Well thought out and beautifully remodeled

Monica and her husband did an absolutely incredible job creating a very comfortable and well endowed setting. Everything you need is there. Xlint location. Love being near 2ns st and the ocean. Definitely a great find.

Adorable Cottage in a Great Neighborhood!!

As an owner of two vacation rentals, this place exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely adorable and the owners thought of everything to make this home beautiful and comfortable. Our family of four with two teenagers were very comfortable in the 2 BR 2 BA home. The kids loved the built in beds. The location could not have been better for us. We could walk to two beaches, restaurants, coffee shops, and shops. There were several days we did not even get in our car. We had great meals at Taco Surf and George's and we loved going paddle boarding in the bay and through the canals in Naples. Even though we had been to Long Beach before, we didn't know about this neighborhood and were amazed to be a part of such a warm community. The neighbors and shops could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The owner told us that parking might be difficult on the weekends, but the furthest we parked from the home was less than a block away. We had great meals at Taco Surf and George's and we loved going paddle boarding in the bay and through the canals in Naples. The worst thing was leaving - we definitely want to come back! It is our dream house and dream neighborhood. Thank you so much for having us!

Absolutely beautiful house

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with renting a property. Monica was absolutely wonderful and the house was modern, perfectly clean, fully updated and fully appointed. The kitchen had literally everything you could need and the house is ideally located 2 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes to 2nd street. Absolutely wonderful!

This was the best experience we have ever had with using vrbo. The home and it’s location is outstanding. Tastefully remodeled with comfortable furnishings. The owner was most helpful with checking and answering our questions upon arrival.

Enjoyed our stay, love Belmobt Shore

Another wonderful stay in Belmont Shore. From biking, sailing, paddle boarding to walking on the beach, this is just a lovely place to visit. There is so much to do and so many great restaurants within walking distance. The home is ideally located to take advantage of all Belmont Shore has to offer. Working with the owner, Monica, is always a pleasure and the home is terrific. A great place to relax and enjoy life at the beach.

Loved our stay

This was our second stay in this lovely home. Still just a beautiful place and a good location. Much effort has been put into making this a comfortable spot to vacation. We enjoy sailing, paddle boarding, biking, walking and just chill time on the beach. Belmont Shore has all of this and more. There are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance and we even did our grocery shopping by bike. No need to drive anywhere. The whole visit could not have been smoother. Monica is just wonderful to work with. Highly recommend both this home and the Belmont Shore community.

We loved our stay. Monica was a great hostess. The home had everything we needed. Very bright and sunny and clean. Would highly recommend this home.

Clean, new, comfortable, great location, we will rent again.

This home was ideal for our family vacation. We like the single story so my parents could join us without having to go up stairs. The owners have created a beautiful beach home. Bright and airy. Air conditioning was great for the unusual warm days we had while in Long Beach. The removation of the home is great. Bathrooms and kitchens all new. Beds are very comfortable and the sheets new and comfy. We walked to the bay, beach and Second Street each day. Parking was not a problem except for on the weekend and even then it was an extra ride around the block and a space always opened up. Thank you for the great home.

Loved our stay at this beautiful home

We just returned from a stay at this cute house. Monica was super easy to work with. Check in was a breeze. I have stayed in several vacation rentals and this was by far one of my favorites. The house was so cute. You can tell they put a lot of love into remodeling the home. Loved how it was decorated. So comfortable. We were out and about daily but never had any problem finding parking. Most times we were able yo park in front of the house. Only once did we have to park on a different street. I would highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful cottage in a fantastic location

We stayed here for a month as we were awaiting our remodel to be finished. My wife and I grew up in the Belmont Shore/ Naples area of Long Beach and have moved back and we really loved getting back to our "roots". The Beach Cottage was completely remodeled and looked and felt as if it was straight out of a Coastal Living or Sunset Magazine article. Beautiful furnishings, finishes and window coverings. Wonderful amenities with nice bedrooms, bathrooms and a large kitchen great for gathering. We loved hanging out on the front patio in the late afternoon and watching the kite surfers and chatting with the super nice neighbors. The best thing of all is that it's about a 2 minute walk to the south to the beach at Bayshore or the same walk time to the north for all the awesome shops and restaurants of 2nd St. We didn't want to leave!

Perfect location, gorgeous house.

We came to Los Angeles to spend some quality time with grandpa who is moving overseas. The house was perfect for family dinners, walks to the beach and close to local restaurants and shops. My children loved the built in bunk beds and enjoyed the front porch for bubble blowing and breakfast. The house has recently been remodeled and it's beautiful . Monica was helpful and gracious when I needed to modify my stay by one day at the end of our trip. Over all we could not be more pleased. I plan to return again when the Seattle rain becomes unbearable next fall!

Highly recommend this gorgeous cottage in Belmont Shore!

This cottage home was absolutely gorgeous! It was immaculate and a lot of thought had obviously gone into making our stay as pleasant as possible. The neighborhood was terrific and the neighbors kind and friendly (adored next door doggie neighbor Maverick!). It is located close and within easy walking distance to the beaches, the bay and the many restaurants and shops located on 2nd street. We had wonderful strolls along the bay and along the Long Beach bike and pedestrian path. Even got to enjoy a "Moonlight Movie on the Beach", which was just wonderfully fun! We enjoyed paddle boarding in the bay and around Naples. Also got in some wonderful beach time. The cottage is so comfortable and inviting, we lazily just enjoyed hanging out there (perhaps a bit too much!) while the ocean breeze flowed through the front patio doors. Our daughter adored the loft bed and made it her personal cocooning spot. The cottage is fully stocked with all the necessary amenities (much more than we have often found at other rentals) and everything was of such impressively high quality. This is not just any rental, it is a lovely home. We were told, up front, that parking could be difficult, as is often the case in beach communities. However, we were always able to find parking within the block of the cottage, on the few occasions when we actually felt the need to drive somewhere. The owners (Monica) went to great lengths and showed us such immense kindness and compassion to accommodate us with regards to a personal situation that arose during our stay (an unexpected need to leave to attend a funeral). Truly an unexpected level of kindness and generosity that we were immensely grateful for. This rental far exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Only complaint? The beautiful pictures on VRBO simply do not do it justice. It is so much lovelier in person! Thank you, so very much, Monica, for your kindness and all you did for us during our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful and amazing beach cottage with us!
