastic place to stay. Charming, clean and well supplied. The views are phenomenal. Everything is well thought out and it was an amazing stay for our family. I will certainly book this cabin again if it is available!

The View!!

This is a charming cabin in a gorgeous neighborhood. And the view is spectacular! If you enjoy old Tahoe, as in stone fireplace, stone floor, cozy furniture, and long history of family memories, this is the place to stay! This family-owned cabin has been lovingly cared for, and you can feel the warm memories from the moment you walk in. My husband and I would definitely come back!

Cozy cabin with AMAZING views!

We stayed in this wonderful, cozy cabin for 5 days while visiting Lake Tahoe. It was PERFECT for our family of 4. The panoramic views of Lake Tahoe gave us beautiful sunrises and colorful sunsets. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we might need while traveling away from home. It was in Carnelian Bay, so we had easy access to Kings Beach and Tahoe City as well. The hosts were great and very helpful. This is truly a hidden gem in Tahoe.

Only good thing is the amazing view. Cabin itself is very dated. Furniture is very old and dusty. If you have any type of allergies, this place will effect them.

Great Place to Stay

This place checks all the boxes. Well stocked, great view, comfortable seating and very cozy. I'll go back again if I can be assured by the host that there is a repair person listed in his "binder"; there were a few problems and he was out of the country.

Clean, tranquil - but beware of the driveway and steps

Lovely little spot with a pretty view. Clean and well maintained. I would alert anyone wanting to stay during the winter months to PARK UP TOP, Do not drive down the driveway! We had the good judgment to avoid the steep, icy driveway down to the house only to read those exact instructions later while reading the binder inside. A little too late to put that in the binder and not any online check-in instructions. The road to the house wasn’t plowed and the road from the highway is steep and could be scary in bad conditions. We were fortunate to have a AWD and clear weather. That said, the steps to the house were all ice and unnerving to navigate without even a shovel available to break it up. Also, recommend turning the heat off at night as the electric room heaters overheat the space no matter how low you try to turn the knob. Otherwise, a lovely house and we appreciated how clean and cozy it was, and we felt like it was good value for the price.

Views for the win!

The views of the lake were beautiful all day! We spent a lot of time after our active days on the large deck….which was perfect in the nice and quiet neighborhood. The cozy/rustic house was spacious for our family of four (two teens) and had everything we needed….kitchen well stocked, plenty of linens, etc. Our host, Amy, was very responsive and helpful with questions about both the house and area.

Great cabin with even better views!

My family of four stayed at this cabin over Christmas for five days. What a great place! The cabin was super cozy, has amazing views, and the host has fully equipped the cabin with all of the essentials, including firewood. My only complaint would be accessing the parking space and steps to down to the cabin are very icy. Definitely be cautious if you’re staying during the winter. Otherwise it’s a home run.

Conveniently located, comfortable with pretty partial view of the lake. Well supplied but could use a good cleaning. Closets were messy, personal items, from previous guests, I guess, were left in several drawers, including the upstairs bathroom. We all wished the large window in the living room, with a gorgeous partial view of the lake had a roll-up screen for a better view. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Breathtaking

This house was nothing short of amazing from the huge update kitchen to the cozy but spacious bedrooms and the stone floored living rooms. Don’t even get me started about that view! Everything was breathtaking for our first time in Lake Tahoe. We got married on our stay and the cabin was the perfect place to unwind after a couple of long and crazy days. A delightful home with a fabulous lake view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Uncle Gil's rustic cabin. It was nicely appointed, a well equipped kitchen and suited our style. It had a real cozy feel as a home instead of a typical modern rental house. The view of the lake is unforgettable any time of the day and particularly under the full moon. The owners were very helpful. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely return.

Winter trip

Overall, the experience was good. However, when we arrived, the driveway leading to the house was covered in ice, with ice on the stairs leading to the house as well. We reached out to the property manager to inform them of this. We received the following response: There is ice melt in the shed. When you put the ice melt down, let it sit for a couple of hours and then shovel it. Please do not use salt on the stairs--it destroys them. This was a little surprising, since we did not think that responsibility should be with the guests.

Cozy lake home with great view

Wonderful Tahoe Vacation

The property was awesome. Kitchen had everything we needed. Furniture and beds were comfy. This cabin overall was very cozy and safe. The views from this cabin are absolutely spectacular. Every morning we got to drink our coffee looking out at the Lake and Mountains. That was what I wanted.

Charming with beautiful views!

Absolutely charming cottage with gorgeous views and fantastic location close to Tahoe City. The hosts were super responsive with a couple of issues and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The house is well stocked and the beds quite comfy. Morning coffee and evening cocktails an absolute must on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake! This is a special place!!

Beautiful Views!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is spacious, clean, and had amazing views from the deck, living room, and kitchen. The location is close to hiking trails. We would stay again!

This old Tahoe cabin was a joy to rent!The view was absolutely beautiful.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks. Easy chairs in living room need to be cleaned, replaced or reupholstered. One of the green plastic chairs on deck was broken. Needs to be removed! Dangerous if someone sits in it! Lockbox containing key to cabin is very difficult to open. We had to call owner & he helped us obtain key from storage shed. Over all would recommend this property to anyone.

Nothing short of Wonderful

Perfect place for winter at Lake Tahoe. It was our first visit to the area and we had a great time. Upstairs bedrooms were roomy and cozy for sleeping at night. We spent the days exploring and nights playing cribbage by the fire. Enjoyed the old photos of Lake Tahoe and the home that were displayed around the house. Owner was great to work with and let us in early. We would highly recommend the property for any season in Tahoe. Thanks for having us and I hope surgery recovery is going well. The Heimbachs.
