We had a fantastic time! Property was exactly as shown and very clean upon arrival. Only downside is that when we booked, VRBO shows the location of the property on a completely different area of the map, so we were not expecting to be so far from the beach. BUT, having the golf cart included in the rental ended up making the distance from the beach not an issue! Would highly recommend this property and we would definitely stay here again! There was plenty of room for all of us and the outdoor shower was a huge plus!!! The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and were very accommodating.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re so glad you had a fantastic stay and that the house was exactly what you expected. We truly appreciate you mentioning the location issue on the VRBO map. Unfortunately, the map pin isn’t always as accurate as we’d like, but we’re happy to hear the included golf cart made getting to and from the beach easy and enjoyable. It’s great to know you had plenty of room, enjoyed the outdoor shower, and found the home clean and comfortable. We also appreciate your kind words about our communication—we always want our guests to feel well taken care of. Thank you again for choosing our beach house. We’d love to welcome you back for another stay! Safe travels until then!

LOVED THIS PLACE

Normally stay in a condo at the beach, but we loved Ocean Lakes -- something to do for all ages (especially kids) and you don't have to go off the property (you can even walk to Walmart to buy what you need)). The McCoy's property was GREAT, exceptionally clean, well equipped. We loved sitting on the back deck relaxing (even has a shade tree if you prefer to sit in the shade.) We had no problems what-so-ever. We will definitely plan to go back again. The McCoys are so accommodating and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need.

Great Family Vacation Home

The property itself was extremely clean, located in a great area, and felt like home. The decor was great and storage was utilized very effectively. Everything was labeled, so there were no questions about anything. We really enjoyed the golf cart rides at night. The property owners Dale and Robin are both awesome people. I felt like I had known them forever and could talk to them with ease. They were quick to respond to questions I had. The texts messages I received the day we were to arrive and the day we departed were really touching. They wished us safe travels and hoped we had a good trip. To some this may not mean much but to me it meant a lot. As hosts of the property I feel they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. I started out as a first time renter but now I look forward to repeat visits as long as they will welcome us to their property.

Malinda, thank you for your review. We are so happy you chose us for your beach vacation. I appreciate you pointing out that the area we are in is a quiet area. It is also not on a busy street of the resort property. It is nice that our property backs up to the creek and the houses on our right and left are single family houses NOT on stilts. Please contact us next year if you decide to go back to Ocean Lakes!

Fabulous vacation

I cannot say enough about this property. My family had been visiting ocean lakes for the past 20 years. This rental property was clean and inviting. Coffee is a must and the provided drip coffee pot along with the keurig covered all the bases! The black stone griddle was perfect when preparing food for a crowd! My husband is now ordering one for our home! The owners were amazing! The golf cart was so much fun!

Kate, we are so happy you found everything you needed and most importantly, the beds were comfortable. We pay close attention to this because if you sleep well, you tend to feel better. While you are on vacation, you definitely want to get your rest! We love the outdoor shower, especially when you have children. It has hot and cold water so is perfect to either rinse off or take your shower since it is a private outdoor shower. Thanks for the review!

Memorial Day Weekend

This is the nicest camper with addition rental that we’ve seen. The owners have done a great job renovating to make this place feel like home. It’s beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook up several meals. Our kids enjoyed feeding ducks and turtles from the back deck that overlooks a stream. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing time at this property in Ocean Lakes! The house was absolutely perfect for me, my sister, and my young niece and nephew. We had plenty of room and the house had everything we needed. The McCoys were amazing to work with and made sure our stay was perfect. The golf cart was an added bonus and made trips to the beach or the pool quick and easy. The location of the house is great, it’s in a quiet area of the campground but only a few minutes golf cart ride away from all the action. We will definitely be staying again!
