The three floors of the house made it possible for the adults to stay up while the toddler slept, and we appreciated that it was dog friendly!

Views for days!

This place is perfect for our situation. The house is clean. The problem is for the check-in and checkout were super easy. The property manager did a great job, it was great communication was greatly appreciated, I would recommend staying here any day of the week.

The house is beautiful and had good separation of space, a small yard perfect for the dog (just wish it had a fenced area). The beds were a bit firm but not terrible, the kitchen had everything we needed. Overall we were super happy and would love to stay again!

Fabulous view of Netarts Spit. Comfortable surroundings, quiet location, convenient drive to Oceanside, Cape Meares, Cape Lookout and Tillamook. Enjoyed Upstairs Bar & Grill along with The Schooner Restaurant.

Great view!

This property offered a wonderful view to drink coffee on the deck every morning. Living areas were spacious. Easy to get to beaches and surrounding area.

Such a great place!

I want to thank Sarah, the property manager, and Ruth and her cleaning crew for managing to turn over this rental in time for our arrival. We arrived between two snow storms and it was an endeavor for them to get up the hill to reach the house...but they managed (after two tries) and provided us a clean property as promised. The property was amazing...so well equipped, with a gorgeous view and lovely amenities. Thank you for such a great visit!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While not directly on a beach or with direct beach access, this is an excellent house for a couple or a large family gathering. Plenty of space, well appointed, attention to most details. Kitchen cutlery needs updating and sharpening, needs good French chef's knife and serrated bread knife. Master bedroom mattress could also use some updating.

Each return is better than the last

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is in excellent condition with several new appliances and furniture since our last visit. Clearly, the owners pay attention and maintain it well. Shore Thing's staff is responsive and efficient. The views are extraordinary. I saw my first green flash during a beautiful sunset. The hot tub was wonderful after a long walk from Netarts to Oceanside--where you can get a freshly made maple donut--at low tide. Netarts is a quiet town with a good coffee shop, a small grocery nearby with the essentials and an Indian restaurant being planned. Schooners Restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the views from this house! We enjoyed mornings out on the balcony with coffee and binoculars, watching bald eagles fly by, and lots of boats out on the bay!! It was so neat to watch the very active tidal waters of this area, sometimes the clean sounded and looked so close!! It was lovely to have a covered second porch downstairs with seating and the hot tub-it was still March at the coast and with the on again off again rain, this was such a lovely addition! The hot tub was huge, and so hot and clean! We loved sitting in at night and hearing the ocean as well as the morning while it was pouring outside! The spiral staircase was hard with our senior pup but we carried him up and down and it was still fine, just spent more time upstairs! I didn’t realize there was a third little level with another tv and couches-being up there during the rain was so cool, and even more beautiful watching a sunset from so high up! Easy to explore other places, the host was wonderful, and even ran out of her way to drop off something we needed! The house was clean, well stocked, there was a big bathtub we didn’t use because the hot tub was so wonderful! Beds were firm, I had read this and brought my own creature comfort pillow from home! We would definitely come back here and stay and happily explore this area more!! Thanks for sharing this house with us!
