Family visit

The house has amazing views, mule deer in the backyard everyday. It is in a great location, convenient to lots of sightseeing and shopping. The home is older and a few things were worn, but very clean and LOTS of space for extended family

Fully stocked Family Home

We had an absolute perfect stay with our adult family for our daughter’s wedding in nearby Black Rock. We had everything we needed, with the perfect amount of space for relaxing , bonding and even cooking big family meals. Felt like home away from home.

This property was a perfect fit for our water polo tournament at the Air Force Academy. It comfortably accommodated four couples with a bedroom to spare. Minutes from the USAFA, dining and local attractions. Property was exactly as described. 5 ⭐️

Lovely backyard retreat

The house was in a perfect location for us to visit our son at USAFA, easy access to the North gate and beautiful views. The backyard fire pit and pool table were the hits of our stay.

Beautiful house and great amenities

This house was perfect for our girls weekend in Colorado Springs. The home was fully stocked with all of the amenities. It is beautiful a home with a great backyard space. We loved having a pool table and games available. It’s close to the new venue for the concert we were attending as well.

Family fits!

We were in the Springs for a family reunion. Family from all over the country. This house was perfect to fit 11 of us comfortably!! It was a great layout for all of us to hang out and not feel crowded. The backyard is ideal for visiting ❤️

A lovely house on a hill, in a quiet court, with a view of the Cadet areas and mountain range, from the front porch. The gas fire pit and seating in the back patio was a delightful place for the family to gather in the evening.

Beautiful Home!!

This house is very comfortable for our group of 8 adults. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and would often see deer as we drove in and out. Conveniently located to the Air Force Academy an easy 25 minute ride into Manitou Springs. The beds were comfortable. The Queen bed room down stairs has the window covered which does not allow light in which could be problematic for someone who is claustrophobic this could be a problem. The out door space is super and the views of Pikes Peak from the living area are beautiful. I would highly recommend this property .

Great location

Three adults and 5 children stayed here and there was plenty of room for all of us. The location was good. About 30 min to manitou springs/garden of the gods, and 1.5 hours to Royal Gorge. Quiet neighborhood with a grocery store 5 min away. Kitchen was fully stocked and there was not a shortage of towels. We enjoyed the pool table inside and fire pit outside. My son loved that basketball hoop outside. We would have liked the snow to have been cleared off the back porch/basketball court as it was frozen and we were unable to scoop it. We had to walk through snow to get to the fire pit. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this house again.

A large home with lots of room for the family. Great location in north Colorado Springs in a quiet neighborhood with a nice backyard. The garage is not available for parking, so you may want to consider that if that's important to you, based on the time of year.

Family Vacation

The house was amazing, room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We spent so much time in the kitchen/living area as a group - just relaxing and talking and the sights we took in. Every morning some of us were outside enjoying coffee, even caught some wildlife in the yard. Quick drive to all of our destinations, we would highly recommend to others visiting the area.

USAFA Graduation

We had a blend of friends and family who came out for the USAFA graduation. Master bathroom was great especially for elderly relative. Enjoyed the pool table and outside seating areas. We cooked most meals and would have appreciated more silverware and glassware - we ran out often and had to run the dishwasher or hand wash to meet the needs of our group. Plenty of plates and bowls (so why do few glasses and so little silverware?) and fairly well equipped with pots, pans and bakeware. Would have liked to be able to recycle. We had a ton of recyclables and hated to throw so much away. Also, had a lot of leftover food and were told not to leave anything in the refrigerator, so there too had to throw a lot away. Found a neighbor who took some of it. For the next guests, they will be happy with the spices and oils we left behind! Good house for a group, location ideal for graduation activities and the size of our group.

Good not Great!

The overall accommodations were satisfactory. The house and location were good. However, the cleanliness and attention to detail needs some work. Every item you could think of was near empty, the detergent, the dish washing liquid, paper towels, etc. I had to make a run to the store to purchase some basic items. There was hair from the last stay throughout the master bedroom, and the trash was so full I had two leave two bags in the house. Food was left in the refrigerator from the last guest. For the price paid I expected better. I’ve had better and paid a lot less. But on a good note, the owner left two new heaters for use. We use them and they worked great. That was a kind gesture they didn’t have to do.
