Perfect getaway

We spent a 4 day weekend here and it was a great location with only a short walk to the beach access. Gorgeous view of the ocean and plenty of room for all of us to spread out.Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful View

The wall of windows on the upper level provided a beautiful view of the beach! It was an open floor plan with lots of seating. We also enjoyed the hot tub, games and puzzles. The convenient location is only a short walk to the beach. We were pleased by the quality of the local restaurants & shops. We also enjoyed whale watching!

Gorgeous Setting

This bluff side cottage is so quaint and cozy. Good internet for work, right near the beach and shopping. Absolutely stunning panoramic views of the ocean. The only thing it is missing is an overstuffed sectional on the upper level so you can kick your feet up and enjoy the views. Just lovely. Thank you for your hospitality!

Picture Perfect Ocean View

This house was beautiful and had the perfect view of the Pacific Ocean at any level of the home. Our favorite past time was whale watching from the third level of the home. It was amazing! We felt very comfortable staying in this home. It was immaculate and had all the amenities we needed and more. We would definitely come back. :-)

Great Ocean View Property

Theplace delivers big time for dorect ocean view from every room. Comfy beds, good bathroom. Towels were at the dryer when we checked in, but that's nit picking.

Beautiful views and great location

We really enjoyed staying in this lovely home with the best views I’ve ever seen from any house I’ve ever stayed in. The hot tub was great. The easy access to beach just a few houses down. Wish we could have stayed longer. Didn’t get to use firepit. Pretty wild storm passed through the first night, but was still a great experience.

Great spot to get away

Nice place..needs maintenance

The house was very nice overall However, every cabinet door was falling off hinges, downstairs sofa bed is broken, hot tub is very dated and controls are falling off, and porches need sanding down and restained.

Perfect!

I rented this home as a little weekend getaway with some friends. It was perfect! The weather was considerably less than ideal, which made the view from inside that much more welcoming and enjoyable. It was a beautiful, clean, 3 story home. Our only complaint was that we wished we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful time at Surfers View

Great Spot on the Beach

Very nice house with great amenities right on the beach. Pictures and descriptions are spot-on, there are sweeping views from every room and the hot tub. Lots of stairs, so be aware if you have family members with mobility issues. There’s some chipped paint and worn cushions, but I found that a plus — it’s casual and homey and fine for kids who aren’t always so conscientious. My only complaint is the inflexibility of the check in time. It was a long trip for us, and we had a carful of groceries. We got there about an hour early and the house was empty, but we had to sit in the driveway until 4:00. We stayed for three days and did not leave the house except to walk on the beach. Highly recommended for a family getaway.

We stayed at this property six years ago! And, again this time we enjoyed it very much. The house was immaculate; but there are some 'dings' - on/in the stairway wall; chipped paint in the larger street-side bedroom on the lowest floor; mildew on the plastic 'walls' next to the hot tub. The living room furniture appeared to be in excellent shape. New perhaps?. **The lock on the hot tub was VERY difficult to undo. (Fortunately, my son-in-law was strong enough to un-lock it). I mention these items so that greater problems are avoided and others can enjoy it. Thank you.

Amazing!

It was absolutely fabulous! The refrigerator downstairs wasn't working and even though it was a holiday weekend they sent someone right out. Also, we couldn't find the garbage disposal button anywhere and when I asked via the text number they gave me the response was "it's in the kitchen somewhere". Okaaay not helpful. We eventually found it as we were packing to leave. It's where the soap dispenser usually goes and looks like a cap. Anyway, loved staying there and hope to go back soon!

Unfortunately did not meet expectations

I would have loved to have a great experience and leave a great review. Unfortunately the house was nice but did not meet expectations for what we paid for 2 nights! It was not thoroughly cleaned. 2 blinds in the main bedroom were broken so our view wasn’t as nice as it could have been. The house is on the beach, but you have to walk down the street to access the beach at the public access point. The fire pit was full of debris and there was no wood. We had to clean it out then run to the store to buy wood. You would think at a months mortgage rent per night, they could supply a cord of wood or two. There was no garbage can so we had to leave garbage outside. All in all it was a very special occasion for our family meeting our first grandchild and it was full of nuisances like these few listed and many more.

Great View House for Group of Retired Professionals

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Four couples went to the beach for a long weekend, an annual event for our group. The views and living area and kitchen are just beautiful. Although the house sleeps eight, one couple did sleep on the sofa bed in the family room downstairs. And it's a really good king-sized sofa bed which worked okay. We probably should have considered renting a home with four bedroom and a minimum of three baths. There were not enough wine glasses or enough good plates for all of us - there was enough silverware. And there were just enough towels and washcloths and no dishtowels. We did call maintenance to show us how to use the TVs - the young man who came was great! We would have appreciated written instructions. We will be staying again in August, this time with our kids from Minneapolis, and have warned them about the shortage of dishes and glassware. This is a beautiful property and we recommend it with just a few suggestions.
