Denna bekväma och tysta lägenhet ligger i en stenbyggnad i ett mycket familjeorienterat område. Området ligger nära Montparnasse, inte långt från Luxemburg-trädgården och helgonet Germain (2 tunnelbanestationer).
Man kan hitta slakterier, fiskbutik, vinhandlare, bageri, ostbutik ... allt som behövs för att förbereda trevliga hemlagade måltider i närheten!

Denna 65m² lägenhet är inrättad för 2 par eller en familj på 4. Det är på tredje våningen (ingen hiss) i en stenbyggnad och är mycket lugn som det ger på två privata gårdar.

Den apt entrédörren ger på en korridor med kök och matplats till vänster. Vardagsrummet och sovrummet ligger till höger. Alla områden är täckta med en fin trägolv utom det keramiska kaklat kök och badrum. Det finns fönster på båda sidor, aptet är väldigt ljust.

• Vardagsrummet har en lounge och är möblerad med en bekväm soffa och fåtöljer. Den badar i naturligt ljus och har en öppen spis (ej för användning). För natten kan vardagsrummet omvandlas till ett andra sovrum. Soffan öppnar sig i en bekväm säng för två. Som man ser på bilderna kan dörren till vardagsrummet stängas, vilket ger fullständig integritet.

• Det stora sovrummet har en bekväm dubbelsäng, ett skrivbord och stol och en garderob.

• Köket finns i ett separat rum som öppnar in i matsalen. köket är fullt utrustat med moderna apparater och det erbjuder ett fönster som ger naturligt ljus. Matsalen har ett träbord och rymmer enkelt 4 personer.

• Fönstren i lägenheten har utsikt över en privat innergård och ger naturligt ljus. Trägolv ger de rymliga och mysiga sovrummen en varm känsla.

• Trots att det inte är brett erbjuder badrummet dusch och handfat. Toaletter är separata (men inuti apt).

Platsen är mycket bra med transport vilket gör det mycket praktiskt att upptäcka staden.

Som en bonus är telefonsamtal till landlinjer i Frankrike och till USA, Kanada och Australien generellt sett gratis. Det är också sant för mer än 50 länder. Our Second Stay

Wonderful location--a local vibe, great restaurants (esp. L'Empreinte and La Vie d'Ange), cheese and wine shops nearby, Metro very close. And the apartment is quiet! The nearly 70 steps could be an issue for some (and us as we get older) and the decor could do with a little sprucing up. But all in all, a good place to stay in Paris. We will return.

Comfortable funky apartment. Would love to stay again.

The apartment is a fun and comfortable. Busy thriving neighborhood and super convenient to subway which is important in Paris. The stairs were steep as reported many times, but wouldn't let them be a deterrent to staying here.

Comfy, convenient - perfect Paris experience

Our family of 4 stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the comfortable beds, well-supplied kitchen, ease of access and great location (across the street from Catacombs of Paris, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, metro station on the doorstep, train direct to/from airport) Excellent communication from hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay

Had a great stay, the apartment was actually larger than it seems in the listing - there is a big room attached to the kitchen and also a living/TV room that we used as a second bedroom with the pullout. Loved the area, its right in the middle of 'Parisian life' without being overly touristed. Quiet, due to being right off a courtyard, not right on the street. Communications with rental office very good and responsive. We stayed for two weeks. Be aware that there are three flights of steps that are pretty steep.

I recently stayed at this lovely apartment with my two friends. The location is absolutely wonderful! The district has so many restaurants, bakeries, and a grocery store right across the street! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to return again (hopefully soon) on our next visit to Paris!

Great for our long weekend visit

We were met at the apartment by a host who showed us all the important features and answered any questions we had. This apartment was just the right size for 2 adults and two teenagers. Conveniently located near a Metro stop, restaurants and grocery store. Important to know there are more than 50 steps to the third floor and no elevator. The building was quiet which we liked. The hardwood floors can be squeaky and we felt like we had to walk lightly in hopes of not disturbing downstairs residents.

We will come back!

If you want a quiet, safe, clean and roomy apartment in a wonderful area of Paris, stay here. The rooms are spacious and bright and the kitchen well-stocked and functional. We were there during a heatwave (temps in the 90s) but 2 large vertical fans kept us comfortable. We fell in love with the 14th Arrondissemnt. Good restaurants and food shops on the rue Daguerre immediately across from the apartment. Highly recommend Restaurant L'Empreinte a block away. We will stay here again!

Perfect location to explore Paris

This property was perfect for three adults. It is very near a Metro stop which made it easy to navigate Paris and see many things. There is a grocery market across the street as well as many fresh produce, cheese, meat, seafood and bread/pastry shops very close. The property is a third floor walk up. It is well furnished and comfortable. The property manager was very easy to get in touch with. Yves met us at check in to explain things and show us around. We were very happy with our stay at this property.

Convenient apartment in the 14th

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment--it is very well located next to all the necessities (metro, groceries, boulangerie, etc.) and in a quieter neighbourhood so we could get away from the crowds. It was quiet and just big enough for our family of four. The kitchen was a bit less equipped than you would need to really cook (no sharp knife, for example), and the apartment has a bit less light than the photos suggest, but truly overall we had a great stay and really appreciated the location and the surrounding neighbourhood--great parks, playground, restaurants, etc.

Perfect location

Very cute and quiiet apartment in a prrfect loacation. The apartment is decorated tastrfully in French style, clean, spacious and fully supplied for our family of 3., it's just a few steps from the metro, the Catacomb and near Jardin du Luxembourg. There are lots of restaurants, bakeries and cafés nearby and across the street. We throughly enjoyed walking the neighborhoods around the aprtment,, found our perfect croissant at a family bakery right around the corner, sat at the cute little café across the street Terres de Cafe to start our day every morning, if you'd like staying in a less trousty area this is it. Communication with the host and their reps was prompt and easy. Tyes, there are a lot of stairs to go up the apartment but we had no problem with that. We will stay again if we come back to Paris.

Great place in an awesome location!

The apartment is located in a charming Parisian building. It is a large comfortable space with a modern kitchen. We are a family of four and stayed comfortable for six weeks. The apartment has plenty of light with its many windows. The windows open to two private courtyards, so the apartment is very quiet in that regard. Although, the floors are creaky old wooden floors. As others have stated, the neighborhood is perfect and has everything at your doorstep. We appreciated the comfort and convenience of this spectacular apartment! Thank you!

4 nights in Paris

My wife and 2 teenage daughters and I spent 4 lovely nights in this Paris flat to celebrate the older’s high school graduation. So many positives, including charm, location, convenience and value. This is exactly what you envision when you think of Paris apartments. The only drawbacks were the 3 flights of stairs with no lift and a very petite shower. I would highly recommend this flat a few miles removed from the hustle and bustle but still in a great location, including grocery store, French bakeries, restaurants and other shops just outside your doorway. An added bonus was it felt very secure with 2 security doors and a courtyard between HBO street and entry.

Great space, great location!

We enjoyed the large amount of space and the ability to have a door to close to the convertible couch/bed room. Lots of space to gather to eat or, in our case, to play cards. Having a washing machine was much appreciated. The shower was a bit small—but it is an old building in Paris. The cross breeze and fans kept us cool. There was a mold issue on the ceiling in the bathroom. So if you are sensitive to that, you should avoid the apartment. Also, there is no elevator and a spiral staircase. We dreaded going up at the end of each day. But the location made up for it! Located steps from the Denfert metro stop. We would stay there again!

Bright and spacious apartment in a great neighborhood

I stayed in the Rue Daguerre apartment for a month and couldn't have picked a better spot. The apartment itself is bright and spacious--much larger than I expected from a Paris apartment. The kitchen is quite new, the beds are extremely comfortable, the building itself is quiet and secure. To be frank, I never wanted to leave! The neighborhood is a hidden gem (hidden at least from tourists). I adored shopping in the open-air market along the pedestrian-only portion of Rue Daguerre, but was also happy to have the Monoprix grocery store conveniently located right across the street. And if the neighborhood shopping options aren't enough, Denfert-Rochereau is well connected to the rest of the city by metro. I would recommend the apartment to anyone and will be trying to stay there again next time I'm in Paris!

Wonderful, large apartment in a great neighbourhood

Our 3-generation family of four loved this quiet, comfortable apartment and its location. We were across the street from the grocery store and a pedestrian street of specialty shops (fruit & veg, fish, butcher, bakeries + restaurants), and the metro is 10 seconds from the front door. The apartment itself is across an inner courtyard from the main street, so it was calm and quiet. We slept well in the beds and cooked dinner every night in the kitchen; the shower is hot and the towels were plentiful. There's a collection of guidebooks to Paris, reliable wifi, and wonderful art in every room. All communication with the property manager was prompt and clear, and a really kind woman met us when we arrived and explained everything in the apartment. We just loved this apartment, and we'd love to come back again one day. Many thanks to the owner and the managers!

A lovely apartment in Montparnasse

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. It was spacious and generally well equipped. The sofa bed was fine for one adult, it may be rather small for two. The apartment is in a very pleasant neighbourhood, with lots of shops and restaurants, and it is in walking distance of central Paris -it is also very close to a Metro station with more than one line and an RER station, so has easy access to all of Paris. Despite its location near many shops and restaurants we found the apartment to be very quiet. We were in Paris during a heatwave but kept cool by opening windows on both sides of the apartment, closing the shutters and using the fans supplied. The kitchen is well equipped but was lacking in cutlery -there were only 4 knives for eating which meant we had to keep washing them up by hand. Some of the cutlery was also rather corroded -a new, dishwasher-safe, stainless steel set, with a lot more knives, is needed. We found the agency to be rather inflexible about arrival times -we had to change our travel arrangements to avoid being charged 60 Euro for arriving after 8pm. Overall, a great place to stay in to visit Paris.

If Starving Artist Garret Is Your Thing…

First the good: lots of art and books with good flea market antiques; very easy to get to from CDG train; great communication; clean linens and good towels; clean appliances and clean furnishings. As others said, great market street and grocery very close. The bad: they mention the stairs but it’s 3 floors of a very narrow spiral staircase, with steps more narrow than a foot or a suitcase; the floors and doorknobs are very old and unbelievably noisy - no way you can not wake others if you walk anywhere in the apartment; the shower is about 28 inches square of which 6 inches is taken by the shower controls; and the baseboard woodwork and doors are chipped and crusted with probably centuries of dirt. They clearly are trying to discourage cooking - pots and pans are filthy and no cooking knives - I cut a sausage with my pen knife. Nowhere to hang dresses - closet is 2 shelves with bars. I’ve stayed in maybe 10 apartments and this was by far the worst. I can’t explain all the 10 star reviews. The floor alone would have merited 3 stars from me. They send a letter after you book telling you to be “Parisian” meaning “quiet” but with those floors even without shoes there’s no way to be quiet.

An airy, spacious and comfortable apartment, in a fantastic location. Highly recommend.

We loved staying in this apartment. My children and I spent five weeks there in July and August. A few points: 1) the amount of space was perfect for the three of us and the flat is very well equipped and comfortable. Has everything you will need. The dining room gives it more space than you think you will have in a one bedroom flat. 2) it is very quiet. It was unusually hot the entire time we were in Paris and, although located on a busy street, we heard nothing, even with all of the windows open. The sound of celebration of winning the World Cup made it to us, but only just. It was a quiet oasis. 3) cross ventilation and fans were very helpful on hot summer nights. We were very comfortable. 4) the location is brilliant. Great neighbourhood, rue Daguerre is fantastic, supermarket right downstairs and the metro too. The metro has three separate lines running through it, so you can get anywhere in the city with ease. My children explored the entire city with their Navigo cards. The RER from Charles de Gaulle goes straight to the apartment, making it super convenient for getting in, as long as you don’t have too much luggage. 5) both the Jardin du Luxembourg and Parc Montsouris were within easy walking distance. Great for running and summer picnics! We absolutely adored the apartment! Would happily return.

Großes Apartment in bester Lage

Sehr zentral gelegen, Metro und RER praktisch vor der Haustür. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten incl. Supermarkt auf der anderen Straßenseite. Cafes und Restaurants mit sehr guten Öffnungszeiten ebenfalls nebenan. Das Apartment selbst ist sehr geräumig. Zwei Zimmer kann man als Schlafzimmer nutzen und hat immer noch eine große Wohnküche. Die Treppen waren für uns überhaupt kein Problem. Der Holzfussboden knarrt häufiger. Wir haben aber nur den Bewohner der oberen Wohnung gehört. Wir kommen schon bald wieder.

Schöne Wohnung in guter Lage

Die Wohnung im Hinterhaus ist trotz der verkehrsgünstigen Lage zu allen Tageszeiten sehr ruhig, praktisch eingerichtet und abseits der touristischen Hotspots insgesamt ein angenehmer Rückzugsort und Ausgangspunkt für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt in Paris. Zum Essen kaufen und Essen machen praktisch: Rue Daguerre gegenüber.

It is the main residence of the owner. He rents when going to his secondary residence. For a guest, renting a main residence is a warranty of high quality : it is always maintained at top level. Obvioulsy, the owner puts away personal belonging. There is more than enough space available for guests.

We answer to each request and send a detailed quote & contract on each request. We believe the instant quote given on the site is not precise enough for a guest to book an apt.

We react fast, be it by mail (often in the hour, max 24h, we have evening shift), Immediatly by phone. Note we do not take booking on the phone nor discuss prices or availability, risk of mistake is too high. E-mail is much more secure & precise. We nevertheless are happy to answer specific questions.

During your stay, we are always available. We can advise you on how to use the apt. We run a night emergency line, for real emergencies :-). When problem arise, we do our best to solve them, quickly.

We want our guest to have the best memories of their stay. We have a high rate of returning guests : it seems they do.
