Great Place w/ Great View

Place was as advertised. Gorgeous view and very close to town. Agreed that the main road noise wasn't ideal, but was as expected. Kitchen was well stocked. Communication with host was great. Only downside for us was our dog didn't love the sharp rocks outside. With the road not having a sidewalk, there's not many places to quickly walk the dog without going down the hill to the trail.

Great place close to town!

This spot was great. It was clean, had everything you needed, and was so convenient to town. Even though it’s on a major road, it was quiet and cozy. We hope to visit again!

Great place easy access

Loved place. Close to town and mountain bike trails. Good internet. Enjoyed playing music on Alexa and AirPlaying videos and pictures on Tv. Grill cooked steak to perfect char in 3 minutes each side. Only downside was traffic noise at night with windows open.

Great views out of all the windows. Steep stairs to the loft a bit difficult for 70 yr. olds. Really quite comfortable and a nice place to stay.

Stay at Overlook 2

Decent place to stay and very dog friendly. The road noise is really only an issue outside and the walls inside seem well insulated so we never really heard the neighbors. The kitchen could use some basic supplies that are missing. Chad was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

Amazing views!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. The home is very close to the town and has amazing views. The house has everything you need and Chad was very easy to work and communicate with. We also appreciated all of his suggestions for things to do, places to eat etc.

Clean, comfortable, convenient home with a truly spectacular view.

This home is clean and comfortable, located just south of town. The view is simply spectacular. Communications with the homeowner were easy and so informative prior to check-in that we never needed to bother him once we arrived - everything was as it was described in advance. The only drawback is the proximity to the highway which obviously means the sound of traffic - but we rented the property well aware of this, were prepared for it, and honestly got used to it.

Beautiful View

We spent 4 nights at the property in June. Everything was laid out and stocked very well. The owner was very accessible and helpful to us when we had questions. Only negative was the road noise.

The views are spectacular!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The views are unique in that you can't see Whetstone from town and that is my favorite mountain. And the short term rental tax at my place is 8.9% verses much higher in town or in Mt Crested Butte.
