Välkommen till vår strand hemma på ön Kauai!

Lae Nani är en vacker utväg som ligger på östra sidan av Kauai, strax söder om Kapaa. Vårt läge ger dig enkel tillgång till North Shore (Napali Coast) och South Shore (Poipu, Waimea Canyon) och tillgång till butiker och restauranger ligger inom gångavstånd eller 5 minuters bilresa.

Detta är en 2 sovrum, 2 badrum helt renoverat lägenhet på översta våningen i en 3-våning promenadbyggnad. Vår plats ger integritet från de andra enheterna och får dig att känna att du är i din egen värld.

Det stora sovrummet har en Lanai (balkong) och vetter mot havet, så du kan inte komma närmare ljudet eller utsikten över havet. Det andra sovrummet kan göras upp som två enkelsängar eller en kung.

Det finns en stor lanai utanför vardagsrummet med solstolar och ett uteservering. Placeringen av lägenheten innebär att vi tittar på morgonsolen stiger över havet med en fantastisk 180 graders utsikt. På eftermiddagen ligger solen bakom oss och tillåter fläktarna och handvindarna att hålla bekväma temperaturer (det finns ingen luftkonditionering). Köket är fullt lager och redo för dig om du vill laga dina måltider hemma.

Vi välkomnar familjer, ger massor av spel och baby tillbehör, inklusive en bärbar spjälsäng och barnvagn. Det finns ett stort gräsyta precis utanför och sanden ligger bara cirka 75 meter bort där det finns en keiki (barn) pool, perfekt för små att säkert utforska havet. Det finns en uppvärmd pool för användning av alla Lae Nani gäster och vi har en garderob med strandutrustning som du är varmt välkommen att använda.

Vi erbjuder gratis trådlöst internet och det finns en TV i vardagsrummet med kabel, Netflix och Amazon Prime. Det finns en stereo som stämmer in på lokala radiostationer eller spelar musik genom din smarta telefon. Vi har nyckelfärdig entré i lägenheten så att du inte behöver oroa dig för att förlora en nyckel. Parkering är gratis och säkrad.

This place was beyond expectations. The condo has the best views in the entire complex. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. The beach in front was great for snorkeling and relaxing. The unit is stocked with everything you’d need for the beach…chairs, umbrella, snorkeling equipment, water shoes and coolers!!!The location is ideal. It is centrally located on the island so travel to the activities north and south is a breeze. In addition, it is steps from the shops at Coconut Market and Lava Lava Restaurant (highly recommended.) The beautiful bike path, which is 7 miles (one way) along the ocean starts down the street. As for the hosts, they were amazing. They gave great recommendations for dinners and activities and answered every text within minutes. Book this place! You won’t regret it.

Great location in Kapaa within walking distance of Coconut Market as well as several dining options. View was incredible with beach access within a few steps of the condo. Beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler were very useful for beach days. AC in bedrooms was nice to escape the heat, main living areas do get warm but manageable. Overall would recommend.

The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The grounds were wonderful and added much value to our vacation. Very well maintained like a botanical garden and the tide pools along the ocean provided many fun hours of exploration. Be sure to catch the sunrise one morning!

Magical condo. Perfect Kapaa location. You can’t get closer to the water. The view is unsullied by other resort structures. At night with the 2 lanais the ocean is all encompassing. The nocturnal shearwater birds with their plaintive cries as they navigate by the stars is exhilarating. Out of respect to these seafarers the beach is not lit up which makes sitting on the lanai a spectacle. The big dipper what a swag lamp instead. The furniture is vintage Hawaii which I usually don’t care for but found myself admiring 4 fine pieces of art. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. I made great pizza if I do say so myself. Shannon was patient and kind. I am not the easiest person:) All to say I am grateful for their aloha. Not just the incredible value of such a property and what they charge, but for their spirit for making it all available. I won’t ever forget what I witnessed, the awe and beauty

Peacfull and Tranquil

The beach and surf is right there for you to enjoy. You can hear the surf all day long and and the swimming is fantastic.You can walk to the Coconut marketplace to hear some live music or get something to eat. This was an amazing vacation.

Great Stay at Lae Nani

Really enjoyed our time at Lae Nani. Condo is in great shape. Had everything we needed including beach chairs and umbrella. We spent time on the north and south sides of the island and this location was in between so it worked out good for us. The grounds around the condos is very nice and lush. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks again Shannon and Wendell for hosting our family.

Home Away from Home

We stayed in this third floor condo with our daughter and son-in-law for a family vacation. This beautiful home and the owners exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to rent this home again and most likely will in the future. There is nothing negative we could ever say about it. Lae Nani was the perfect spot for our family spring break trip. The property is beautiful, the condo has anything you think you could need for a great trip and the location is perfect for getting anywhere on the island. We loved it and would definitely stay again!

All the details and all the view!

Such a lovely property! Gorgeous views, impeccable landscaping, beautifully decorated home. And so many details! Everything you need to have fun and relax including beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, children’s toys, etc. We didn’t use the tennis court but we really enjoyed the pool as well as the jewel of a beach. Literally, this is paradise!

Perfect...couldn't have been better

The condo was perfect. The AC in the bedrooms was welcomed and needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and then some. There were all sorts of pool toys and supplies for whatever guests would need. The view was amazing. When booking, I was a little concerned about the location being too quiet and not easy to walk to restaurants, etc. Turns out, it was great. Plenty of places within a 10 minute walk! Highly recommend and can't wait to return.

Home away from home, but with a view in Paradise.

We really cannot say enough about this place. We have stayed in the unit on multiple occasions. it Has all of the amenities of home. Waking up to sunrises every morning is as good as it gets. The two lanais are great to have. The grounds of Lae Nani are like a botanical garden. The location is perfect for walking the beach and to multiple restaurants in the area. We hope to return again soon. Mahalo, Shannon and Wendell for being such gracious hosts!

My friend and I just stayed at this beautiful condo and it was such a wonderful stay. When we walked in and saw the beach right there it was jaw dropping. Everything was clean and comfortable. Amazing views

We were amazed by the views of this condo. Very clean n maintained condo. The owners did text us when we landed about possibly electrical plug issue in bathrooms and offered the maintenance guy to come. We did notice the bathrooms electric plugs were both tripped but my hubby was able to reset them and no need for maintenance. We loved it. The only suggestion I would make is extra shelves in the bathroom as there is no counter space especially in the master bath, that could have been the reason of the electric issue with the prior guest. We will be back. Kauai was amazing. Must do is natalie coast tour with snorkeling, canyon tour and the sugar plantation tunnel float.

Second Stay

This was my family’s second stay at this beautiful condo. The owners are incredibly helpful and messaged us on arrival day to check in and give us tips on using some of the appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked and being so close to Costco, we had such a nice time preparing food at home and eating on the balcony. The first time we came, we brought so much with us (beach towels, beach toys, toiletries, etc.) but after seeing how stocked the home was, we packed lightly this trip and it saved us a lot of hassle. The washer and dryer are a game changer! When arriving, I would advise looking around the home to see everything they have available, you’ll be very surprised/happy because the owners have thought of everything a family would need. The closet on the balcony has everything you’ll need for a beach day including a cooler, boogie boards and beach chairs. Recommendations: Anini Beach was perfect for our 4 year old daughter… calm, shallow water and plenty of room to spread out on the beach. We even saw sea turtles. The Fresh Bite food truck in Hanalei is a good healthy food option and worth the drive. While you’re there, stop by Pink’s Ice Cream Parlor. Use the Lae Nani pool! It’s huge and never seems crowded. Night swimming was a nightly routine for us all and we met some really nice people over our 10 day stay. The farmers market is close by on Tues/Thurs and Saturdays and is walking distance from the condo. Thanks for sharing your home with us! Can’t wait to return.

Family vacation to HI

We booked our trip to HI just a couple of weeks back - first to Kauai and then to the Big Island. We were so lucky to have found this gem of a condo on Kauai. The place was impeccable, the grounds were amazing and we absolutely loved the beach right in front of the condo, especially in the morning when you could wade in the tide pool. Proximity to everything is awesome. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the waves day and night. Our hosts were great and very responsive, checking in to see how things were going. We will definitely book here again!

Family get away

My husband, college-age son, and I stayed for a little over a week. The condo was very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The views weee spectacular. The location was perfect for hiking, swimming, and day excursions. We look forward to returning.

The unit is owned by Shannon and Wendell Meeres. We are truly beach people and love to spend time at this amazing location. Wendell is an avid kiteboarder, wing foiler and SUP surfer who has found a few secret spots to ride from on Kauai. Shannon is always on the look out for interesting travel opportunities around the world.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We looked all over Hawaii for properties and fell in love with Kauai. After looking at a number of properties on Kauai, we walked into Lae Nani 535 and stood dumbfounded by the view. We purchased the property from the original owners who were friends of the developer and who advised them to purchase this specific unit on the basis that it had the best views and the most privacy of any unit in the complex.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The East side of Kauai (also known as the Coconut Coast) is unsurpassed in location and access to the rest of the island. The weather here is in between the wet zone (North Shore) and the dry zone (South Shore). Our unit is unique in that both the master bedroom and the living room directly face the ocean and the feeling of privacy from the other units is unsurpassed. The previous owners completed an extensive renovation and we will continue to update and maintain our unit, striving to create a Hawaiian feel with original artwork and restored local furniture.

After touring much of Hawaii, we believe that Lae Nani captures the true Hawaii feel which is represented by the beautiful beach, the lush gardens and the sound of the surf. This particular complex is very peaceful yet is just steps to restaurants, shopping and easy access to both the North Shore and the South Shore. One of the few casual beach bars/restaurants on the Island is the Lava Lava which is a one minute walk from Lae Nani.

Also, helping make Lae Nani so special is an ancient Hawaiian spiritual site (called a Heiau) which is located on the point, in front of the complex. The special nature of this location has been known to the local Hawaiians (Polynesians) for perhaps 1400 years and now we have the honor of being able to experience it and share it respectfully with our guests.
