Vi har en underbar utsikt över havet och vår enhet är nyrenoverade, utan en höjning! Vår effektivitet är utrustad med 2 queen size-sängar, komplett kök och igen, fantastisk utsikt över havet på en privat balkong. Island Retreat har 2 plats pooler, BBQ gropar, tennisbanor och lekplats. Vakna upp till ljudet av vågorna eller ta en avkopplande promenad ner vår styrelse promenader som leder till stranden, märkning din egen personliga fotspår på sanden. Utmana familj och vänner till några sportaktiviteter använder vår volleyboll, basket, shuffle board, och tennisbanor. Njut av utomhus grillning av våra badhytter ligger runt poolen områden och omgivande grunder. Island Retreat har en påskäggjakt för alla barn och föräldrar göra den minnesvärd. April har även Sandfest helg där vackra skulpturer som skapas av yrkesverksamma visas och gästerna kommer att fira helgen. Vi välkomnar din vistelse, och hoppas att ni uppskattar det lika mycket som vi gör!

This great location needs attention.

We were disappointed in the amount of vacation time we had to spend in solving issues. Replacing the broken keypad for the door lock on our first day took multiple messages and our entire evening so we couldn't settle in until the second day. Lock still needs repair to adjust is function. When we first tried to use the tv on day 2, and it didn't work, messaging took up time until tv was temporarily made useable for us on the evening of day 3. The repairman said he had responding to the same issue for a previous guest. Remote needed replacing. Lastly, this light fixture missing light bulb. One outlet hanging from wall. It would be nice to have a basket in bathroom to put personal items on the one shelf under the sink so toilet brush, extra toilet paper, and guests belongings lije toiletries, hair dryer are not all together on one shelf. Chipped dishes could be replaced. Attention to detail could make this a pretty sweet spot on the beach.. Ownet,tobe replaced

Wonderful views of the gulf!

Enjoyed the view of the beach and gulf from the balcony.Close to boardwalk over the dunes so walking out to beach was very convenient. Unit clean and well equipped.

Close to the beach, great view from balcony, amenities were adequate, cool air, comfortable beds. Sliding door was hard to open, no screens on door or window, not a lot of storage for clothes, outlet near sliding door did not work, balcony porch light did not work, outlet behind bed did not have a cover, remote control to air conditioner did not match book so we didn’t know how to use it, TV too old, no streaming, not a smart TV. Other than a few minor things, we really enjoyed our stay.

Golden Girls Trip

We booked the condo on this review, however, due to an issue, the owners moved us to a different condo that was actually larger. We all loved the new condo and the amazing view from the very large balcony! A special thank you to the owners for the amazing customer service. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and Very Relaxing!

It was definitely a vacation to remember, as this is a wonderful place to stay! The sunrise and ocean were breathtaking waking up to each morning. Being able to walk from the condo to the beach was the cherry on top!

Fishing trip

Property was clean and well kept. A perfect size for two friends who don’t share a bed! Very easy access to the beach. Management should put 2 or 3 kitchen towels and a couple of pot holders in the kitchen and sheets that fit the full size bed (they seem to have queen size sheets on the full size beds)

Great get away!

Great place! Needs a few light bulbs, handle needs to be fixed on sliding glass door (very sharp metal piece sticking out) and this would help to close door. We look forward to returning!!

Great location

We loved the overall property. Our condo was very clean. Several lights were burned out. The handle to the balcony was broken. It seems like no one had checked on the property in a while. The last review before our stay was in May of 2024 and it was positive. So either they didn’t turn on the lights or go out on the balcony or they were the ones who broke everything. Our contact responded quickly but must live somewhere else because something very important was missing and it took until the next evening to get it delivered. We lived the pool! We will come back but stay at a different condo.

Girls Weekend

This was the perfect spot for our annual Girls’ Weekend. The condo was on the beach and we really enjoyed being able to easily come back for lunch. The space was clean and just the right size for us for a long weekend getaway.

Great place for a family with young kids.

This is the fourth year in a row we have stayed at island retreat, different rooms though. The place is great and the location is perfect. You can see the water from the second floor and can easily walk to the water. Close proximity to plenty of restraunts. I never have played but they do have a pool and tennis courts on the property. Property manager at this condo is great, we had to make changes to our plans twice and they were quick to accomidate. Overall great place for a small family.

Bathroom hiccups

The condo was slightly bigger than I thought. The bathroom could use more hooks for wet clothes. Bathroom could use a better shower curtain as the current falls down and off anytime it’s touched. Hit my kid twice in the head. The toilet lid needs to be tightened and resecured. The dishwasher soap lid wouldn’t latch. The good was the location and access to the beach, short drive to downtown, view is amazing and the beds were comfy. The temporary ac unit worked Great!

Sunrise and Beach Splendor

We made sure to set an early alarm to watch the sunrise on the balcony. What a beautiful view from the balcony. The sound of crashing waves and view of them added to the outdoor viewing experience. There were plenty of birds to watch flying by along the shore. The short walk to the beach has a nice boardwalk. We took advantage of it to enjoy the water. Humidity was high but it didn’t damper our stay in the least.

Nice Property

We really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. The location could not have been better and the amenities on site were wonderful! We loved the walkway to the beach. The unit itself was clean and had everthing we needed for our stay. The view from the unit was beautiful and breathtaking. We spent a lot of time on the balcony taking it all in. Had a bit of trouble regulating the ac until to anything but super cold of just the fan. We could have used a blanket or two as to help with the cold. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

We live in Austin, Texas and found ourselves escaping to Port Aransas every chance we got. Since we enjoy it so much, it made sense to purchase our own piece of Paradise! Once we saw this unit, the view sold us and the pictures don't really do it justice. We are so pleased to be able to share our paradise with you and know you will enjoy it as much as we do!

We looked all over the island to find a condo that fit our needs. The view, private balcony and immaculate grounds primarily attracted us to this unit/complex. While looking at other complex surroundings, it was clear the cleanliness and proximity to the beach is by far superior at Island Retreat, in comparison to other complexes on the Island. We purchased unit 132, a few years ago. Our guests have enjoyed it so much and we find it hard to make time for our time, so we decided to purchase another unit. You will not be disappointed. This unit is spectacular and we know you will love it as much as we do!
