Welcome to Whalebone Ocean Cottages 3 Bedroom Oceanfront Cottage.
Located in south Nags Head at milepost 16.5, this newly constructed cottage court is a blast from the past! Whalebone Cottage Court has been around for decades, but has now been reconstructed into 7 brand new cottages. This modern 3-bedroom oceanfront beach cottage is sure to please all with its glorious oceanfront views and 1542 sq. ft. of ample living space. This 3-bedroom cottage offers a King bedroom and 2 two Queen bedrooms for accommodations for up to 10 guests. The cottage is also equipped with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking when you aren't going to the many nearby restaurants. All of the cottages feature the KEES standard amenity package including soap amenity dispensers, K-Cup coffee makers and K-Cups, high quality linens and bath towels and free Wi-Fi access. Take advantage of the KEES Flex-Stay System where there are no check in day restrictions or mandatory 7 night minimums. Whether you want to take a dip in the custom concrete pool, grill out with family and friends or step out onto the beach, Whalebone Cottage Court offers it all!

Lovely visit to Nags Head

We stayed at Whalebone Cottage C and it was great. Because it’s very early in the season we had the area to ourselves. It was super easy to walk down to the beach, just steps away. The view from the deck was OK, but the sand dune was pretty tall, still really nice though. The upstairs bedrooms had the best view over the dunes. It was about a 40 minute walk down the beach to the pier where there was a little fish and beer place. Awesome .20 shrimp happy hour. We’d stay there again.

Mother's Day Getaway

This place was absolutely perfect!! The location was wonderful and close to everything. This was the first time I had ever rented from Kees and VRBO and I was very pleased with all of it. We will definitely be staying here again. The kids loved being so close to the beach and pool.

Great last minute booking!

Loved the facilities. So close to the beach and the pool was wonderful. There were a few issues that we had, 2/3 were clogged and we called to put an order in to get it fixed but we never heard anything. Luckily we were able to grab the maintenance man when he was going to another cottage and he was so kind and able to assist us right then and there! Great place, just as advertised.

Enjoyed our stay!

Very convenient location to beach and pool access. Kitchen was equipped with pretty much everything we needed and was nice and clean. Only complaint would be needed to have more towels for showering and more garbage bags. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.
