Amazing Condo on Okaloosa Island

The condo was clean and very well equipped with all our needs for the week we stayed. Having an umbrella and two chairs specifically for us on the beach was a rather nice touch. The private pool was awesome and a nice break from the ocean when we needed it. The layout of the condo was excellent. Plenty of room for our family of four.

Wonderful honeymoon

We stayed in this condo on our honeymoon and loved every minute of it. We had no problems and Margi was very attentive to any questions we had. We have always stayed at Summerlin but this is the first time in this condo. It was beautiful, lots of windows and amazing views. I would highly recommend staying here.

First Fort Walton Beach Getaway

The place was awesome. It was everything we hoped for in a condo. It was right on the beach and great access to the beach. The beach service was fun. We also enjoyed the reserved parking spot. We enjoyed the week of vacation and couldn't ask for much more. Thank you very much :)

Amazing Views with East and South Facing Windows

It goes without saying the views of the beach and water from the two patio doors, along with the oversized balcony, is great. However, with it being a corner unit, it has three east facing windows with amazing views. From the living room you can see the beach all the way down to The Island Pier, which is almost two miles away. This unit also has a reserved covered parking spot on the ground floor, which also provided us a space to leave our sandy beach items when not in use. My family loved the location, condo, and unit with no complaints!

Perfect home away from home

This was the most well prepared, clean housing that I have ever had on a family vacation. Everything I needed was there. We dined out and we cooked in our kitchen. Both were great. The beds were pretty comfortable even though I slept on the sofa pull out. It was quiet, no overcrowding on the beach. We did encounter some June grass issues on our shoreline but we took that opportunity to go to crab island and it was a blast. Nancy was so wonderful to work with and even texted to check on us the first evening to make sure our expectations were met. All in all a wonderful vaca spot for families and Nancy made everything so easy. We’ll be back to Summerlin 501!

Fantastic beachfront condo

Overall a great experience. Love waking up and seeing the beach right from your room or livingroom. We spent nights just sitting out in the balcony just listening to the waves. Very convenient for family with kids. We spent the mornings out on the beach and when kids were hungry, we just walked up to our condo. Nice to have your own private parking, don’t have to worry about parking space. Overall we would recommend this olace and would come back.

Absolutely loved this place! I hate to tell how wonderful it was (sorta want to keep it a secret), but it was so relaxing. Great balcony, included beach service, and pretty much everything you need for a perfect vacation! ❤️

5-Star Vacation

Summerlin Unit 501 is simply spectacular! Beautiful and comfortable in every aspect from the parking lot, to the front door, to the pristine beach only steps away. Quiet area but close enough to drive to anything you want or need. Highly recommend!

Low density property in quiet location, owners great to work with

The owners were responsive and great to work with. Things I like about Summerlin: Low density, fewer units. Location is great - property is on the end of the island with smaller properties and is less crowded - the beach is quiet and uncrowded compared to the other end of Okaloosa. The properties next door were also very small with few people using the beach, a plus. This particular unit is an end unit so it has more windows, natural light and views. The terrace was spacious. This unit has an updated master bath. The pool, elevator, parking area, boardwalk and all common areas were clean and well maintained. Covered parking space was included. Plenty of parking in September when I went, only a handful of vehicles there. Beach service inculded (2 chairs and 1 umbrella). Stewby's Seafood Shanty is right down the street, and Publix is only about 1 mile away.

Great place with an incredible view!

We had a wonderful time staying here for our first anniversary. Check in and check out was smooth from beginning to end. The condo was very clean and inviting. The best part - the view from the balcony, living room, bedroom, AND kitchen can't be beat. Beautiful place. I'd recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Exactly as described and pictured

First time at okaloosa island, have stayed in Destin, love the more settled, not so crowded area. Also close enough to anything you would want to eat. The fishing pier is in seeing distance, beach chairs ready every morning. The condo was very clean and ready to unpack and relax for the week. Check in process was easy, loved the covered parking garage. Would definitely recommend. Also love that the living room and master bedroom leads out to the balcony with an awesome view. Many condos have pics that are deceiving to the current condition of the furniture, this one was as if the pics were taken the day we got there. 10 out of 10

Family Vacation

Our family really enjoyed the property, easy access to the beach, complimentary umbrella and 2 chairs were great to have, there were extra beach chairs and body boards as well in the guest bedroom closet. Would definitely book here again.

Perfect little spot!

We completely enjoyed our stay at Summerlin. Beach access was perfect. Not very crowded. Found some great shells and saw dolphins in the morning. Amazing balcony view. Wonderful communication from the owner. The perfect little spot! We are already talking about coming back!

Highly recommended clean condo with lots of space

We have stayed in many condo rentals and this one is at the top of the list. It felt more like a home with plenty of room. The large kitchen area was my favorite! The huge balcony with access from two areas plus our own garage parking area was also awesome especially when it rained! If you are looking for a wonderful condo in this area, I definitely recommend!

Really clean, bright unit

Great Light, very bright unit. Amazing view. Nice linens and comfortable bed. Very responsive owner but cleabers were a bit pushy in the check out time.. It would have been nice if an extra roll of tp was available. A few ziplock bags maybe. It left us with a slightly cold feeling. But overall, great stay.
