Great location, very comfortable cottage, well stocked, quiet beach area, convenient to everything, good communication with host. Nice deck chairs. Deck area is private from other unit. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay

Convenience to the beach is hard to beat. Unit is very comfortable with everything you need for a worry free stay. Second time and will book again in the future.

Amazing Location!

We had such an amazing time. The cottage is located in the perfect location - close to everything! Everything needed was provided and such a bonus to have a washer and dryer. We enjoyed being able to walk on the beach as well as renting a golf cart during our stay and using it to drive into town. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect beach getaway

Walk a few steps to the sand and enjoy!! Well-equipped kitchen; beach towels, too! Place your chairs and walk up and down the shore or a quick hop to your bathroom—-all within feet!

Beautiful Beach View

We had a very nice stay. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and we had a lot of rain all week but the location is close to shopping and great bars and restaurants. My other half enjoyed fishing and the location was perfect! Cute duplex with everything you could need for the week! Couldn’t get much closer to the beach and the pet gate was perfect to keep them on our patio!

Another fantastic stay

This is our third visit to Amelia Island and this property. It is a highlight of the year. Everything you need and some of the most incredible views. Jane was fabulous and responsive. Love this place.

Beach Getaway

The location is located in a great spot on Fernandina Beach. The view is incredible from the deck and we enjoyed our sunsets each evening. Will come back again when we visit Amelia Island.

Fantastic Cottage

We stayed at the cottage from June 22 through the 29th. The Cottage is a little beach front gem. It has all the amenities that you need. The owner was very kind and communicative. The key thing about this little cottage is Location! Location!Location! On the beach near town and parks, and several restaurants. If asked what my favorite thing about the cottage was that every morning I would go out on the back deck with my cup of coffee and watch the sun rise over the ocean. We definitely hope to be back.

AWESOME LOCATION!!!

Loved the location of this duplex!! The views from the back deck were amazing!! The master bedroom was a little odd to us with the queen bed being pushed against the wall. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make any meals we wanted. The cabinets were a little high & hard to reach for us short people, so we had to sit our food on the counters. We did have a couple problems throughout our stay, 1.) Had a hiccup with the TV in the first couple days of stay, we couldn't get any channel to play. Called Jan & tried everything under the sun & it didn't work. My husband kept fooling with it and finally got it to work, don't ask how, I don't know. 2.) On the next to the last day, we had a bout with the front door not wanting to unlock even though it was telling us it was unlocked. Called Jan to see what could we do and she first told me she would have to call me back in about 30 minutes because she had to get her phone ( I called the number that was on the rental agreement ) and I told her we couldn't do that & explained to her what was going on with the door and she told us to ask our neighbor if we could borrow their back door key to see if it would open ours but of course, it didn't, they were different. She also gave me her master code, but it didn't work either. Keep keying in door code til it finally let us in after about 30 minutes. Maybe the batteries were getting low, who knows?? All in all, we did love our time there & will definitely be back soon.

Great week at this oceanfront location

Enjoyed this property. Ideal location, right on the beach and close to downtown. Cozy, loved the back deck for evening cocktails, relaxing and reading.

Beach Time!!

Very cozy and cute cottage right on the beach! We couldn't have asked for a better spot to stay. Only 5 minutes to downtown and plenty of great restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Beach Vacation

The house was right by the beach as described. I did wish there was a dishwasher though. It was so close it was perfect. I have so many perfect pictures of the sunrise and sunsets. Everything was just how it was described. Perfect for sun and relaxation.

Wonderful Cottage! Ah-mazing location!

Look no further! One of the very best experiences 
 ever! The cottage location cannot be beat! It is clean, beds are cozy, backyard view is the BEACH

Perfect stay

Wonderful time! Very comfortable furniture, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom—towels and beach towels—nicely decorated. Wonderful back porch. Excellent washer and dryer. We were there for 2weeks and enjoyed every minute.

Perfect getaway

Loved this beach house!!!

Stayed at the beach house during Labor Day week. Beach was quiet despite the holiday. Beach house was so cute and had amazing views! You can sit in the living room and watch the ocean! Located in a residential area that is quiet with little traffic. Owner responded quickly when we had questions. I will be definitely back next year !

First time renters!

When we arrived door code would not work. Called and given master code still didn't work. It was about 30 min. Zbefore we got in. Had a wonderful week. Arrived home and received a charge of $250 for smoking and not cleaning out fridge. We cleaned out fridge and freezer. There sure wasn't any smoking in the house we had 3 year old twins. I have stayed in fernandina for 23 years on vacation and never had a problem. I relayed this to the owner who had no consideration for the problem!!! Never again.

We have stayed here for years - it was our home away from home! We loved the easy beachfront access. Best shark teeth and long flat clean beach. The 93 restaurants, farmers market, and the charming downtown are close by. Fort Clinch is less than a mile. This duplex cottage is clean, neat and all you need for a great stay!
