GÀsthuset Àr en del av vÄr stora gÄrd hus. Det Àr ett privat omrÄde pÄ andra vÄningen med tvÄ sovrum, ett vardagsrum / matsal och badrum. Vi har nu ett litet kök med spis / ugn, apt. storlek kylskÄp, handfat, mikrovÄgsugn, kaffebryggare, brödrost. Vi finns i hjÀrtat av Amish land i Lancaster County bort frÄn det liv och rörelse, dÀr du kommer att höra ljudet av hÀst och barnvagnar. En ett rum skolar huset Àr granne och full av aktivitet under skol mÄnader med grann barn. StÀderna samlag och Bird-In-Hand Àr bara 10-15 minuter bort.

The apartment was great! Very comfortable and clean. Location was great for access to the areas we explored. Hosts provided a nice space. Had not noticed the apartment doesn't include a stove but that was fine for us. Had other appliances for our needs. Would stay again for sure!!!

We had the whole upstairs to ourselves & it had all the comforts of home! Nice kitchen, plenty of space, and warm & welcoming decor. It felt like home away from home. Charlotte is always so gracious. This was our second stay & we'll be back next time we're in Lancaster.It's located near all kinds of entertainment & shopping yet nestled in a beautifully scenic country setting. Highly recommend!

Second year in a row i booked Charlotte's place for a mother/daughter weekend. The location and apartment size is perfect for us. It's only 15min to Kitchen Kettle Village and everything else we wanted to do. Charlotte and her husband are very sweet. We look forward to staying with them again next year. When we arrived on our first evening, Charlotte greeted us at the door with a welcoming introduction. She is very lovely and so is her amazing home. When we made it upstairs and got settled, she had provided homemade chocolate-chip cookies for us to enjoy—they were delicious. The apartment was spacious, very clean and beautiful. It had a homey feel to it. What an experience! We plan to come back to the area and will definitely book this apartment from Charlotte and her husband again. So worth it!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The apartment was so cozy & spacious! It was very clean and had all of the supplies furnished that we needed, plus some! The hosts were so kind & welcoming! We loved how it was within 15 minutes of most places we wanted to visit, but yet was set in the country with fields, farms, cows and peacefulness! We would definitely stay again!

Peace and Quiet

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, super clean and very welcoming (my teens had a container of homemade cookies waiting for them). Anything we might have needed for our long weekend was there. Very quiet area and surrounded by farmland. Would happily recommend and go back.

Wonderful Girls’ Trip!!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The home is absolutely beautiful! This truly felt like a home away from home! The surrounding farmlands & neighborhood was picturesque! We could not have found a better place to stay! The property was close to every place that we wanted to visit. We just loved all the scenic views each time we went for a drive. Charlotte’s daughter Shannon was a very sweet host! We enjoyed chatting with her! Just like many other guests, we enjoyed the delicious homemade cookies that were waiting for us when we arrived! We’re hoping to be able to come back again very soon!

Tournament stay

We stayed at Charlotte and Elvin’s amazing home over a tournament weekend for my son’s soccer team. They couldn’t have been more gracious hosts! The home was immaculate. The views were absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait to find another reason to come stay out here!!

As Mennonites, we have lived all but two years of our married life, and raised our four children on the farm, 42 years. Just this past year we built a new house up the road and daughter, son-in-law & 6 children moved on the farm. Elvin will continue to work on the farm with the family. We have been blessed with 4 children, all married and now have 25 grandchildren. Two of our daughters live close by, another daughter lives in Indiana where her husband is administrator of Elnora Bible Institute and our son lives in Alaska working in mission aviation for MARC (mission aviation repair center). We are so thankful to have the farm stay in the family.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This property is a very peaceful, quiet getaway, yet not far to local attractions. Kitchen Kettle in small town of Intercourse is only 15 min drive through rolling farm back country roads. Sight & Sound is 30 min. away where you can see the Bible come alive with professional actors. Also have outlet shopping about half hour away.
