Denna 2-sovrum, 1-badrums enstaka 925 kvadratfot stuga i det vackra området Fox Farm erbjuder lugnt bergsuppehåll och enkel tillgång till allt som Big Bear har att erbjuda, bara några minuter till shopping, restauranger, sjö, vandring, 2 1/2 miles till skidbackar och en halv mil från Snow Play. Kabinets mitten av århundradets design innehåller en öppen planlösning för vardagsrum och kök, ett välvt tak med mycket naturligt ljus, ett loftområde och ett stort däck komplett med jacuzzi, grill, matbord och uteservering. Vart och ett av de två sovrummen har en dubbelsäng och loftet innehåller en futonmadrass för att sova och leka, vardagsrummet har en gaspanna, och det finns en stapelbar tvättmaskin / torktumlare i badet. Kabinen har genomgått nyligen renovering med ny färg, nya trägolv och inredning. Sängarna har båda nya madrasser som är ganska fasta, speciellt när du sitter eller ligger på dem, men de är sammansatta med minneskum / gelteknik så att de gradvis mjuknar och mögel runt kroppen (men var medveten om att några gäster har hittade madrassen är för fast så om du inte gillar för en madrass, kanske du inte gillar). Fullt utrustat kök, alla sängkläder och handdukar, och gratis Wi-Fi. Kom och njut av denna härliga reträtt i det vackra området Big Bear.

Adorable cabin!!

What an adorable cabin in Big Bear! Tucked away in a little cul-de-sac and close to skiing and downtown. Our family loved relaxing here with the cozy fire after a day at the mountain. Paula was amazing and very responsive to all my emails. We can’t wait to go back!

Great cabin

Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Tons of snow and we didn't have to leave for the kiddos to play, they could play right in the back of the cabin. Only issue was there was a lot of dog hair on the area rug and we found a few sunflower seeds on the floor (we have a baby who crawls). But great location, cute little cabin. Would stay there again!

4peat - we love this place!

This is our 4th time staying here. Place is always clean, convenient to grocery shopping, drugstore, and Snow Summit, along with plenty of restaurants and ski rental shops in the area. Kitchen is easy to use (and is gas, which we prefer), and front room is very family friendly (big TV with good streaming channels, with board games and the like nestled underneath). Very cozy, and there is a reason that we are a repeat customer!

Great Cabin

We loved this cabin. Lots of natural light in the living room, kitchen and dining room area. Vaulted ceiling in the main section of the cabin. The cabin was clean and well maintained. As mentioned in the description the mattresses are pretty firm, so plan accordingly. The owner, Paula was very nice. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Amazing Weekend

My husband, daughter, and I had an absolutely amazing time. Paula was so quick to respond to messages and gave all the information needed for our trip. The cabin was the perfect size, was clean, and had everything we needed. The backyard was absolutely amazing and perfect for sledding. We thought about going to the tubing park down the street, but the backyard was so much more fun! So many sleds to chose from and the hills were a blast. Perfect location! We will definitely be back!

Cozy, sweet spot!

I am so happy we chose to stay here-- it was so cozy, very clean, close to town/markets/restaurants and had a perfect yard for my kids to play in the snow. The host gave me all the information needed, up front and it was very easy. If you are arriving at night, it may be hard to locate because the neighborhood was dark-- but GPS was fine, we just had to double-check the picture to make sure we were at the correct house. There were some great board games we played as a family-- Big Bear Monopoly and Oregon Trail board game (which was AWESOME! and we were happy to share Oregon Trail with our kids..) The towels were soft, there was a washer/dryer indoors (used dryers for our gloves) . The beds were firm, but did soften as the description said-- but my husband is a tall guy, and of course our little one wanted to sleep with us, so we were not comfortable in a queen-- but if it's a couple in one bed, you will be fine. :) Kitchen was clean and had all utensils/cookware needed. If you are staying in the summer, there was a lovely patio off the dining area/kitchen that seems lovely to use.

Great for the price.

This place has some shortcomings but for the location and the price it was for sure worth it. Both beds were a very firm mattress and when I say firm I mean firm. I didn’t think I was going to be able to sleep in it but I ended up sleeping fine. They only complaint I had was they have a Nest thermostat which means it can be controlled by the owner remotely. When we arrived it was 50 degrees inside and when it was turned up to 70 it tells you how long it will take to get there. It was going to take 2.5 hours to get to 70 and we arrived at night. Needless to say the first night I slept in heavy clothes. It would have been nice for the thermostats to have been turned up to a reasonable temperature before we arrived. The fireplace worked well to dry our wet ski clothes. Everything else worked great and again for the location close to big bear and snow summit, for the price this place was well worth it.

Perfect getaway cabin

This cabin resides in a corner of the forest in Big Bear. Conveniently located on a cul-de-sac as well. No noise, just peace and quiet. I highly recommend this place, it was perfect. We will defiantly return again for a 4th visit. :)

Beautiful Home

We loved this house. Great location in beautiful area. We had a problem with the heat, but the owner was very prompt with response and very apologetic. She handled it like a pro. We would love to come back and stay there again.

Cute Little Cabin!!

This cabin was great and had everything we needed. In a nice quiet neighborhood with beautiful views. Lots of places close by to visit and shop. Comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully equipped. Overall a great stay and we would stay here again.

Wonderful stay, as usual!

This is the 3rd (possibly 4th) time we’ve stayed here and it would have been more if it hadn’t been for the COVID lockdowns. The house is always clean, cozy and convenient (lots of cooking implements!) and the owner is extremely easy to reach. She really cares about whether you enjoy your stay and always gives us a heads up about weather conditions requiring chains. It is about a 5-8 min. drive to the Vons and about a 2 min. drive to snow play. Also quite close to Bear Mountain/Snow Summit. Really cannot say enough good things about our stays over the years here!

Fun ski weekend

We stayed at the property for the weekend to go skiing with my 3 kids. The neighborhood is very quiet and it is easy to get to stores and the ski resorts. My kids especially liked having access to Netflix and Big Bear-o-poly. The shower could use an update (not great for tall folks) but the bathroom was very clean.

Great Snow Retreat

Very well laid out and accommodating to all of our needs. Great communication with the Paula. Well stocked house with a great central location. Would definitely stay again. The family had a wonderful winter experience.

Our home in Big Bear

We just had the most wonderful weekend we've ever had. The cabin is absolutely stunning and the host is incredible. I almost don't want to make a rave review of this place so we won't have to share it with anyone else, ha!! Location is perfect, it's close to everything but also has that quiet mountain feel because the cabin was surrounded by towering pine trees. The house is fully equipped and designed with exquisite taste + comfort and function. We felt right at home. Many thanks to Paula who is the most wonderful, accommodating, and caring host ever. We will definitely be coming back. My 6-year old declared, "It's our home in Big Bear!"

Fun getaway

Great stay. Everything was as advertised. Quiet neighborhood and cabin was completely equipped. Paula provided detailed information which made the stay problem free. The cabin was clean and comfortable for the 2 of us. Didn’t really do any cooking but it was clear all the needed items were there to fix meals. If I could make 1 suggestion it would be to consider replacing the shower/tub stall. It was clean but a little tired from years of use. Not a deal breaker as we will be back again.

Amazing weekend

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this cabin. We love the quietness of the neighborhood. There are tons of trees and you are not cramped up to other neighbors. I recommend this cabin to anyone wanting some peace and quiet.

Cabin review

Paula was absolutely amazing and the cabin is BEAUTIFUL!!! We will definitely be coming back in the winter. The only complaint I had was it had no A/C so the cabin got up to 92 degrees during the day. However, it was nice and cool in the middle of the night to sleep!

Great owner and beautiful property

We had a great time at the property, but not just that the owner Paula went out of the way and adjusted our travel dates due to a snow storm warning without charging any fees whatsoever. She had to pull some strings to make that happen but she did it. We so appreciated the property, it was so fun for the kids with all the snow play gear at the property.

Beautiful cabin with easy access to Big Bear and Snow Summit

My partner and I had a great time staying at the cabin. It is spacious, has a fully stocked kitchen and is very close to the mountain. I would definitely stay there again

We are a family of four with two young boys living in San Diego. We have purchased this home as a mountain retreat for our family so that our boys can experience four seasons each year, and we are excited to share it with you as well.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We fell in love with this wonderful mid- century cabin as soon as we saw it. It has beautiful lines and proportions, tons of natural light especially in the late afternoon when the sun might streams into the house through the windows above the double doors. It needed some remodeling and upgrades, which have now been completed, in order for it to reach its potential, and our sons love the loft. It is located in a cul-de-sac, on a relatively large lot full of beautiful pine trees in a very quiet, lovely neighborhood.
