Highly recommend staying here. It was a highlight of our trip to Rotorua. The cabin was perfect for our needs, with easy access to the lake. The grounds were well maintained and the communications with the host seamless.

Perfect, cozy home!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon visit to Rotorua and loved this little home! It was close enough to the main city area but still had a private get away feel! The host is amazing and the home was very clean!! We would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely accomodations with lots of amenities. Only downside was lack of screening on some windows which prevented opening the windows on hot nights and not enough fans to ventilate the bedrooms.

WANT TO COME BACK

We just LOVED this place. GREAT host! GREAT location! GREAT place. We were 2 couples so there was 1 room not used. The place was so clean, kitchen had everything in it. Linens were great GREAT lake view!!! Loved the boat trip. How made the stay just amazing. HIGHLY recommend!

Amazing place!

Everything was very easy. Joe and Cynthia were fantastic hosts- were there if we needed, but gave us privacy. The lodge was really spacious and had everything you needed, including some very kind welcome gifts. The shared outdoor space was incredible with a beautiful pool, hot tub and views!

Top notch facilities

The property is one of a kind. The pool and spa were essential to keeping everyone entertained, and worn out at the end of the day, also great for soothing sore muscles after a day on the skis. We had a great stay, very clean and tidy chalet, all the comforts of home - Great value.

Amazing stay on a peaceful, beautiful property

The perfect spot for our first trip to New Zealand! We decided to spend a couple of nights in Rotorua in between our stays in Auckland and Wellington. Not only was Rotorua a beautiful area, but this property was perfect for our family of four. Cynthia and Joe were welcoming, communicative hosts, the chalet was beautiful and the property was stunning. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. Thank you!!

Beautiful, tranquil, cozy - awesome stay!

This is the cutest house. The setting on the lake inspired many early morning walks to the lake front for pictures of the sunrise, the black swans and other shore birds. The owners have taken a lot of thought and care to make our stay comfortable and peaceful. We were gifted coffee, a bottle of wine, snacks and everything was there to make our trip easy and comfortable. It was a lovely home, in a magical setting that made day trips easy. If you visit the Rotorua area, stay here. You’ll never want to leave.

Moving to Rotorua in July 2017 was an awesome lifestyle change for our family. Having three young kids, 5, 7 and 9, a girl and two boys, it has allowed us to enjoy more outdoor activities like Mountain biking, water activities on the lakes and only a few hours to the ski fields to name just a few.
An absolute change for the better.
