Promenera till stan från vacker stuga w / Guest House & A / C!

Vi har just renoverat vår familjs Nantucket Cottage och angränsande Guest House i Nantuckets flagg-spangled Historic District. Fastigheten ligger en kort promenad till staden, hamnen och Children's Beach.
Ingen bil behövs! Men om du vill ta med din bil, har vi parkering för en bil.
Fastigheten innehåller både ett huvudhus och ett separat pensionat, vilket gör det till ett perfekt tillflyktsort för par som reser tillsammans eller för familjer som reser med vänner, morföräldrar eller barnbarn.

Huvudbyggnaden har en öppen planlösning med katedraltak, stora balkar och en röd tegel spis i 1940-talet. Omgivet av stora fönster är matsalen ljus och luftig - en perfekt plats att äta frukost och planera för en dag med sightseeing, segling och cykling runt ön.

Vi har installerat vackra vita skräddarsydda Bali 2 "trådlösa veckade nyanser med ljus som sprider integritetsfoder på ALLA fönster i huvudhuset.

Köket har anpassade skåp, bänkskivor från Corian, vitvaror i rostfritt stål och en ätbar frukostbar. Tillsammans med den (nya 2019) 5-brännargrillen på uteplatsen, ger köket dig allt du behöver för att laga mat och servera den perfekta BBQ-familjen. Matbordet har plats för 6. Vardagsrummet har en bekväm soffa och en 48 "SMART TV. Du hittar också en tvättmaskin och torktumlare med frontbelastning.

Det stora sovrummet har en ny drottningsmadrass och låda våren (hösten 2017) med eget badrum och 32 "SMART TV; det andra sovrummet har en QUEEN säng med inbyggd 6 låda byrå. Allmänt, huvudbyggnaden sover fyra.

Gästhuset ligger omedelbart intill huvudhuset. Den sover två och har totalrenoverats. Den har en QUEEN-säng, en 40 "SMART-TV, ett privat badrum och ett pentry. Anpassade Bali 2 "veckade nyanser på alla fönster. Rätt bakom pensionatet ligger en liten uteplats med blåsten med sittplats för två.

Den stora uteplatsen i trädgården omges av höga häckar och underbara skuggträd. År 2019 tillfogade vi en ny 5-brännare BBQ, ett nytt matbord med uteplats med plats för 6 och en ny 4-delad sittgrupp.

Nantucket är vackert på sommaren och dagarna är varma. För att hålla dig sval har vi installerat luftkonditionering i både huvudhuset och pensionatet. Hela fastigheten är välutrustad med handdukar, sänglinne, köksartiklar, redskap, glas, disk och allt annat du behöver för att känna dig som hemma på ön. Vår fastighetsförvaltare bor bara en mil bort, så om du behöver något kan han vara där på några minuter. Detta hus är perfekt för familjer, par, konstnärer, författare, båtlivare, strandälskare och utmattade stadsbor som vill koppla av.

We had a wonderful time! The place was beautiful and exactly as described. Communication was easy, and the location was excellent. We could walk and bike to everything with ease - no car needed, as we only brought our bikes. It’s located on a more active road (relatively speaking, for Nantucket ), but it wasn’t disruptive at all. We especially enjoyed being close to the bike paths and having the option to walk into town. Highly recommend!

This is our third time staying at this wonderful property. Such a lovely spot close enough to walk to town, but far enough away to be relaxing. The backyard is lovely and there are ample bathrooms to make guests and teenagers happy!

This is our 3rd year at Michele’s fantastic home. The house is perfect, has everything anyone could ever want.The location is an easy walk to town and perfect access to the best beaches and bike paths. We absolutely love it!!

The house is beautiful and well-stocked. The host is extremely gracious & attentive. There is a new washer/dryer and a small dishwasher. It is a short walk to town. The guest house was especially lovely. The house is located on a busy thoroughfare and we had loud neighbors who were in close proximity, so our stay was not as peaceful as we had hoped.

Amazing stay!

Had a great experience at this Nantucket VRBO. It was clean, well-stocked and looked just like the pictures. An easy 15 minute or so walk to the town center. Would stay again!

Destination Wedding

Great for us as we came and went to all the wedding events while our adult daughter and our grandkids enjoyed the house, the backyard and the ( easy peasy) walks into town. How nice to have a bathroom for every bedroom— not often available. The separate ( but arm’s distance away) cottage allowed the kids to do their own thing while the adults had quiet space to read and relax.

Quintessential Nantucket

Everything was wonderful! Host went above and beyond for us and our group. She was very helpful and generous! We enjoyed our welcome wine as well as all that she did for us. We had no issues during our stay and everything went very smoothly. The linens were great! The decor was adorable and the kitchens were well stocked. The only detail we would pass on to future guests is that it is not super close to downtown. It was a lovely walk when it wasn't raining! Not in the rain, with luggage! It is about a 15-20 min. walk. Also, the pictures don't show that the cottage is on a busy street. There is some road noise, it wasn't bad but it could be during the summer months. Overall, it was well priced for our sized group and we would recommend it to others. Thank you again for your hospitality Michelle, you were wonderful! Kristyn

The Sweetest Treat

On island for a wedding in September, unfortunately there was a tropical storm raining out the entire 3 day weekend. After some horrifying travel experiences, Michelle’s home was a SWEET and comfortable reprieve and charming home for us all to take comfort in. Michelle was so touching and thoughtful, leaving Nantucket themed gifts, a beautifully laid out closet and unpacking situation which made getting ready with 5 girls a dream, and she is the MOST responsive and attentive host, I will be booking this place again!!!!! Everything feels new and carefully looked after, the guest house was perfect for our pregnant couple, and I am just sad we couldn’t utilize the cute yard with the rain. But Michelle left so many amazing Nantucket suggestions in her guest book, thank you SO much!!!!

Perfect for a Girls Getaway!!

Absolutely loved our stay at this adorable Nantucket gem! The house was perfect for our girls' trip — cozy, charming, and just a short walk to town, which made everything so easy and fun. Fabulous return to one of our favorite homes

We had an amazing return stay to one of our favorite homes we have stayed in on the island. Very convenient walk to town and the various bike paths. The layout of the home with the separate cottage makes it very comfortable for everyone. The property is spotless and somehow avoids that "musty" feeling so many island properties have.

FANTASTIC!

This is our 3rd year staying at 17 Quaker and the house keeps getting better and better! Michele is an absolute pleasure to rent from. Communication is perfect, the adorable house and guest house are immaculately clean, well stocked, comfortable and lovely. We had a fantastic week and hope to return next summer!

We had a great stay at this property. We were a bit worried as it’s on a busy street but was not bothered by it at all. We were able to walk down to Main Street and bike to many beaches. The inside was beautiful. Very clean and had everything we could need. The welcome gift was extremely thoughtful. We would definetily recommend this property.

Two Thumbs Up!

We had a wonderful stay on Nantucket with two adults and three teenage girls. The cottage was perfect for our needs, communication with the owner was easy and fast, and the home was stocked with everything we could possibly need. I definitely recommend taking advantage of the recommended pre-arrival food delivery service (amazing, so easy!) and bike rental delivery (the shop dropped off several bikes over our party's multiple arrival days and then picked everything up after we left...all for the cost of one round-trip delivery service). Definitely didn't NEED these options but they sure made our arrival easier. FYI, this wasn't clear to me in the previous reviews, but the home is located on a pretty busy thoroughfare. This initially surprised us, but ended up not being an issue as the home is quiet once inside. It's also so conveniently located -- an easy walk to town or quick ride in the car to the beach. Just know that it's not on a sleepy street if that matters to you.

Perfect Nantucket Home!

Everything was perfect! They provided all the necessities one could need! Not one stone unturned. The ambiance was so comfortable and the little cottage was another plus! The backyard was also so inviting. Great location! Will rent again for sure!

Reunion of 3 sisters & husbands

Wonderful property for 3 couples, 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, comfortable common area with kitchen and dining. Nicely decorated & very clean. Private backyard with seating which allowed for easy bike storage. Great location for biking into town, about a 20 min casual walk into town.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful stay in Michele’s home. The house had everything we needed and were able to walk to and from town easily. Check-In was seamless and we would absolutely rent here again!
