We’re also happy to hear the shaded couch and heated pool made your stay extra comfortable! You’re spot on about the location, our guests love the 'quiet and secure' feel of being slightly removed from the hustle, and as you mentioned, a quick golf cart or bike ride is the perfect way to zip into town. We’d love to host you again for another 'spotless' getaway!

We agree that the seaweed odor can be quite strong at times and that is why we include the following disclaimer on our website for all units at the Beach Club: *Disclaimer: Due to the property's oceanfront location, please be aware that Key West experiences seasonal occurrences of fermenting turtle grass along the south shore of the island brought on by our southern winds in the summer. This is a natural phenomenon that is outside of our control. Also, the Beach Club is situated along natural shoreline. For wider, sandier beaches Smathers, Rest and Higgs Beaches are located on either side of the Beach Club and have beach rentals and facilities.* We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your recommendation. Your feedback is important to us, but we need to clarify a few things in your review. First of all, you do not get the Rent Key West Rental Agreement after you purchase your trip. That is simply not true. We do not process any money from guests or confirm the reservation until after the rental agreement is signed and returned to us. We give our guests 3 days to review the contract, ask questions and decide on the option of purchasing travel insurance through us. If after reviewing the contract, a guest decides they do not want to continue with the booking, the reservation is not processed, dates are opened back up, and no money is charged to that guest. Once our contract is signed, then we follow our cancellation policy as stated in the contract. We strongly suggest purchasing the travel insurance, especially during hurricane season, which you did not do. As for us, asking you to leave your condo on 9/5/17, there was a MANDATORY EVACUATION order issued by Monroe County. It is our job and duty to enforce that. This was do out of concern for your safety. We even tried to offer you alternative transportation during the evacuation, which you refused. Our main priority during an evacuation is the safety or our guests, our friends and family.

Guest feedback is important to us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the location and property of of our condo. We have serviced the ice machine and checked the AC, which is running properly. July is the hight of the hottest time of year in Key West, so if the blinds were open all day on the sliding glass doors, it could prevent the AC from keeping the master bedroom as cool as the other areas of the condo.
