Beläget i den vackra böljande kullarna i Algarve landsbygden strax utanför den historiska staden Lagos. Parque de Floresta är en magisk resort med golf (18-hålsbana), Tennis (6 konkurrensdomstolar), spa- och skönhetscenter, gym och fitnesscenter, dykning, surfing. Stränder finns i alla riktningar, bara en kort 5 minuters bilresa från orten. Villa 44 har en av de bästa avskilda och vind skyddade positioner på Parque da Floresta, fortfarande njuter av vacker utsikt över den 12: e hålet, sjön och havet. (Obs: andra villor på bergstoppar kan vara vindpinad!, Inte Villa 44) Lyx lounge med satellit-TV och Air-con. Great Holiday

As regular visitors to the Parque we knew what to expect and we were looking for a large villa and Villa 44 offered everything we needed to accommodate our very large family. Like many rental properties it could do with some TLC and a few little touches here and there but this is being picky and it did not detract in any way from a very enjoyable week. The host was very helpful and communication with him was great before and during our stay.

we had a truly wonderful time at russel's villa.

The property was excellent, we have stayed in the area for the last 20 years and this was by far the most enjoyable holiday we have had , Waking and looking over a lush green golf coarse was a wonderful experience. The club house and members were great fun and very welcoming even though we are not golfers , food and service was some of the best we had. Pool depth started shallow and went to about 7ft deep which was great, spent days in the pool. The villa was very well setup, air con in the main lounge and fans in the bedroom. A bbq and table and chairs on the balcony where we had breakfast and evening meals watching the sun go down. we will most defiantly go back to Russell's villa my wife and daughter are already making plans. The communication from Russell was excellent, every thing explained simply and clearly, this was very reassuring. A Big thank you Russel and you will be hereing from us soon for next year Take care kind regards Frank.

Presque parfait

La maison est superbe mais quelques petits détails viennent ternir, un peu, l’ensemble. Belle vue sur la mer dès le petit déjeuner, piscine vaste et superbement exposée, chambres spacieuses, la cinquième étant un salon. L’environnement est calme, le personnel du resort aimable et disponible, les activités accessibles sans prise de tête. Et la maison vraiment à l’abri du vent. Des spots de surf côté ouest qui valent le détour et des plages familiales à l’ambiance cool complètent le tout. Si les quelques détails sont corrigés, je recommande.

Very nice location and views for an interesting villa But: - access to central pool and the gym is not free - the tiles of the pool of the villa needs to be repaired - additional cost is required to heat the pool - exchange with the management of the villa is not friendly Luc

Férias em família

Boa semana de férias em família, casa grande e com bastante espaço para todos. A zona é bastante calma e com praias a poucos minutos de carro. A piscina aquecida faz toda a diferença.

Superbe semaine

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour! La maison était propre à notre arrivée. Une grande villa spacieuse et agréable à vivre. La piscine est grande nous avons bien profité à plusieurs. L'hôte est très agréable, dès que nous avions une question il y répondait très rapidement! Je recommande vivement ! Nous avons tellement apprécié qu'on aimerait y revenir !

Férias de famílias amigas

A casa é grande e espaçosa, mais que suficiente para nós (3 famílias com criancas). Está bem equipada. A zona é muito agradável, perto (de carro) das nossas praias preferidas da costa vicentina! A comunicação com o proprietário foi fácil e eficaz. O supermercado fica a menos de 5 minutos de carro.

Local sossegado

A casa esta preparada para receber famílias com filhos de todas as idades. Tem muitas escadas para quem tem dificuldades locomotoras. Cada preparada para famílias europeias mas para nós portugueses faltaram os canais de TV , chávenas de café e materiais para limpar a casa como apanhadores, baldes e esfregona, mas de resto tudo correu na perfeição. Tem supermercado perto e a praia local é fantástica. Obrigada

Relaxing wonderful week.

Stayed for a week in September 2019 with good friends & our families. everything was just wonderful , particularly the pool. All rooms very comfortable. The views were fantastic across the golf course & down to the sea. Russell the owner was a joy to deal with. Would happily go again .

Una semana estupenda

La casa es muy cómoda , fuimos 10 adultos y la casa permite independencia y espacios comunes cómodos, Ademas es una zona muy tranquila y silenciosa, lo cual es un lujo.La situación es inmejorable cerca de muchas playas maravillosas.

Fantastic villa

Vom Feriendorf haben wir nichts genutzt, nur den wunderschönen Ausblick genossen!

Wir waren für 6 Tage in der Villa 44, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Tolles Haus, gute Ausstattung! Waschmaschine, trockner, Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen. In der Küche: genügend Geschirr und Besteck, Küchenhelfer, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Backofen, Töpfe, Pfannen, multizerkleinerer, Entsafter und vieles mehr. Den Gas Grill auf der Terasse nicht zu vergessen! Der Pool war super! Haben sogar im Schrank jede Menge Sand-Wasserspielzeug gefunden! Wir hatten zwei Babies dabei, es gab zwei Hochstühle, zwei babybettchen! Geschirrhandtücher, Badehandtücher, und Bettwäsche! Draußen genügend Sitz und Liegemöbel. Die ganze Anlage sehr sauber und mit dem Golfplatz wunderschöner Ausblick! Kleinigkeiten gibts immer zu bemängeln: In einer Badewanne lief das Wasser nicht ab ( dadurch unangenehmer Geruch) und ein Sofa hatte keine Bezüge, nur einen Überwurf. Alles andere wie bereits gesagt, vielleicht auch mal in die Jahre gekommen, aber grundsätzlich alles sehr gut ausgestattet und funktionsfähig! Gerne wieder!

Beautiful Villa!!!

This is the first time we have been to this part of the Algarve and it was amazing!! We usually go to the Faro region and wanted a change and were not disappointed. The accommodation was fantastic and Russell was very helpful every step of the way. The resort had excellent facilties for golf and spa.

Great for a family break

We stayed for about a week and had a great stay. A great place for a family. Salema beach is nearby, supermarket nearby. 10 min from Sagres very good location all round.

Amazing holiday!

We stayed in the villa in October 2013 and had a truly fabulous holiday. Two families of four (4 adults and 4 kids under 6 in total) stayed in the apartment and had ample room - accomodation was spacious, clean and comfortable. Some of the photos on the site are not up to-date - the TV is far more modern (with good wifi and satellite) while the BBQ is definitely worth firing up! The pool was superb as well. While the spa was only a few minutes walk away, all the kids loved the pool so much we didn't visit the spa as much as we anticipated. Even in October, the pool was warm enough, but toasty when heated! The golf course is very picturesque and relatively challenging (although suitable for all levels) with great discounts on offer. Usually it is relatively easy to get a tee-off time but the week I was there coincided with the annual tournament, so it was not as straightforward to get a round in (we managed a couple of rounds, but double check this before booking if you are a keen golfer). While the on-site restaurants are nice, the local towns are definitely worth exploring. The larger, more well known towns of Lagos, Luz and Sagres should be visited, but are busy. There are couple of smaller, nearer villages with superb beaches and restaurants that I cannot recommend highly enough - Salema and Budens offer near deserted beaches and lovely beach-front restaurants. We're all looking forward to returning in 2014!

The western Algarve is a magical place, far from the busy package-holiday destination resorts. With rugged coastlines, beautiful beaches and fresh air straight off the atlantic.
The country club - Parque da Floresta, gives you the best of both worlds, with its beautiful unspoilt location in a nature reserve, with all the amenities you could need including Spa, Golf, Tennis etc.. It's also a short 10min drive to the bustling 24hr nightlife of Lagos.
We chose this villa for it's great position, views, large pool and terraces.

Villa 44's location is one of the best, being sheltered from the winds, but still with views of the golf course, lake and sea. It's only a short walk to the clubhouse and Spa ~3 mins.
Beware of other villas on elevated hilltop positions, they can be windswept, or be a long walk to the main facilities.
