Great place with an excellent location!

Our family stayed here for over a week on our Disney vacation. The property is roomy and nicely appointed with its own pool with a very short drive to everything you need. The community center was an added bonus and we spent some time there on days in between our park visits. We will definitely be back!

Family Vacation

Wonderful home. Everything was clean and exactly as the listing stated. Robert reached out to us beforehand and was very helpful and easily accessible during our stay. The location is wonderful and so close to all of the Disney parks. Will definitely stay here again!

A delicious winter retreat, a touch of amusement on the side, served on a plate in need of TLC

Great location-close to all the major attractions. Story Lake amenities are well planned, cared for and a definite highlight for families. The rental space was just as pictured. The bed & bathrooms actually appeared larger in person! The owner, Robert, was prompt and readily available via phone (He does not live nearby). Unfortunately issues became evident as soon as we walked in the door. All floors were filthy. dirt swept out into the lania, more dirt mopped into the corners, actual hair balls on the stairs and carpeting. Baseboards so coated with dirt they appeared fuzzy. Robert had 2 new crews cleaning on day 1 & 2 of our stay. We had more issues that first week, a frozen garbage disposal, two blocked drains, no kitchen rags or towels, no face clothes or face/hand towels. One call to Robert and all was made right, he even gave us a few extra towels. The kitchen has loads of utensils and the dishware is very nice, with a service for 20! I did however ask Robert if he had an inventory list because I was concerned that some items may be missing! There are many 20soup/cereal bowls in the set but zero bowls for making a salad, mixing up pancake batter or serving veggies. All the pots were small (soup or mac'n cheese size) nothing large enough to boil pasta etc. All small fry pans, the largest one just fits 2 grilled cheeses sandwiches. As we rented this space for 7+ weeks we likely cooked more than most guests, so maybe our expectations were not realistic. Robert did not have a list of "on site' items so he recommended we purchase our own necessities. A screen in the lanai came down in a windstorm, repairs were again arranged quickly. The downed screen was replaced. but the two with holes and the 4 holding on by 2 of the 4 sides were left as is, per Robert's instructions. The yard/lanai pool was clean and Robert gifted us with pool heat in order to offer us the best experience possible. Some days we had a cold pool! When asked, Robert would send someone to readjust the temperature. The heating process would take 2 days not the 20 minutes he projected (LOL) Rather frustrating as no one wants to swim in cold water. The pool pump also sprung a link and drained half the water out as well - again fixed quickly, but lost another 3-4 pool days. I got so tired of calling Robert (Im sure he felt the same) that I repaired holey bedding myself. All in all it was a good stay that with better linens, some paint and a little TLC could be great.

Family Getaway

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Close proximity to tourist destinations such as theme parks. Robert was great with communication. I would rent this house or another of his properties in a heart beat! It was a overall great experience.

Nice place & great location near parks

Nice place, here is what needs improvement: The linens and bedding were just not the best to me and this is part of my own personal (a little bougie) taste. Keep in place this isnt a luxury townhome, the bedding looked old and the face towels looks so old and cheap as if they had been used to scrub floors once upon a time. I suggest bringing your own face towels and the property manager needs to upgrade the linens/bedding. Other than that the place and location were great. If you get the heated pool make sure the pool technician clearly understands that he needs to set the pool heat to about 80 degrees at least 24 hrs before you arrive as it takes about a day for the pool to heat up. Again other than the linens/towels everything was all good.

Stayed with ny wife and 4 grown kids. Property was immaculate, plenty of room for 6 and well maintained. It was a great value. I give it 5 stars

Perfect Location

Property was just as described. It’s location was great to the attractions. We had an issue at 1st with the pool but Robert took care of that quickly! We enjoyed our visit.

Loved the Property

You have a beautiful home and we enjoyed it very much. We did think it was lacking a few necessities such as dish cloths, pot holders, extra face cloths and maybe pool towels. I was wishing for a towel rack out by the pool to dry the towels. We found the location was perfect and wow what a beautiful kitchen. It is a great place! Thank you for sharing it with us. Charlene
