Kajakpaddling (jag erbjuder en singel och en tandem kajak med hyra), slangar, fiske, vinprovning finns alla i din bakgÄrd. Kom och njut av nÄgra hÀstskor, anvÀnd eldgropen, njut av kanadensisk gÀss, rÄdjur, blÄ sill, shoal bas och öring. Jag har en stor "party rock" precis utanför stranden som rymmer 15 personer. Sten Àr delvis skuggad pÄ eftermiddagen, sÄ du kan lÀgga sig ut och sola eller sitta i skuggan och njut av sevÀrdheter och ljud. Det finns ocksÄ en statspark (Buck Shoals) i bakgÄrden med spÄrhuvudet ett stenkast frÄn stugan. Parken Àr inte tillgÀnglig med bilar, men endast genom parkering vid spÄrhuvudet och vandring in i parken (dÀrför vet mÄnga inte ens statsparken finns). Du kanske vill ha din egen mat och cookout pÄ propangrillen eller koka upp bredvid vedeldad eldstad. Vad du Àn bestÀmmer dig för att delta i, vet jag att du kommer att njuta av dig sjÀlv och ha gott om lugn och ro att njuta av.

This cabin is a great stay and had everything we could ask for from a secluded area on the river to a nice hot tub with lights at night. Jeff The host was super nice and friendly anytime we had a question. He immediately answered the places is worth to stay. It’s only about 15 minutes from Helen. The driveway is kind of narrow so highly recommend backing in makes it a little bit easier

Million dollar view

House was cute, very rustic but clean inside and equipped. Great beds. Livingroom furniture was not comfortable and old.Patio furniture was all very dirty and hot tub was not clean. The river is heaven and has many swimming holes all over. Stairs to river are very rustic and very steep, need to be very careful and physically in good shape to do over and over. The party rock is amazing and the views are spectacular. The driveway is very steep and not wide so that should be well known. You can turn around at the end of the driveway if you do a 10 point turn. Best to stay at top of driveway and walk up. Great washer/dryer, great kitchen appliances and great fridge!Guest room should have a tv for kiddos.Shower was great , quick hot water and great water pressure.Loved our trip and thought the house had what we needed. Wished the patio chairs and decks as well as hot tub were clean but we wiped all of it down. The river is everything for this VRBO otherwise we would not book again.

Anniversary vacation

The cabin is perfect! It is furnished with everything that we needed to have the best anniversary getaway. The perfect location to access the town and still be on the river. I can’t wait to come back when the weather is warmer!

Great spot!!

The cabin was very clean and in a perfect location close enough to Helen, but far enough away to enjoy nature. The area down by the water was very enjoyable and offers a great gathering area for the prefect get together. The hot tub was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was great! We would stay here again.

Best Family Vacation yet!!

Me and my wife had an amazing time at Jeff's cabin. Outdoor area by the river was amazing with all the amenities you could want! Games in the house for late night entertainment, beautiful and quiet place to stay we will be back ! Thank you Jeff for the opportunity to stay in such an amazing place !

River Getaway - Super fun!!!

We stayed from June 6th through June 12th. The river is gorgeous on the property. We were in that water more than we weren’t. We caught six shoal bass. We walked up the road to the GA park that had beach access. Gorgeous as well!! The Host is responsive and welcoming! Recommended highly!!

Peaceful Retreat

When you drive up to the cabin, you immediately hear the river running below. It's a beautiful cabin nestled in the mountains. The view from the balcony/porch facing the river is stunning. It's a short drive to town for shopping needs. Ten miles up the road is Helen, where you can shop or go tubing(in the summer), zip linning, or even some putt putt golf. We will definitely be back, hopefully in the summer to experience some fun on the river!!

Relaxation is on Tap!

This is a quaint little cabin but a little difficult driving down the very narrow and steep driveway. It is also very difficult to turn your car around in order to get back up especially with a SUV. The path to the river is also extremely steep which would be difficult to access for someone that may have difficulty walking or with balance. There are 3 beds and 1 couch that is accessible. The 2nd couch is located in the small game room that is overcrowded with furniture and difficult to get to if you needed it. The host was very good about answering any questions quickly.

Great getaway!

This is our 2nd time staying at Whitewater River Cabin, and we plan to return next year, too! The cabin is clean and cozy with all you need, but the real star here is the river--we all spent hours exploring and playing and relaxing...it's truly fabulous! (Just be sure everybody's got a life jacket, just in case, as this ain't no creek but a legit river.) We tubed (bought from Walmart on our way) and kayaked (rented from nearby Wildwood Outfitters) and splashed around...there was something to keep everyone (kids, teens, adults, seniors) entertained for hours. And when it rained for a bit, we had an epic, combination Galaga-Foosball tournament! We easily drove the road and driveway to the cabin in our minivan--no 4wd needed. You can see other houses a little through the trees, but the cabin feels private without being remote. We had cell service the whole time and the wifi was great. I will mention that the walk down to the river is a bit steep, so you may want to keep that in mind if you have older folks in your group. My very fit 72 year-old mom could do it, but it may be quite difficult for people with any physical issues. After long days playing at the river, we ended each night with a dip in the hot tub (very clean!) and a cocktail on the deck. We can't wait to return next year! Thank you, Jeff, for making this lovely cabin available.

Go Jump in the River and Enjoy

I chose the White Water River Cabin because it was near attractions that I wanted my granddaughters to experience. We rode horses together at the Chattahoochee Stables, visited the North Georgia Zoo, Gem Mined, spent time in the town of Helen playing mini golf and shopping, hiked to Anna Ruby Falls, visited the gabbage patch doll hospital in Cleveland and the best of all, my granddaughters loved playing on the Chattahoochee river at the cabin. My family had a wonderful vacation staying at the White Water River Cabin and visiting near by attractions. I highly recommend staying at the White Water River Cabin for a great vacation in the North Georgia mountains. I would also like to say that the cabin was very comfortable. The small problems we experienced were no lids for pots in kitchen to cook with, my wife enjoys cooking and likes to use lids.There was no foosball to play with on the foosball table. We purchased some at a nearby Walmart and started to play when we found out that a ball was stuck in the table and our new ball knocked it loose. There was a nice table outside near the hot tub, but we couldn't use it because it looked like it wasn't cleaned in month's. The refrigerator door magnet would not hold the door shut. If you closed the freezer door on the side by side, the refrigerator door would pop open. One day we were gone all day and when we came back the refrigerator door was open and our food got warm in the refrigerator. Kayaks are kept under the cabin at top of hill, so if you bring them down to the river, be prepared to muscle-up in order to bring them back up the hill. They were only small problems and I'm only mentioning them so owners can address them. Overall, we loved our stay at the cabin and appreciate Sherry letting us stay at their cabin. Owning my own businesses and working extra hours through the week does not allow me to get away to long distances for vacations, so I thought this would help me & my daughter "escape" on weekends to refresh and renew. I love my cabin and like adding upgrades to it for my guests to enjoy.

I had owned a cabin in Helen, Georgia right across the river from the water park and had known about this area for about 8 years. I had looked into purchasing a lot on the same road this cabin is on back in 2010 and wound up not purchasing it. In 2015 I decided to come back down the road leading to this property and saw this property for sale and fell in love with it. The location is 2nd to none as I am at the end of a dead end road that backs up to Buck Shoals State Park and Wildlife Management Area. The river is absolutely breathtaking and all the wildlife and serenity around adds to the peaceful and relaxing environment. I have made several upgrades and additions.
