Modern and Best of Both Worlds

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Modern Unit and Best of Both WorldsThe unit is lovely, with modern touches throughout, most notably wine cooler, updated KitchenAid appliances including stackable washer and dryer and well stocked kitchen tools, utensils, glasses, plates and silverware. Dining dishes are all white with a beach motif. Master bedroom on level one with a comfortable king-sized bed and on-suite bathroom. Upstairs another well-appointed second bedroom with queen size bed with its own bathroom, and yet another third bedroom that includes queen sized bed plus two bunk beds. There is plenty of space upstairs with another hall bathroom with shower.Spectacular views of gulf on one side of the unit and then upstairs the lagoon side. Best of both worlds to catch the sunrise with a cup of coffee in the morning and sunset with a glass of your favorite beverage in the evening. Balconies on both sides of unit with room for two deck chairs and table.Unit is within walking distance of Carillon Plaza to catch a lovely breakfast at a local café, as well as other amenities, including work-out facility, spa, coffee spot and wine bar.Management company cooperative and attentive when last minute issue arose around elevators in adjoining building.

2024 Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff was wonderful and accommodating to our needs. They were very friendly and professional. The property leaves a bit to be desired. Every time we have stayed here, there’s issues with the pool or the elevator, or both. A property like this needs all three elevators to function. Having two shut down for maintenance and repairs makes getting up or down a pure hassle. The room itself looks like it had just undergone a renovation, but I’m not sure it was completed. I get that this is an older property, and the price for what you get is reasonable. But don’t expect perfection. It’s far from it. I would recommend, but with the caveat that you’re going to be in the car for an hour if you want to go eat or find entertainment, and the property shows its age.

Month-long stay February 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Toilet in master bath kept running; sometimes the toilet handle wouldn't work so toilet wouldn't flush. Microwave over stove didn't work, so no fan and no light above stove. Trash compactor was gross, so didn't use. No toaster. There was a toaster oven, but it was dirty and gross so didn't use; bought my own toaster. Living room furniture was dirty so put sheets on it to cover dirt. TV in living room too small. TVs is bedrooms didn't work. Place needs serious upgrades. Very disappointed that Pinnacle Port doesn't do recycling; way too much stuff having to be thrown in garbage that could be recycled.

Outdated and rough

A/c unit wasn’t working well at all for first 3 days. After two visits from maintenance it got to about 75/80%. Very outdated condo, no exhaust in kitchen, toaster didn’t work, fridge barely worked. Big hole in ceiling of master, old fire alarm spot.?? For the price it was not worth it at all.

This condo was extremely outdated and I would not stay here again nor recommend to others.

My family has stayed at Pinnacle Port once a year for the past 25 years. We have stayed in various condos located in the Tower and C buildings over the 25 years. The condo (property ID 704338) is extremely outdated. The refrigerator is missing shelving, ice maker does not work. When programming the microwave we had to push in and hold the door to the unit for the touch pad to work. We were unable to get the light and fan working for the range. Numerous pots and pans, kitchen utensils, glassware, etc. but appeared no one had inventoried, removed broken items, or updated these since the 1970s. There was a cutting board build into the Formica counter top that most units at Pinnacle Port removed during renovations back in the 1980s. The metal edge of the cutting board appeared dirty. There were other items such as lamp shades also being stored in the kitchen cabinets. Although functional, the washer and dryer was old. My 26 year old daughter pointed out it was the same washer and dryer we had when she was a little girl. The washer/dryer is located in the kitchen with no method to close it off. Dryer vented directly inside a kitchen cabinet located above the dryer and blows lint all over the dishes and other items stored. Heat from the dryer when running made the temperature in kitchen and living area very hot. Light fixture in the kitchen did not have a cover and found in the kitchen cabinet. All lights, including wall and lamps did not contain light bulbs. We had to take bulbs from some places, move lamps from room to room to ensure we had lighting the day we checked into the unit. All televisions in the unit were extremely outdated, placed on unstable furniture. Large TV in living area in corner on coffee table. Unable to connect game systems. Very small televisions in the bedrooms and outdated. VCR player sitting on top of the television in the living area. Remotes for the televisions were scattered throughout the house and did not have batteries. Some didn't work at all. Unable to find remotes that worked all televisions and had to use one remote between the bedroom and living area. The storage cabinet in the master bath was located above the toilet and unable to open the cabinet door if the lid is in upright position. Mirror over sink placed too low for a man to use. No place to store clothes in master bedroom and closet shelf packed with owner items. Curtains in upstairs bedrooms sheer and did not block light or heat.
