Graystone Cottage är ett charmigt hem som ligger 2 minuter från Whiteface Mountain och 12 minuter från den olympiska byn Lake Placid, New York.

Graystone Cottage fullt utrustade kök har rustika lönnskåp, bänkskivor i granit och Samsung rostfria vitvaror. Intill köket finns en matplats, komplett med ett fyra-personers matbord. Det finns extra sittplatser för att utöka matbordet till sex, tillsammans med TV-bord för barnen!

Vardagsrummet har en 55 tums plattskärms-SmartTV, bäddsoffa och flera stolar som ligger runt rummet för komfort och bekvämlighet. Stugan i vardagsrummet är den autentiska stenskålen - moderniserad med en gasinsats för säkerhet och bekvämlighet.

Den första våningen master svit innehåller en king size-säng, stor byrå, platt-TV, garderob och ett privat master bad.

Den andra våningen sovrummet innehåller en queen size-säng, stor byrå, platt-TV och garderob.

Det tredje sovrummet ligger på loftet. Observera att trappan som leder till loftområdet är brant, men det finns handskenor på båda sidor om trappan. Detta sovande område innehåller en queen size-säng, två byråer och platt-TV. Detta unika område innehåller också en ansluten sittgrupp med en tvillingbäddsoffa, en andra plattskärms-TV och en halv bad. Dörröppningarna till loftområdet och halvbadet är 6 fot, och taket vid dess högsta punkt är 8 fot. Eftersom det här är ett loft, gör taken sluttning till 4 fot vid kanterna av rummet.

Det finns ett "bonus" område på loftet som är öppet för drottningens loft sovrum. Detta område innehåller en byrå, en dubbelsäng och en platt-TV med en DVD-spelare. Detta mysiga rum är perfekt för ditt barn eller barn.

Perfect spot for skiing at whiteface mt!

We stayed here for a ski weekend/ son’s ski race at whiteface. It was perfect. Good communication, clean, comfortable, hot tub, close to the mountain. We will definitely be booking this house again.

Cute Cottage

We loved this little cottage. You felt right at home the minute you walked in. There was everything you needed whether it was in the kitchen or bathroom. The owners were quick to respond to our questions.We had a Rockin' Robin (we don't see these in Florida anymore and a Hopping Bunny as visitors.

Awesome Stay!

This house is a favorite of ours - fireplace, hot tub, well stocked kitchen, close to Whiteface, and EXCELLENT HOSTS! We enjoyed a snowy holiday weekend on the slopes and cozied in the house after. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Worth a return trip

We enjoyed our second stay at Graystone Cottage. The cottage meets all our needs. We especially enjoyed the hot tub this trip. The hosts are very friendly and responsive.

So close to Whiteface!

The living room could use a bigger seating arrangement, but the house was charming, the hot tub was super clean and the location couldn’t have been better.

Lovely Cottage!

My husband and I stayed at Gray Stone Cottage with our dog for a ski getaway. The house is only 2 miles from Whiteface Mountain. It was so convenient! There are a couple of local markets and restaurants but most of the shopping and restaurants are 10 miles away in Lake Placid. The house was very clean and supplied us with all of the essentials. The owners were very communicative and even plowed the driveway when we had a bit of snow. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Perfect Ski getaway

Stayed at the Graystone cottage and came down from Canada to ski/snowboard with the family. Amazing cottage and literally 5 mins drive to Whiteface mountain. Property owners were great in communicating promptly and check in was easy. We will be back!

Wonderful property!

Everything was great - clean, comfortable, perfect location, and prompt communication with owners. The master bed was comfortable (the only one we used), the kitchen was well stocked, and the hot tub was a nice perk. The house is located on a road that has a wide bike lane and sidewalks that we enjoyed taking our pups on for morning walks. The traffic was not very busy during our time there. It is also located near very many trails and activities. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again!

Comfortable cottage with everything we needed

Graystone cottage was an excellent VRBO for us and our two dogs. We stayed for two weeks and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub on the cold days. The owners were very responsive to our inquiries and fixed a minor maintenance issue immediately. If your main focus is Whiteface it is a great location. It is a short drive to Lake Placid and the other Olympic venues. We highly recommend it.

Great house and property

We had a wonderful stay at Graystone. Clean and well taken care of house. Our second visit here because we knew we wouldnt be disappointed. Graystone is in walking distance to Wilmington. We had the pleasure of a snowstorm happening while we were there. We enjoyed the hot tub while it was snowing. Magical!!! Had a relaxing time doing puzzles, games and being with family. Highly recommend Graystone.

Wonderful hide away

To get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we booked this cottage in the beautiful Adirondacks and everything was relaxed and uncomplicated from the start. The hosts sent all the information in good time and, after a long drive, we immediately felt welcome in the warm little house, which was perfectly prepared for our stay. The bathrooms and kitchen are comfortable, super clean and modern and it really has everything you need. The hot tub was heated when we arrived and we were able to relax straight away. The area is beautiful and there is so much to do. The people are incredibly friendly. We would love to come back!

Beginning of the ski season trip

Enjoyed our stay. Close to WhiteFace Ski Resort. We had five in our group and had our two kids upstairs with the adults on the ground floor. Good fit fir smaller groups. Once you start adding ski equipment for four people plus a snow board, there is not much extra room in the living room area if you plan on bringing your equipment in each night. Overall great experience and I would certainly recommend.

Amaizing house

The house is wonderful. Location is great. Close to Whiteface (ski). House very clean and well-kept. Our daughter loved relaxing in the hotub after a long day of skiing. we even managed to make a small bonfire and roast marshmallows for the kids. Cassandra explained everything about the house very clearly. Thank you very much for this. We will definitely visit this place again when it gets a little warmer.

Just as pictured

The property was as pictured except it is close to other houses which was not a problem. Very clean. Beds very comfortable. Good location for what we were doing while visiting Lake Placid. We would stay here again. My only suggestion would be a motion light out by the driveway. It’s quite dark when coming back to the property late. We did leave the side porch light on one night we were late coming back and that worked fine. We only needed to speak with owners once and they were helpful. Great property.

Excellent

The house was very clean and felt welcoming the second we walked in. There was plenty of room for everyone, and we had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive and kind. I loved that my dog was able to join us too! The only thing I did dislike was the fact that previous people who stayed made a mess in the yard with wrappers, cigarettes and tons of dog poo!!! The snow was melting while we stayed and everyday more appeared while I was out cleaning up after my dog!! We didn’t even get charged extra at this house to bring our dog, which is unheard of!!! I wish people could be responsible so they don’t ruin it for everyone.

wonderful week hiking the adirondacks!! house was clean and comfortable. absolutely nothing to complain about. great back yard and hot tub for hanging out. house was close to many hikes and a close drive to Lake Placid.

Ski get away!!

This was a great house for our family to stay in to ski at whiteface and enjoy Lake Placid. Beautiful house with a great kitchen and deck. Communication was amazing.

Great stay in Wilmington

We (two adults, one 9 year old and one dog), loved our stay at this house. The house is very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We loved having the hot tub, the gas fireplace was great (and very convenient not having to deal with firewood ). Our daughter loved the loft, it’s a perfect place for kids to sleep. The house is well located to ski at Whiteface (5 minute drive), and to explore Lake Placid. The hosts are very attentive and communicative (eg. we drove in during a snowstorm and Jeremy plowed the driveway repeatedly to ensure we were able to come and go as needed). We would definitely stay here again. We stay in a lot of VRBO properties on our travels, and this one was one of the best.
