"Nook" är en mysig, möblerad året runt ett sovrum på Higgins Beach, Scarborough, Maine, bara en två minuters promenad till den mest otroliga silver-sandstranden i södra Maine. Enjoyed our stay. Easy walk to the beach, which looks to be more quiet than other beaches. Our living space was clean and comfortable.

Judy was amazing!! Property was clean and had all the amenities needed for an enjoyable week away from home. Property was well taken care of and very clean!!!! Short walk to the beach!

The Nook is a cozy little spot at Higgins Beach. It is a well equipped apt within a 4 minute walk from the ocean and is the perfect size for 1-2 people. This unit is on the ground floor of two story outbuilding at the back of the owner's property. The second floor was also occupied at the time of my stay but it was very quiet and felt private. Judy is a friendly host and was communicative as needed. The unit has a basic kitchen with a small refrigerator and small stove. There is no dishwasher or laundry as stated in the listing, but there is a clothesline to hang out towels and bathing suits after a day at the beach. The bed was quite comfortable. All in all it was a great stay in a perfect location. We love Higgins and hope to be back next summer!

Loved The Nook!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Nook. It was clean and comfortable, including a nice yard to enjoy, the host lives on the property and is very friendly, and you can’t beat the location - one block from the beach. A great spot!

Perfect Stay

I stayed at The Nook for 6 nights, the first night my husband was there and rest of the week I was on my own, working remotely and seeing my son who works in Portland. The location of The Nook perfect in its proximately to Portland, and of course the 2 minute walk to get to the beach just couldn't be better. The Nook had everything I needed, and communication with Judith, the owner, was easy and immediate. I would definitely recommend The Nook to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the cute Higgins Beach neighborhood.

The Nook

My husband and I loved our stay at The Nook, it was very relaxing. Communication was excellent, the apartment was clean, comfortable, kitchen was well equipped to meet our needs. We enjoyed walking to Higgins Market for a cup of coffee in the mornings. The location was great for day trips to Kennebunkport & Portland. The best part-it was quiet so we slept well & the short walk to the beach was fantastic! We look forward to returning.

Another excellent week at Higgins

Once again, The Nook provided perfect accommodations for the week my wife and I enjoyed at Higgins Beach. The Nook was spotless, provided what we needed and is a stone's throw from the beach. As always, it was hard to leave Higgins after a spending an excellent week there.

A great little rental at the best beach

The Nook is a perfect accommodation for a couple or small family. It is quite private, sunny and well kept. It is located a short distance from Higgins Beach, a favorite spot for my wife and I, a placed to which we've returned for nearly three decades.

Cozy apartment

This is a wonderful, clean and well-maintained rental. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay that has a gorgeous beach at the end of the street and is close to lots of attractions. It's a great get-away for 2 or could sleep 3 comfortably. We would not hesitate to rent it again if we visit the area.

Cozy apartment

This wonderful rental was clean, well-maintained and nicely decorated. There is a gorgeous beach at the end of the street and lots of attractions near by. The kitchen has everything you need. It's great for 2 but would also sleep 3 very comfortably. We loved it and hope to go there again!!
