> Vacker, ljus, öppen planlösning med mycket utrymme beläget på södra kusten av ön, några minuter från flygplatsen och nära havet med magnifik utsikt. > Huset rymmer bekvämt 6 personer. Varje stort sovrum har luftkonditionering, eget badrum, garderob och takfläkt. Två sovrum öppnar direkt mot utesluten uteplats och privat full storlek 14 x 28 infinitypool med utomhus BBQ / Grill (badhanddukar och solstolar tillhandahålls).

> Vid behov finns en enda barnsäng tillgänglig och kan ställas in i ett av sovrummen. Även om vår husgräns är 6, kan i vissa fall 7 övervägas. Förhandsgodkännande är nödvändigt.

Family holiday in barbados

A break with 2 daughters and one of their boyfriends - great for entertaining another family we know that stayed a mile or so away - the pool and barbecue made it great for evenings by the pool as the sun went down. 3 double rooms with en-suites were very comfortable and the kitchen facilities were fantastic Would highly recommend and will be coming back again for sure

This property was the best place I have ever stayed in from the property itself to the host everything was amazing! "It is what it is" The perfect place.

We had a wonderful holiday. Enjoyed all the attractions that the island has to offer. The house is superbly equipped and the location is perfect. Drinking my morning coffee near the pool enjoying the breeze and the silence, only interrupted at times by some airplanes, has been one of the greatest pleasures. My children have enjoyed the sea and the pool from the first day to the last. We are very grateful to Katherine, June and Kiana. We will definitely return to "It is what it is."

Beautiful villa

The villa is lovely with everything you could require , the property manager ( June ) was really helpful, the only downside was a neighbouring property had dogs that barked all day and night, we were woken several times at 3.00am , so take some ear plugs.

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed our visit a f stay. The house is set up nicely with lots of areas to hang out but we spent most of our time out by the pool! We got daily visitors of baby goats, bigs, and horses from a farm up the road and our two year old thought it was quite fun! You sit up on a hill so the breeze and views were nice but I’d definitely recommend having a car since the hill has a large turn it’s not the safest to walk anywhere. We would come back again, very comfortable for 4 adults and a 19 month old!

Authentic and wonderful setting to experience this special place

We've just had a most wonderful 2-week stay at this lovely home. The most appreciated elements for us were the cleanliness, and the pool. The house was just spotless - in the cupboards and out; from linen to sofas, bathrooms to dustbins. What a difference it makes!! The housekeeping service was fantastic, upping our stay to a bit of a hotel experience in that sense. The pool was absolutely divine and was really the main pull for us to have booked your home - it is clean, spacious and private: none of which are taken for granted having considered many other properties. The house is located close to the airport which was a little bit of a surprise for us as being in the flight path meant additional background noise, but the relaxed vibes of the island must have been effective, as none of us were greatly disturbed by this! Communication (with the owners) was outstanding, I've never had such efficient and prompt responses out of many years of globe trotting and holiday bookings - many thanks for this! A suggestion would be sharing a 'location pin' as it was difficult to find the place the first time with the street name not really known even amongst locals. Linens were generous and high quality; kitchen cupboards were immaculate, and the neighbourhood was calm and serene. What more?! Thank you Katherine and Doris.

Clean and Comfortable

What a lovely home this was. A short drive from the airport and about a 10 minute drive to Miami Beach. We were met there by June who was very efficient and helped us with all of our needs. The house was very clean and comfortable. The pool area was our favorite spot. Tea out on the pool deck in the morning and a swim after the beach. The house was well equipped with anything you needed. The only thing I would add would be a toaster oven so that you didn't have to turn the oven on to heat up a small item. We spoke with Doris most times and she was great to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay! Accommodation was perfect and ideally located for visiting the island.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay in Barbados! The house is ideal for 2 or 3 couples; with the 3 double rooms all with en suite. Located close to Oistins; St Lawrence Gap; Hastings and Bridgetown although nowhere on the island is too far to travel. Close proximity to the airport means it’s only a 10 minute journey to the house and, whilst you occasionally hear aircraft noise, it doesn’t impact detrimentally - even when relaxing by the pool. The house itself is well appointed, with everything you need for a self catering holiday, however there are dozens of quality restaurants within a 15-20 minute drive. Bar 557 at Carters Gap, is less than 10 minutes away, and we’ll worth a visit!! We will definitely be coming back to Barbados, and would be more than happy to rent this property again. Great house for a family or group of friends

Very nice, clean and up to date house on a quiet street. Good location - easy to get into Oistins and access to both east and west coast beaches. The pool was great for the kids. The only thing to flag is that it's close to the airport so sometimes you can hear the planes taking off / landing. That didn't interfere at all with our enjoyment, but you can hear them, sometimes at night / very early morning. On the plus side, it was a very short ride for our 6:30am flight! The property manager, June, was very responsive and dealing with the owners was equally pleasant and easy. Definitely recommend!

Awesome experience!

A group of six adults stayed at this beautiful house for 11 nights in February. The owners were very easy to work with and answered all inquiries in a prompt fashion. The house itself is great with lots of room for the six of us, comfortable furnishings and beds and lots of kitchen equipment and utensils to cook food yourself. The location is good too close to beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. Any issues were handled immediately by the property manager June who was always just a phone call away if needed. All in all a great experience in a great country from start to finish. I would recommend this villa to anyone.

Don't Miss Out on Barbados!

As every other review has stated -- this house is awesome. Big place with lots of windows that open to keep the air moving and tons of comfortable seating for lounging or gaming for the brief rainstorms that occurred. Pool area is awesome, there were 4 loungers and 4 of us and we used them throughout the day as well as in the evening for star gazing. The quality of the dishes and cooking pans is quite high, which we appreciated as we liked to prepare a couple of meals at the house each day. The huge amount of ice trays in the freezer also a great touch. We didn't rent a car as we figured we could work with the huge amount of taxis and the public ZR system. The house is located on a quiet street the access to which is the middle of a switch back on a hill. You can go up the hill to the main road (which we did the first couple times) or down the hill just past Mikes Mini Mart and catch the ZR busses there. It's about 1.5 km either way. We personally had a great experience with the ZR, it's cheap at $2bbd per person and you can get all the way up the west coast to Bridgetown fairly quickly. But be aware they will jam you in there like sardines if you are willing to get in a packed one haha. We also met some very friendly cab drivers to get home a couple of the nights and liked one guy so much we had him do an island tour later in our trip with his roomy van cab (with AC) for $35US an hour. When we return to Barbados in the future we will most likely rent a car now that we are familiar with the island. The left hand traffic and many traffic circles could be intimidating to some folks. The roads are fairly narrow and some are in questionable shape but I never once felt in danger walking on the side of the road -- and we did so a lot. Incredibly considerate drivers from our experience, we were even picked up by strangers on multiple occasions and dropped off at the bus stop we were headed for. I would highly recommend staying here. Owners and house manager are very professional. We stayed for 10 days and there was a mid week house and pool cleaning which was a nice touch. If you want to try surfing I highly recommend Zeds which is located just a few km south of the house. Chicken Rita's is a must for a dinner as well, also on the south coast, We never had a bad a meal anywhere we went. Miami beach is perfect. Enjoy your trip!! We sure did.

Absolutely wonderful.

This is a beautiful property. The pictures do not do it justice. We travelled with our family of 4 and had a ton of room. Each bedroom having it’s own bathroom is an excellent feature of the home. The kitchen is fully equipped. The only thing I might suggest is providing some Tupperware containers. June the property manager is absolutely wonderful. She made sure that we had everything we needed. Mary the cleaning lady did a fabulous job. Doris was absolutely wonderful to deal with in scheduling the home and answering all my questions. We were so thrilled with this property and will be staying there again.

Beautiful island, amazing house!

We spent Christmas week at this beautiful location in Barbados. Katherine was extremely helpful in all of our planning and June made sure that we didn't have any worries while we were on the island. They even had a Christmas tree up for us! The house itself is extremely spacious and very comfortable. Although it is close to both Oistins and the airport, it is on a quiet street with lots of privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed starting and ending every day in the pool. We did rent a car and found it quite easy to get around Barbados and explore. If you are interested in surfing, go to Cotton Bay, which is just a short drive from the house. You will surf every day with dozens of sea turtles. We highly recommend renting this house for your stay in Barbados! We hope to be back again!

Beautiful property and amazing location

My stay in this villa was absolutely perfect. The home is very well taken care of, clean and beautifully decorated. It also has a great view from the front of the home of the ocean. The pool in the backyard is very big and well maintained. The location is perfect and is a quick drive from the airport. We were also able to drive to most beaches and restaurants within 10-20 minutes. 10/10 would recommend to anyone planning to travel to Barbados in the future.

Beautiful House

Even though we went to Barbados for a sad occasion, the stay at the house was a pleasure. The house is neat, clean comfortable, private and has everything you need to feel like home. My family and I absolutely loved the pool. I would highly recommend this house for any family vacation, I know anyone that stays there will love it.

My new favourite vacation spot!!

The property was more than I expected, just beautiful. Large spacious house with everything needed for a wonderful restful vacation. Well equipped kitchen and every bedroom had it's own ensuite. The pool was wonderful with lots of loungers and tables. It is not on the beach but by car only minutes away from my favourite beach, Enterprise or Miami beach as the locals call it. Options for transportation are renting a car (which is what I did) or making arrangements with a taxi. You can get fresh fish at the Oistins fish market, which is near Massey grocery to get provisions for the house. I loved my stay and would rent this house again in a heart beat.

Barbadian Oasis

This is the PERFECT vacation home for groups of friends or families looking to experience Barbados in absolute comfort. The pictures do not do this house justice, it was HUGE!!! We rented this house with two other couples, and we never felt like we got in each others ways. Every room has it own en-suite which was a huge selling point, and every room was impeccable decorated and clean. The pool was absolutely perfect for when we wanted a break from the beaches, we even had a Margarita party! Katherine responded to all my inquiries in a timely manor, and made renting this property effortless. June the property manager was amazing, and had cold beers and rum waiting for us when we arrived. We always felt completely safe and relaxed in the neighborhood, and would even get visits from some of the cute horses and goats from the farm close by. There are a few bus stops close to the house, but we found the buses weren't super reliable, I would suggest renting a car or cabbing for your transportation needs. That being said, the drive into Oistins was less than 5 minutes, and very easy to get to. Being able to come back to this hidden oasis after a long day at the beach was a real treat! I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to visit Barbados.

Beautiful House

This house is beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice and the lady that met us and gave us the keys to the place was very nice and told us we could call her if we needed help with anything. Even though there is no air conditioning in the house it is set up so there are a lot of windows and doors to open and there are tons of fans. It was very comfortable in the house both during the day and for sleeping at night and I actually enjoyed getting able to be in the beautiful Barbados air all day long. The kitchen has about anything supplied that you could imagine. There is pots and pans, silverware, almost more supplies than I have in my kitchen at home. The location of the house is great! A short drive from Oistens and from Miami Beach. The local fish at Oistens is amazing. I picked up a local pinaeapple at a vendor and it was amazing as well. I very much enjoyed my stay and I would highly recommend this place.

Wundervoller Aufenthalt, ausgezeichnetes Haus!

We had a wonderful time in Barbados and this house played a big role in that. It is based at a convenient location: only a 10 minutes drive from the airport and 10 minutes to beautiful "Enterprise Beach". The house provided more than enough space for our party of six. It has a spacious and well equipped kitchen that made it possible to cook for all of us. The whole house is very clean and numerous fans and a jump in the pool keep you cool during hot days. I can really recommend a stay at this location. Perfect place to enjoy the paradise of Barbados

A comfortable, luxurious and epic stay in Barbados

This house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. There are so many rooms and spaces for relaxing, reading, playing board games, or whatever you want to do on your vacation. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. It is obvious the owners really love this place and put their hearts into it. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which is a LIFESAVER when coming home from the beach and everyone wants to wash away the sand at the same time. No wait times or lineups in this house! The kitchen is also fabulous with great equipment and lots of space to cook. It was very clean and a perfect spot to relax and cook. It also has an open concept to it so the cooks are never alone! I really enjoyed the open concept not just in the kitchen but throughout the house. You never feel like you're missing out on anything! The beach is a quick drive away and trust me Enterprise Beach is something you do NOT want to miss. A beautiful beach with sandy shores, lots of shady spots and don't forget about Mr. Delicious for a fabulous meal (fish cakes, fish cutters, fries...etc). The pool at the house is the perfect refreshing temperature and the infinity style makes it seem like you are swimming off into the ocean on the horizon. It is a perfect way to start or end a day. We definitely spent many lazy days by the pool playing music, reading and enjoying ourselves. This house is perfect for a variety of groups whether families with young or older kids or a group of friends. There is so much to do at the house and plenty to do around the area. Oistin's is a short drive away where you can enjoy Friday Fish Fry's and have an absolute blast!! We also loved going to Bert's Bar for the world's best banana daiquiris and a little taste of home (if you're Canadian and love hockey!). Surfer's Cafe is another restaurant very close by that has a gorgeous ocean front view and fabulous food. All in all the location speaks for itself as you are close to beaches, great restaurants, grocery stores and more. But even with all these great things close by, you never even want to leave the comfort of this home and all its fantastic amenities. I would recommend this place to anyone, I had the most amazing time and can't wait to go back! THANK YOU!

Comfortable and relaxing stay in Paradise

I've been vacationing in Barbados for years and really enjoyed my stay here. I stayed here with my boyfriend and two other couples, but I could see it being great for a young family. All facilities that were listed were available (they even had a blender for margaritas!) and the place was clean and spacious. The private villa is up on a hill and looks over Oistins, Christchurch and the ocean. Only a short drive down to the beaches, Oistins Fish Fry and St. Lawrence Gap. The pool was also perfect when we decided to lounge around the house for the day. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for a relaxing and quiet vacation that's only a short drive to the busy tourist attractions, restaurants and beaches.

Holiday Home Away from Home

My family and I all loved our stay at this newly renovated holiday home! Close to the beach, just a short drive down the hill! Also near to the Oistins fish fry! This place felt like our home away from home, we will definitely be back to enjoy the sunshine and the infinity pool!

Hello, My name is Doris and I co-own the house with my husband Robert, his sister Katherine and her husband Paul. We are Canadians living in Ontario with strong personal ties to Barbados with Robert and Katherine being Citizens of Barbados by Descent. The property is our retirement home for part of the year and we welcome guests to come visit and enjoy when we are not there!

This property is located in Wilcox in the parish of Christ Church, where my father-in-law grew up. We discovered this house while on vacation a few years ago just across from a property we were renting and decided it was the perfect spot with its lovely breezes and beautiful views. Peaceful and relaxing with everything just a short distance away. It just felt right. It was an older property, however with extensive renovations we opened up the spaces and made it into a comfortable pleasing home we are proud of and look forward to sharing with others.

The house is very open and airy with wonderful spaces for gathering together or finding a quiet space of your own. The bedrooms are all large, each has its own bathroom - no sharing. There is nothing better than sitting on the deck in the evenings with a drink in hand just watching the stars or taking a late night swim.
