Kiahuna Plantation Condo - så nära stranden!

Vackra Kiahuna-plantage ligger på den världsberömda Poipu-stranden. Njut av att promenera genom 35 tunnland tropiskt paradis med trädgårdar med graciösa orkidéer och ovanlig kaktus. Byggnaderna är plantager med stilluckor i fönster och takfläktar som cirkulerar havbrisen genom hela lägenheten.

Vår lägenhet, # 167 belägen i byggnad 26, är en bottenvåning, slutet enhet med delvis havsutsikt och en semi-privat Lanai, mindre än en minuts promenad till havet! Njut av en avslappnad atmosfär när du äter middag eller grillar middag på en av de två grillarna vid lagunen bara några steg bort. Strandstugan, som levererar handdukar, stolar och snorkelutrustning att hyra är också bara en minuts promenad från lägenheten. Det finns flera golfbanor och många restauranger inom gångavstånd. När vi bokat ger vi tillgång till vårt infopaket om lägenheten, Kiahuna och Kauai.

Vi är medlemmar i Poipu Beach Athletic Club. Våra gäster har full tillgång till klubben inklusive pool med rutschkana, tennisbanor och träningsutrustning utan extra kostnad!

Vi håller lägenheten uppdaterad! Vår senaste ombyggnad under 2018 och 2019 inkluderar uppdatering av dusch, kakelgolv, sovrumsmatta och alla nya möbler för vardagsrum och matsal. Små apparater byts ut årligen eller vid behov.

Kauai är en naturälskares dröm! Spouting Horn är ett naturfenomen bara 2 km från Kiahuna Plantation. Njut av en naturskön uppför Waimea Canyon och njut av den vidsträckta utsikten över Na Pali-kusten. Det finns många underbara platser att snorkla på ön, inklusive precis framför orten. Surfing, boogie boarding och body surfing finns också där. Vandringsleder är många på ön också. Heritage Trail ligger precis framför Kiahuna. Följ den norrut till Hyatt där du bara kan njuta av en lugn promenad över klippiga sanddyner. Det är också ett utmärkt ställe att valskåda december-april.

Great stay!

Ray and Mary’s place was fantastic! The location in the complex was an easy walk to the beach. About as close as you could get without being in one of the oceanfront units. We walked around the point each night to watch the sunset over the ocean. Beach was calm enough to swim in the ocean in February. Unit was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay! Fantastic cross breezes kept everything the perfect temperature. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Stay!

This property itself is beautiful as well as the surrounding grounds! It is so close to the beach which is so convenient and a short walk there from the condo. We loved the beautiful coastal decor and the place was stocked with everything you need for the beach. We loved our stay here in Kauai and would definitely recommend to others and stay here again in the future!

Great stay

We had a great stay in Mary’s condo. The no a/c was a non issue (stayed in February). All the windows are without glass so you get constant breezes. The kitchen had everything we needed except salt and pepper. The fridge had an ice maker which was great. My kids said the sofa bed was comfortable and the king bed was comfy as well.Loved the location close to the beach. The condo also had all the necessary beach equipment like chairs umbrellas etc. We drove across the street to the pool twice and the kids enjoyed the little slide. Overall would recommend and stay again (not in the summer tho-I’d need a/c). But loved the overall property of the Kiahuna .

Loved the location

Such a great spot for our getaway to Kauai. We loved being so close to the beach so we could walk and enjoy our morning coffee listening to the waves. Being across the street from shopping and dining made it an easy to walk for anything needed.

Kauai Paradise

We have stayed in this Kiahuna Plantation unit a couple times previously, so we knew we wanted to stay in it again. This unit is in a prime location, with a beautiful view from the ground level lanai, very short walk to the beach (1-2 minutes, tops), and close to everything in Poipu, Kukui'ula and Koloa. The layout and furniture are wonderful, and the kitchen is well stocked with small appliances, dishes, mixing bowls, baking dishes, etc. It is always so relaxing! And the new key code locks are great - you no longer need to worry about taking your key card with you.

Pleasant Unit for a Couple

We have stayed at this unit twice and it suited our needs. It’s nothing fancy, but very comfortable. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and communicated with us immediately. There is no air conditioning, but the ceiling fans were all we needed with the breezes. We do not visit Kauai during the summer, so the three floor fans might be needed then.

Sept 2024 Trip

Great location to access beach, restaurants, shopping town and extracurricular activities ( Zipline ATV's Helicopter rides, boat tours). Property and condo unit are clean and well taken care off. Owners and property managers were extremely easy and great to work with. Enjoyed easy beach access, very nice common area, chaise longue chairs provided. Only downside was parking, most days it was easy to park close to the condo / building, couple of times spots were were full but it was a short walk. Would have provided five stars overall, however,during our stay it was extremely hot and humid for that time of the year, unit does not have AC, you rely on the cross breeze via fans & louvered windows. when gone you need to lock the patio doors so no cross ventilation, it was a little warm when returning. At night it was very comfortable to sleep, did not get hot during the night, however, you sometimes hear any late night vacationers returning to their condos. Overall I definitely would recommend the unit and property. Cheers!

Honeymoon in Poipu

Wonderful stay at Kiahuna Plantation. Short walk to the beach and great location close to local shops and eateries. Free parking and access to a guest laundry room was an added bonus!

Great condo at Kiahuna Plantation

This is a lovely unit with a great location. The owners and manager were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating! The lanai opened up to a semi private grassy area, and is very close to the beach. We will definitely reserve this until when we return.

Relaxing time

The location of the unit was wonderful. Easy access to the beach. The breeze that flowed through the unit thorughout the day and night made the stay most enjoyable and comfortable. We would love to return to this unit again.

Very comfortable

Very comfortable, nice location, close enough to beach and BBQ. Could get a little noisy with neighbors conversing outside. But we had all windows open, so understandable. Recommend one more Tommy Bahama beach chair. Very happy with our stay.

Absolute Paradise!

This place was amazing! We had a wonderful time. This place was clean and very comfortable. It was just as fabulous as Mary had said it would be. It was so close to the ocean. You could sit on the lanai and hear the ocean waves, which I did every morning enjoying my cup of coffee. It even had beach chairs and a beach umbrella that came in very handy. It was just a wonderful trip, I would definitely rebook here again, and I will recommend this place. Mary was so accommodating with all of our needs. I really can't say enough nice things about this place and of the owners. Thank you, Mary, for everything! Linda and Steve

Great Retreat

Just the right balance of hikes along the shore and restaurants all start within a short walk from the front door. Short drives to Koloa for busy shopping and groceries. National Botanical Garden up the road and on-site cactus garden are wonderful. Wish there was a vegetable peeler. We ate at the condo almost every night.

Great location to get to the beach and for easy parking. It could use a bit of updating, but since families book this unit for easy access to the beach with children, it’s understandable not to overdo any remodeling. We will book this unit again because we have a grandchild.

Exceeded expectations!

This was our 4th visit to Kiahuna and by far our best yet. The condo is SO close to the beach and fully equipped with chairs, boogie boards, all you need for the beach. The condo itself is so nicely furnished and comfortable. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you need for cooking. Extra perk of being on the ground floor. Highly, highly recommend this condo. We cannot wait to come back! The bed is also very comfy, as well as the couch bed. I cannot say enough great things about this unit. Mahalo for the memories and opening your home away from home to us!

We are a family of four originally from the east coast and have been living in the Seattle area since 2002.

We love the vintage feel of Kiahuna, the sounds of the ocean that we hear from the condo, the privacy of the lanai, the smell of the tropical flowers and the amazing grounds and gardens. It is a peaceful, special place that our family has enjoyed coming to every year for almost 20 years.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The closeness to the beach! Early morning walks in either direction provide expansive views of the ocean as well as sea turtles swimming in the surf, dolphins and whales (seasonally). The preserved ancient sacred grounds add to the unique feel of this very special island.
