Just found our annual beach vacation spot!

I’m 36 and I’ve been coming to Destin since I was a child. This area is THE BEST part of the beach, hands down. Less crowded, no seaweed, incredible views, close to some great restaurants and gift shops. We saw manatees and dolphins right in front of the Condo multiple days, the atmosphere is extremely family friendly, we just had the best stay. The condo comes with tons of beach toys, boogie boards, extra beach chairs, and a wagon to haul it all down to the beach. It was just perfect!

Relaxing Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at HSRC. We love the location and easy access to the beach. As well as the excellent beach service. We did have one hiccup upon arrival. Our condo was delayed upon check-in. We did not get inside until 6:30 due to the owner's error on the calendar. However, Shannon of HSRC was our hero. She discounted our first night and allowed us to check out late. Thank you Shannon! Overall, we were mixed on the condo itself. We did not realize it was a corner condo which meant our neighbors were right there. We would choose a different condo location next time. The bed was comfortable, the rain shower was wonderful, the appliances were fine and the sofa had nice reclining seats. The TV took a little bit of time to figure out but we got it. Unfortunately, the bedroom TV had a glitch in which the volume was 'stuck'. I apologize for not reporting this to the management. We did have 1 unpleasant surprise, the housekeeping did not clean the microwave and it was filthy. But, we cleaned it. All in all, we enjoyed our beach vacation and look forward to another one in the future.

Our room was clean and well stocked. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful! The only issue we had was that we lost a beach chair and towel. I had called the front desk to let them know our chair and towel were still at our beach set up and we might not make it back until dark (we had left them there when it started raining and planned to go back later that day when the rain stopped but it never really stopped raining.) The lady said it was no problem and she’d have a beach attendant bring them to front desk. They were never taken to the front desk and the beach attendant said he never heard anything about getting them. Not a huge deal but it was a little frustrating. We did enjoy our stay and would definitely return.

We loved the staff, the free movies and the condo. Pretty short walk to the beach and they were making improvements. Only concern was beach erosion znd view from balcony is a wall looking out from living romm. Because its a corner unit in crease of building you feel like you are on balcony with your neighbors . This cannot be changed and I ferl as if pricing reflects this issue.

If you wanted to wash, you had to go to the laundry room. I liked the location, but wouldn't recommend to others for this reason. Nice view, but room is very outdated
