Fantastic getaway

This was our 2nd time staying here and I know it won’t be the last! This home is beautiful and perfectly located. Ala is awesome to work with and makes sure you are taken care of while you are there. I would highly recommend you to choose this as your location to stay while in Manhattan Beach.

Amazing Home and Host Ala WILL NOT DISAPPOINT, if your lucky enough to find this property AVAILABle

This 3rd annual Manhattan Beach trip was by far the BEST! :) The largest contributing factor was Ala’s home, hospitality, and how well he’s fully stocked home with all the unique luxurious amenities, cleanliness, and the fact of all the good energy in the home from the TLC Ala’s put into it. There is NOT one thing that we went without during our stay… from BBQing on 3rd floor balcony, sunset/beach views, fire pit, 4 bike ride, all beach necessity’s from 8 chairs, surfing/boogie boards, beach toys, and the outside strong warm shower to rinse off. So much more to list. We’ll be back again!!

Perfect Beach Getaway

This was a perfect home for our family. Very clean and well decorated. Centrally located. Walking distance to downtown and one block from the beach. Home had every amenity necessary including everything you need for a day at the beach!

Amazing Stay

Ala is a very thoughtful host. The house itself is stunning, but it also comes equipped with anything and everything you could possibly want--from beach chairs, to bikes, to stunning views. The location--a few short blocks to the beach, shopping, restaurants--made this stay truly relaxing and stress-free. Can't wait to return!

Wish we could have stayed longer!!

This was our first experience with a VRBO and it couldn’t have been better! Everything from finding the property online to Check-in, and the stay there was great! The place is fabulous, it’s a great location, and Ala, the owner, couldn’t have been nicer. The place had everything we could ever need. I love the “home away from home feel”. We just wish we could have stayed longer! We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect location and incredible find

This 3 story home has a lot of character and an incredible view of the beach. It's a 10 min walk to downtown and has 3 bedrooms that could be family and couples friendly. I absolutely love the balcony areas, cozy spots by the fireplace, and modern decor. I'd absolutely stay here again next time I visit. It's worth the price and Ala was very accommodating and responsive.

As Great as Advertised

This place is awesome-well within walking distance of downtown and the beach/strand. Beautiful house and incredibly well stocked with everything you need. Ala the owner is a terrific guy and very responsive when you call/text him. Not sure we’ve ever enjoyed a VRBO more than this place. Completely as advertised.

Beautiful Property and great location

We rented the house for my daughter’s College graduation. The house was perfect for our family of 4. It is very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The property is walking distance from the beach and very close to many great restaurants and shopping stores. Ala was a great host! Would highly recommend his home.

Great family weekend!

This home was just as described online! The living space was perfect for our family. The host was very responsive especially as it relates to having equipment for a 15-month old baby - there was a baby gate, high chair and crib available and all set up when we got there. And the kitchen is very well equipped, which was great since we like to make some meals when we travel with the family. A great view and easy access to the beach made it perfect for our needs as well. I would highly recommend this property!

So nice and beautiful views!

We had a great time. This house has everything you could need. The home has beautiful views of the ocean and is in a great location of Manhattan Beach. The owner, Ala was so easy to work with and he went above and beyond to accommodate us. I planned this trip months in advance for my daughter’s 18th birthday. He explained all about LA from shopping, to dinners, to what to see.. etc. It was a great experience and wish we could have stayed longer. I would most definitely rent this house again.

Graduation

We were visiting for our elder daughter's graduation from USC. We could not have picked a better property for the week! True home from home comforts in an amazing location! The description was absolutely accurate and the property immaculate! We loved the layout and amenities of the property, especially the outdoor fireplace! The location is incredible (we so loved walking along the beach front to the restaurants) and the immediate area beautiful. Any questions we had for suggestions/recommendations were promptly answered by the landlord who was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this home!

Amazing stay

All the stars for this property and for Ala! Perfect location on a quiet street but close to everything. Never used the car, walked to restaurants, groceries, shopping, the beach and the strand! Property is very well equipped from beach gear and bikes to spices in the kitchen. Great for relaxing. Soaked in the bathtub and used the yoga mat for yoga and meditation. Comfortable living area that opens to a wonderful outdoor space with fire pit and great ocean views! Ala was so friendly and available to answer questions and help with anything. Hope to stay again soon!!

Luxury Location absolutely Perfect

We can't say enough great things about the house and the host. First, the view is spectacular and you can appreciate it from bedrooms and the living space. The location couldn't be more perfect - we walked to shops/restaurants. The house looks like it could be featured in a magazine but yet is warm and inviting at the same time. And, every single thing you need is there. You won't be missing a thing! Most importantly, Ala was the perfect host before and during our stay. He checked on us but left us on our own to enjoy our wonderful getaway. We will most certainly book again... and again!

Paradise in California

My family has stayed in many rentals across the US and this is by far our favorite. Everything is seamless. There is nothing the house doesn’t provide - including coffee and a welcome bottle of wine. We were able to have an incredible beach day with all the provided supplies. The bed was so comfortable I had to take a picture of the bedding tags so I could order them for my own house when I get home. The house is spotless. We didn’t cook but they had all the supplies to cook fabulous meals. Walking distance to all the best restaurants and stores. Close to the airport. It doesn’t get better than this!

Unmatched Host Service, Prime Location and Amenities, Fabulous Stay For Families

I will start this by saying that my wife is a bit difficult to please…and this stay impressed even her. We booked this stay nearly one year in advance. The host was amazingly attentive before, during, and after our stay. We were initially concerned about comfortability considering we would be bringing our 1-year-old and 3-year-old. This turned out better than we presumed though. We were provided all the necessary resources such as washer/dryer, extra towels, crib, pack n play, and very sturdy baby gates.Proximity to the beach, as well as the view from the house, was incredible and having the wagon and extras available was a huge plus as we traveled from across country. We walked to most shopping and restaurants. There were plenty of breakfast and lunch options nearby, as well as a chill and fun nightlife down the street. There was also a great park 2 blocks away to get our kid’s energy out.Host was very communicative, provided tools and resources, followed up about our comfortability and service, and offered great suggestions. Rules to the house were simple and beds were extremely comfortable with only the best products being utilized at the house. We had 4 adults and 2 young children housed comfortably. My wife says that we will be booking this VRBO again. Highly suggested. Pictures don’t do it justice.

Dream House

There is only one word that could describe our week long stay and that is house- PERFECTION. My husband and I cherished the week we spent with our 3 grown children and their significant others (one couple lives in MB and did not stay at the house but having two parking spots made it so easy for them to come to the house).The house's well appointed kitchen made cooking hassle free as sitting together around a dinner table is what I cherish. Gorgeous amenities- bathrooms, beds, and furniture all lovely. The view and outdoor firepit area can't be beat. Walk to the beach and town gave everyone freedom to explore. Ala was wonderful as well. We didn't have many questions or need much but Ala was quick to reply when we did. Knowing he was available set my mind at ease.If you rent this house you won't regret it. We have used VRBO all over the world and this is now at the top of our "return to" list

Look no further....

We totally enjoyed our stay at this property. There were 4 of us (me, my husband and our 2 children age 19, 20). It was the perfect size for us. The photos accurately represent the home and the location is excellent! We walked The Strand everyday down to Hermosa Beach for breakfast (The Good Life), and each evening we walked to dinner in Manhattan Beach. We used the bikes to get around during the day, enjoyed our beach time and spent sunsets either on the lovely balcony or on the beach! We did not have nor did we need a car at all. We used "Ralph's" app to order and deliver groceries (excellent and timely with quick text communications to let you know if store was out of a selection or any substitutes needed). Note that the home is on 3 levels with 1 bedroom on the garage level, 2 on the second level and living/dining area on 3rd. If you can't navigate stairs then then you should consider a different location. Our son stayed in the garage level bedroom and stated that the mattress was too firm for his taste but others may prefer that over the pillowy/cozy beds on level 2. We will definitely stay here again!

Everything and MORE!

My husband and I (and now a 3 year old) rent in Manhattan Beach every summer and this rental, by far, exceeded all others. Let me explain why: 1. The pictures not only accurately represent what the house--and top-of-the-line amenities--look like, I feel they don't go far enough actually. The place is so sunny, open and light during the day (in a great way! Of course you can pull down shades if that isn't your thing. :)...so while the moody, romantic vibe comes across loud and clear -- that was my one concern going in & I couldn't have been happier about the reality. 2. It's a very different experience to rent directly from a really 'on it' owner, as opposed to an agent. The owner of this property could not have been more on top of literally *everything* AND soooo nice. That just makes a stay SO MUCH BETTER. 3. Location: Key. Walking straight down your street to a big, gorgeous beach that stays quite empty is A+++. And you're also a very quick walking distance to town. In Summary--you cannot go wrong with this spectacular rental. I always insist on seeing a property live before we rent (but didn't need to in this case). And I can promise you an amazing experience if you end up here.

Excellent communication with Ala before our arrival and during our stay. A friend joined last minute and he added a beach chair for her. When we arrived, we asked for a refresh on the downstairs bedroom area b/c it was dusty and it was addressed immediately. Location is perfect for the beach and walking to the Strand, restaurants, shops, etc. Garage had lots of beach equipment and toys, kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Thank you for making our trip to the Beach memorable!
