Simply wonderful!

This was our second stay at this property. . .and it was even better this time. Once we left the grocery store, we didn't go anywhere our legs couldn't take us! When we are home we drive A LOT so we just love that we didn't need a car. There isn't much to say that hasn't already been said about the property or the location. It's really just perfect. Relaxing, comfortable, everything you and your family need to have a wonderful time. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

Awesome rental experience

We have used VRBO many, many times-including two rentals earlier this summer in Carmel and Seattle. Those were excellent experiences so the bar was high for this trip. This rental is tops!!! As a previous reviewer said, this home inspires relaxation the moment you enter. It's beautifully decorated with a casual feel. It's like stepping into a page of "Coastal Living" magazine. Everything you need is right here, beach towels, backpack beach chairs, hair dryer, a fully stocked kitchen, coffee and french press, boogie boards, a beach shovel, BBQ. These folks thought of everything. SOOOO much better than a hotel. Our favorite was the bikes! We felt like locals riding down into town everyday. The beach here is great and less crowded than further south. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the neighborhood was and the view is wonderful. Would highly recommend this property for anyone who wants a relaxing vacation close to a great beach with everything they need at their finger tips!!

I just love this house! It's bright and clean and comfy and has everything you need! It's so close to the beach, you can walk or bike to everything you need! Thank you for a great weekend!!

Perfect Stay!

Love this amazing place, stayed with 3 girlfriends and walked to the beach for sunset, rode bikes down the strand and walked to wonderful eateries! Great to have the kitchen and living area so we could share morning coffee and stories before getting ready to adventure. The loveliest little touches and decor, we all wished we didn’t have to go home.

Best Place Ever!

We would stay here again in a heartbeat! A perfect fit for a family of four. The location is incredible, the cleanliness and classiness was 5 Star quality. The overall feel encouraged relaxation, peacefulness and vacation. There is truly something special about this this property. Thank you!

Cozy Beach Cottage-Excellent hosts!

We had such a lovely time enjoying Thanksgiving week with our two college students in this well-stocked beach home. We were able to cook and bake many of our family favorites during our stay. The home is thoughtfully appointed for the needs and desires of the traveller. Our host Deena, was considerate of our needs, providing some kitchen extras to make pies and such! Deena's kindness shined throughout our experience. From the start when making our reservation request to returning our security deposit - Denna was extremely responsive and accommodating at all times. The location is great for quick access to LAX and the beach! We managed nicely for a week with no car by mostly walking and biking in the area. Everything is as stated in property listing. Excellent experience!

Wonderful stay in this gorgeous apartment

We stayed here for 5 days with our 2.5 year old son, and just had the best time. The area is fantastic, super chilled and family friendly, and the property is literally 2 blocks to the ocean. We brought a toddler gate to secure the stairs which really helped it to feel safe and suitable for any age child. The apartment is beautifully kept, there is everything you could need to stay there and more- including beach items, bikes, sun creams, beach towels and gorgeous bath and shower products that really make this place feel like an extra special home from home. The beds are comfortable, showers powerful and everything is very clean and well looked after. The garage parking is really handy, we stored our stroller etc in there too, and enjoyed lots of walks around Manhattan Beach and the strand- you could literally leave your car there the whole trip and explore on foot if you wanted to. Overall a perfect trip to LA and we will definitely be back.

Great location, nice place and super host!

Can’t say enough of the great hospitality you get by having Deena on your team when you’re in MB. We spent almost two weeks with my wife and our two boys (8 and 10). We had a great time but it was truly made even better by all the the heldful advice Deena gives you ahead of time and while you are there. Rests to book ahead of time, places you should bike to, locations her family and two boys have enjoyed. She had bottled water and plenty of other basics in the house and told us to helps ourseleves to whatever we needed. A bottle of wine plus a nice a handwritten card on arrival. All this while being a block from the ocean. We live in NYC and have stayed at many VRBO homes (East Hampton, Streamboat, Newport Beach) but this one was the most Value added given you get a local host when you stay here. My wife and I were very thankful for all her helpful advice and just helped make the time spent with our two young boys even better! Thanks again!!!

Perfect apartment so close to the beach!

My husband and I rented this property for just over 3 months while we were remodeling our home. We couldn't have been more comfortable in this home away from our home! The property is a 3 minute walk to the beach and 5-10 min to a bunch of little restaurants as well. The apartment is just like the photos and description. Perfectly maintained and extremely clean! It has really cute beach decor, and extra touches like beach chairs, beach towels and bikes. The kitchen is newly updated and fully stocked with everything you need. The bathrooms are great size as well with fresh, clean linens. The owners were always quick to respond to any questions we had. We felt so lucky to be able to stay in such a lovely home while we worked on ours. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a great spot close to the beach!

Clean, comfortable and accomodating

We had a wonderful stay here. We walked in for the first time and were overwhelmed by how clean and welcoming it was. We've stayed at other places before but they were nothing like this! There were fresh flowers around the home, a bottle of wine on the counter, and everything we needed to get started on our vacation. There were chairs, boogie boards, and towels for a fun day at the beach as well as bikes for a nice ride along the Strand. Deena went above and beyond to accommodate us from the garage to the rental time frame, and after we arrived made herself available to ensure that everything was going as planned. The location was great. Easy access to the beach and simple to leave and come back to when we went on day trips. This is not a party area. We felt very safe and secure, and the nights were quiet. There are many restaurants within walking distance for breakfast through dinner and we took advantage of them often. A nicely stocked grocery just down the street in the pier area as well as many more restaurant options. All around we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return in the future.

Beautiful beach apartment, one block from ocean!

We had an amazing time in this charming Manhattan Beach apartment, one block from the Ocean. Amenities were impeccable and the property was spotless and well maintained with many extra's. No need to bring anything but your bathing suit! Great restaurants within walking distance and biking along the strand was a highlight. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend. Owners were the best! Thank you~

Beach fun while you work!

We recently stayed at this wonderful property while my husband had work in the LA area. It had everything we could possibly want for enjoyable days at the beach. Plenty of space at the beach out front but close to all the fun restaurants and activities at the pier. We had 2 teens with us as well and the bikes and boogie boards were so much fun!

Manhattan Beach Treasure!

I had the pleasure of renting this property for 3.5 months! The location is amazing--literally a block to the beach and equally close to many restaurants! The interiors are tastefully done and all the little details are perfect: yummy sheets and fluffy towels plus wonderfully fragrant candles. In the spacious garage there are cruiser bikes and boogie boards. There is also a full laundry room! It is a quiet neighborhood and very convenient. I plan on staying there again and again! Plus, the owners are very thoughtful and responsive to any questions that I had!

Exceptional So Cal Retreat

This California beach home was the perfect place to stay during Christmas! Our family of four enjoyed the beautifully decorated and incredibly clean home! Loved drinking coffee on the deck while watching the surfers in the morning, walking & jogging along the Strand, shopping and eating in Manhattan Beach and Hermosa, and the fabulous sunsets. The owners provided a welcome package including wine, water, coffee, breakfast food, and fresh flowers. They have set the bar high for other owners in the area! Worth flying across the US to stay here and look forward to coming back!

Perfectly perfect!

My daughter and I wanted to show our Parisian exchange student a beach city in Southern California. Our arrival was at sunset and we were so thrilled with how close we were to the beach (like a 3 minute walk). The ocean breeze was so refreshing after a long drive down the coast from Berkeley. Our home away form home was spotless, fully stocked and ready or our arrival (sadly, not always the case with other rentals we've had). I can tell that the owners spent a lot of time, energy and money on the updates, decor and the multitude of personal touches. Things that I personally appreciated... A stunning sunset each evening, a relaxing beach walk each morning, hours in between relaxing and enjoying. A rain shower head with my favorite shampoo and conditioner, beautiful linens and towels, a beach bag in the closet, sun screen and after-sun lotion, a wonderful sharp knife in the kitchen drawer, a press pot and great coffee, chilled water bottles ready to grab and go, beach cruisers, beach chairs, a garage for our SUV so we could park it/leave it and not worry about tickets, a quiet neighborhood and nice neighbors, a really perfect location with everything all around us. Seriously, perfectly perfect and you will not be disappointed! We will be back again!

Perefct Beach Get away!!!!

A beautiful impeccably decorated beach getaway!! Everything you could possibly need is at your fingertips.... beach, beautiful views, good eats (highly recommend Taco Tuesday @ OB's or Pancho's) shopping and sight seeing. Bikes, towels, beach chairs and more! We were even greeted with fresh flowers and bottle of wine!!! Impossible not to relax and unwind here :)

Perfect Getaway!!

Cute, clean, comfortable and convenient! We love this place for all the above and more. It is so beautifully decorated and inspires relaxation the moment you walk in the door! It is close to everything and just a 10 minute taxi ride from LAX- don't even need to rent a car! They have all that you need for the beach, including bicycles. I love that I can start my day with my morning coffee and see and breathe in the ocean from here! It's perfect for a family getaway or a romantic getaway or a weekend with girlfriends!

Paradise Found!

Our family of five was looking for a way to combine Spring Break with three teenagers (14, 15 & 17) and college visits. We were so lucky to find that this rental was available. The owner was prompt and professional. The rental was beautifully appointed with brand new linens and new appliances. Everything was spotless. Our teenagers loved boogie boarding and surfing. It was great to walk to restaurants nearby. i have rented many times and for many years on VRBO and this was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had so far.

A beautiful 2 bedroom beach Oasis in Manhattan Beach

I was looking for a house in Manhattan Beach with 2 BR/2 Bath so that I could bring the kids. This rental far exceeded our expectations in every way. Only a BLOCK AND A HALF from the beach with ocean view (thanks to hill up from ocean providing stadium views). Great surfing and boogie boarding (which they supply) were only a few minute walk. The place was beautifully furnished all around. The kitchen contained stainless steal appliances, WIFI throughout, super cute table and chairs to eat out on the deck, wall mounted HDTV in living room, plus TVs in both bedrooms, beach cruiser, beach chairs. I also loved that the pantry was stocked with organic goodies by owners. It is also conveniently located walking distance from great restaurants and shops in MB, and only 10 min. drive from LAX. The owners could not have been more gracious, and even checked up to make sure we had everything we needed and all our questions answered. Suffice it to say we did not want to leave and can hardly wait to return to this lovely oasis.
