Denna glada andstuga är den perfekta platsen att koppla av och njuta av livet på stranden. Fyllt med naturligt ljus och stora fönster är det viktigaste vardagsrummet ett bra ställe att koppla av med vänner och familj. Hemmet är mycket privat med skyddande träd på alla sidor. Det moderna köket har allt du behöver för att laga dina favoritmåltider. Den visade verandan är en perfekt plats att njuta av måltider eller ditt favoritglas vin. Mittnivån har 3 sovrum och ett vardagsrum. Det stora sovrummet har en dubbelsäng och privat badrum och tillgång till bakdäck för den avkopplande morgonkoppen kaffe. Det andra sovrummet har en dubbelsäng och tillgång till bakdäck. Det tredje sovrummet erbjuder en tvilling över full våningssäng. Plattskärms-TV ligger i vardagsrummet och vardagsrummet. Overall, comfortable, spacious, charming beach home. Great large kitchen well-stocked for preparing meals with very nice added touches (e.g., chilled wine glasses). Large living and ding rooms for relaxing after a day at the beach. Comfortable beds, nice beach decor, and plenty of decks and screened-in porch. Peaceful neighborhood and a short walk from the beach. Wonderful beach stay.

Second time staying was as good as the first

We last stayed here 2 years ago and our return trip this year was just as good. The house is clean and well stocked. The location is the best part of the house. It is super quiet and away from the over crowded areas. Very easy walk to the beach.

The house is clean inside although couch and chairs in living room were not at all comfortable. Beds very comfortable! Outside needs a heavy duty pressure wash. All outside furniture covered with mold and mildew, couldn’t sit anywhere. Also, so many spiders, webs & nests all over the outside. We are all over 70 so should not have rented a place with so many steps, but that’s on me!

Wanted more time!

Loved this house and the neighborhood. The uniqueness of the coastal trees surrounding the houses was my favorite part. Great house, easy walk to the beach. All the things we needed in the kitchen, rooms, etc. was right there. Host was quick to respond to a question we had after checking in.

Wonderful home and vacation

This home is delightful and the neighborhood is lovely and we had a wonderful family vacation. The private beach is absolutely fantastic and the walk to it was brief and delightful with a landscaped trail. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

Excellent stay in Outer Banks

We had a wonderful time in the Outer Banks and really enjoyed Carri's house. The booking and follow up were easy as the owner is very responsive and helpful. The house is very comfortable in a great location. It has a well stocked kitchen so cooking is a breeze. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

a week of quiet

We enjoyed a week of quiet days in Duck--walking on deserted beaches, eating sea food and generally taking it easy. Very enjoyable and a well maintained and cosy house.

Sanctuary with our dogs

We enjoyed this spacious beach retreat with our 2 dogs. I met up with 2 longtime friends for a week of beach relaxation and chance for us to catch up. It was a bonus to be able to bring our pets instead of having to board them. The place was clean and very spacious with more decks and outdoor space than we ever could have asked for.

Best Beach Vacation Ever!

My husband and our two dogs spent a week at Carri’s lovely home! It was our best beach vacation ever! The weather was perfect, the house was perfect & the short walk to the beach was easy! The house had everything that we needed & the kitchen was well-stocked with everything I needed to cook for the week.

Awesome Thanksgiving getaway

My brother met up with my husband and me (and our dogs) at this gorgeous, spacious house for the Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Thanksgiving meal, and they even put out the holiday placemats for us. The house had enough room for us to spread out, we were minutes from the beach (took us a second to figure out the way…nature trails wee a bit confounding), and ten minutes from the Duck town center for donuts and shopping. It was a fantastic, lazy, blustery beach filled weekend with 80’s movies on tv and good wine. Carri is a terrific host.

A perfect relaxing weekend

A couple of childhood friends, now in our 50s, just wanted to spend some time catching up. The house was perfect, more than enough room for the two of us, near the beach while still tucked away in the trees. We were close to the beach as well as a number of nature preserves. We had a wonderful, relaxing time.

Lovely, quiet place near the beach

Really happy with this location. In a very quiet cul de sac with trees that provided nice shade. Plenty of room in the house with nice sized bedrooms and open plan living/kitchen area. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities. Comfortable lounge area with large tv. Easy walk to the beach (once you know the shortcut) and I liked that it was near a more private beach so not as busy as nearby beaches in Kitty Hawk or Kill Devil Hills. The nearest beach access bridge was closed but easy enough to find the next one over. Only complaint is that a lot of the lights inside weren’t working either because bulbs missing or were burnt out. Also lots of cobwebs inside the house that could use some cleaning. Overall great place but slightly overpriced for what you get.
