"Cabin Time" är en charmig Log Cabin med 3 sovrum och 2 badrum inbäddat på. 50 tunnland mycket. Vackert läge för höstlövverk. Bra läge mellan Blowing Rock och Boone. Centralt läge! 3 miles från Tweetsie Railroad, lyssna på visselpipan! 10 minuter till Appalachian Ski Mountain. Nära till restauranger, shopping, Skidåkning, Tweetsie Railroad, Gem Mining och mer. Blowing Rock Downtown: 10-15 minuter, Boone Downtown: 5-10 minuter, App Ski Mountain: 10 minuter, Tweetsie Railroad: 5-10 minuter, Moses Cone Manor: 10 minuter, Hawksnet: 20 minuter, farfar Mountain: 30 minuter, Sugar Mountain: 30-40 minuter, Docs Gem Mine: 5 minuter, mataffär (Harris Teeter eller Publix i Boone): 5 minuter.

Football Weekend

What a great house! Clean and comfortable, and a great location! Communication with the owner was great as we had travel questions following Helene. This is one that I will definitely look at for future trips to Boone!!

Perfect get away

Adorable and cozy cabin in the woods!

True cabin feel

Spacious cabin in the middle of the woods but not far from stores and things to do and restaurants. Great fireplace and good internet service with Spectrum. Will definitely stay there again!

Lovely!

This is a spotless, roomy cabin with lots of amenities. Kitchen was very well appointed. The owners also very responsive to a couple of questions we had. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this cabin.

A beautifully maintained cabin nestled in the mountains

Beautiful, tranquil and super location!

Stayed at this cabin May 2016 for son's graduation from App State. Beautiful cabin, beautiful grounds and beautiful views. Owners were super easy to work with. The cabin looks small when you drive up, but it is so large and roomy. Nice furniture and very nice details! Wish we were still there!

Very Relaxing

My family and I had a great time at this cabin. It was very cozy and relaxing. Kids had a blast sledding in the backyard and the fire pit was awesome. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Thanks to the owners for being very responsive and answering any questions we had! The views were pretty awesome too, will definitely be back.

The property is perfect !

My wife and 3 children stayed at this property over the New Year's holiday break . We had an amazing time there. The cabin is in perfect shape, has all the amenities needed and is greatly located. Close to Boone and Blowing Rock, yet secluded in the mountain, the drive to the different ski slopes and area attractions is a breeze. We were even able to watch the nearby 12 o'clock fireworks right from our windows.

The perfect place for our family mountain getaway!

Everything was perfect! We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin for our 4 day weekend! We couldn't have picked a better place and the owners were so easy and gracious to deal with. The cabin was wonderful and very well stocked in the kitchen...always such a nice treat! Our boys loved the swing out back so much! Thank you very much for sharing your place with us and look forward to returning and making more memories there!

Cute Cabin

This cabin is in a great location. Secluded but close to Boone. The interior is comfortable. The rear deck furniture is old and uncomfortable. The AC is programmed so it can't be set lower than 70 degrees. Would recommend this property.

Perfect cozy cabin!

This cabin was perfect for our fall weekend getaway. Location is perfect - feels secluded but just a short drive to both Blowing Rock and Boone as well as many nearby trail options for hiking. The cabin itself is just as described. Kitchen and bathrooms are updated, and the living areas are cozy and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable with memory foam mattresses, and linens were clean and fresh. Kitchen was well stocked with basics and everything was spotless when we arrived. Great communication with hosts both before and during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Bill & Jennifer. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful and peaceful

The property was spotless and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and my kids loved the foosball table! The beds were very comfortable - we had a great stay exploring Boone because we were so comfortable. It’s just a quick drive (10-15 minute, including going slow down the mountain) into Boone. Tweetsie is just down the road as is an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. All in all, it’s a fantastic place to stay (especially for families) if you want peace and quiet on the mountain while still being close to conveniences.

Fully stocked cabin close to all attractions

We really enjoyed this cabin. The kitchen was well stocked but would suggest adding a drying rack. There were little extras throughout the cabin that made it extra special like books for kids and board games for adults. The owner was responsive to all inquiries. I would also suggest having a large outdoor garbage can to store the full kitchen bags in until the dump is open. I would recommend this cabin for family/friends looking for a relaxing weekend in the Boone/Blowing Rock area.

The cabin’s location was perfect! Grocery stores and restaurants were within 10-15 minutes distance. The cabin was really nice and cozy, bedrooms were spacious enough and comfortable, bathrooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed our evenings grilling on the back porch. The kitchen was well equipped but could use some nicer pans and spatulas. There was dust behind the headboards, and found cashews and drinks tops under the bed. The only inconvenience was having to take your own trash to the dumpster, it’s a hassle if you’re checking-out on a Sunday when dumpsters are closed. Overall, I can say that my family and I enjoyed our stay at this place and would come back.

Location, Location, Location!

Easily accessible and so convenient to Tweetsie, Boone, Blowing Rock, and the Parkway. The house adequately held 5 adults and 1 toddler with plenty of room for all. We especially enjoyed rocking on the peaceful front porch and making s'mores around the fire pit. The biggest complaint was the stove. We hoped to make a quick spaghetti dinner one night, but it took 45 minutes to boil the pot of noodles. The owners may want to look into the burners. Also, having more than one dishcloth would have been nice. Note to other renters: The house is advertised as having Netflix, Hulu, and Sling TV - an accurate description and great for watching lots of movies and older shows. If you're looking to watch live TV on network channels (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX), you're out of luck. We wanted to watch the CMA Awards live on ABC, but had to wait 24 hours to do so. Not a big deal since we were staying there the night after, but wouldn't be ideal if you are a sports fan. Just a note to avoid disappointment for others. Overall a great stay and we would recommend the house for location, cleanliness, and prompt responses by the property managers.

It took us 10 years to actually find a cabin here we liked. It had to be in a great neighborhood, close to everything yet in a secluded area that was beautiful! A tall order but we finally found this place and it was worth the wait.

We love this location. We looked for years to find the right home in a great area. It is nestled in a mountain community and has a private feel yet close to everything. You can be in downtown Blowing Rock in 15 minutes and Boone in 5-10 minutes. App Ski Mountain is 5 minutes -10 minutes away. Grocery stores are close by ( Publix and Harris Teeter in Boone).

Great location.Close to skiing, hiking, golf, shopping,Blue Ridge parkway, Linville Falls, Grandfather mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, gem mining, great restaurants and more. Cozy 3 Bedroom Log Cabin. All the comforts of home.

Take a hike on one of the many trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway, Greenway Trail (in Boone), Julian Price Park Moses H. Cone Park. Visit " The Blowing Rock". 5-10 minutes to Appalachian Ski Mountain, 30-40 minutes to Grandfather Mountain (great scenic drive, zoo & swinging bride), 30-40 minutes to Beech or Sugar Mountain (ski slope), Doc's Gem Mine: 5 minutes. Grocery Store (Harris Teeter & Earth Fare in Boone). We also enjoy walking around the Town of Blowing Rock (there are lots of neat shops,Kilwins for fudge or ice cream, wonderful restaurants, park & Broyhill Park). Town of Boone has great shops, restaurants, Mast General Store, Footslogger (outdoor sports store, has an outdoor climbing wall). We also like Valle Crucis Community Park (walking trails, playground, river) and there is another Mast General Store there too. Enjoy fishing at Trout Lake or try fly fishing at one of the many nearby creeks. Bring your swimsuit and experience Hebron Falls or Blowing Rock City Pool ( small fee per day, open during summer).

Snow Tubing at Hawksnest in Seven Devils is fun.

Tanner Outlet Shopping Center is Blowing Rock is 10 minutes away.
Enjoy fishing at Trout Lake or try fly fishing at one of the many nearby creeks. Bring your swimsuit and experience Hebron Falls or Blowing Rock City Pool ( small fee per day, open during summer).
Only 10-15 minute drive to historic Blowing Rock. Wonderful Restaurants. Some of our favorites are Bistro Roca, Storie Street Grille, Foggy Rock Eatery, Six Pence, Best Cellar, Canyons,Twigs, Roots (stuffed trout is delicious). Five minutes to Boone where you can find all your modern day conveniences including Wal-Mart, CVS Harris Teeter Grocery, Come Back Shack, Hob Nob Farm Cafe, Vidalia, Casa Rustica, & more.
