Basic and clean

This property is perfectly adequate for the price. It was very clean other than the sofa but that is to be expected for a beach rental. The location is quiet and safe and about a 10 min walk to the beach. There is a nice cafe (Pig something) within walking distance as well as 2 different ice cream shops. The general store didn't open until 10 though so that was a bummer when we tried to get ice. One note...we would recommend that the wifi password as well as the directions to the beach access be written somewhere in the unit (on the fridge or something). We would stay here again. The beach is amazing.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The surrounding area-was nice. Not too far from the beach. Very quiet community. The property management was responsive to calls and emails. When we arrived the unit was not cleaned throughly. There was one wall that was very dirty. Carpet and floors look like they had not been swept. We did find two cockroaches during our stay. There was only one roll of toilet paper, one garbage bag, no dish soap, or hand soap.

Magnificent and Quiet

The nature trail was such a bonus to the tennis courts and swimming pools. We loved how quiet the area is and how it's within walking distance to a shopping area and just across the street from the beach! We will definitely rent this unit again in the future!

Comfortable, quiet, beautiful beaches

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'm glad I read all the details prior to staying here, so we came prepared. It is odd to pay to stay somewhere and have to bring your own toilet paper. The area was lovely but more populated/crowded than expected. It's a nice location. You can walk to the beach, but if you're carrying lots of things, there is a place someone can drop you off to make it easier. The beach and water are lovely; the public stretch of beach isn't huge, but we always found a place to set up.The tennis courts are also marked for pickle ball, and we got in a couple of games which was nice. Everything was clean: the condo, the pool, the property, and the beach. We had a nice time. Would visit again, perhaps in cooler months.

NOT MY KINDA PLACE

Did not like the area at all, way too crowded, and too much traffic (foot, bikes, golf carts, cars). While the the beach is beautiful, its way too crowded, and not convenient to condo. Pool was more like a hot tub, not refreshing at all. Restaurants are way way overpriced and hard to get a reservation. We've been to other beach areas that were less crowded and less expensive, and just as nice if not nicer. Sorry We won't be back.

Pool was small and loaded with little kids. Adults have a difficult time enjoying the pool. Beach access took some walking and the beach near was packed. For the cost of our stay, we felt that it was not worth it. Of course the beach is beautiful when one can see from behind all the umbrellas:(

Cassine Gardens 271 is Awesome!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location! Great two-story townhouse with everything you need for a week-long stay! Very, very clean and neat! Main bathroom upstairs is two parts with a door in between the shower/toilet and the sink so two people can be in there at the same time. It's not the Taj Mahal but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay, this is it! We will definitely be back! Candy at Seagrove rentals is awesome!

Cassine Stay During Sally

Adequate for the price

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Now that the Seagrove Beach area is so overcrowded, renting at the last minute is very difficult. We rented this unit and were grateful the management company offered a further discount. Once we were settled, however, we were glad we did not pay more. Cassine Garden is a surprisingly nice development but this unit is situated far from the beach. For half the week we were unaware the unit had laundry facilities -- the washer and dryer are in a locked shed on the back patio. This unit would be a much nicer place to stay with updated furnishings -- the couch is smaller than full size and the only other furniture for watching tv are two very small swivel chairs. The beds also need updating including the bedding. The one full bath is the only part of the condo that didn't seem clean -- the shower unit appeared to be painted with some material. All the bathroom fixtures must be original to the condo which I guess was built in the 1980s. Both decks off of the upper level have uneven boards and there is not outdoor furniture on the patio which is behind a tennis court. An investment of $5,000 to $10,000 in this unit is long overdue. We were very happy with Seagrove on the Beach Rentals and next time we are planning to visit the area we will call them first.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at 271 Cassine Gardens. The condo is quaint, close to the beach, and well equipped. We always enjoy staying at this condo as this is the third time we have stayed there. The only small complaint we have is that the Wifi had to be rebooted in order for it to work, but this was done Monday morning after our Saturday arrival and the Wifi worked well the rest of the week.
