Great location!

Apartment is perfectly placed just a few blocks from the colosseum. Our family spent two days there ahead of our cruise and there are also a ton of great restaurants. We found Pizza Forum and had the best pizza ever at that location. Host clearly communicated and everything was great!

Beautiful apartment minutes from the Collusum

Nice apartment in a great location—just a few minutes' walk from both the Colosseum and the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano.The rest of the city was easily accessible, either on foot or with a short cab ride. The only drawback was that the main living area was an outdoor terrace. While it was lovely in the early morning or evening, it did get quite hot during the middle of the day.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Communication with the host was excellent, and check-in was smooth and hassle-free.

Fantastic stay in lovely Rome

We had a lovely holiday staying in this apartment , it is in a great location only ten minutes walk to the colosseum and close to a metro station . The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed , we especially liked the terrace . There is a cafe next door selling lovely fresh pastries and many authentic restaurants within a ten minute walk. The communication from the representatives was excellent and they were very helpful. We would thoroughly recommend straying here .

Perfect

Our stay was amazing! 3 couples spend the weekend here prior to a cruise. The location is perfect- close walking distance to the coliseum and several restaurants, small stores, etc. We would definitely recommend for those of you wanting to experience Rome

Wonderful stay.

Wonderful stay. We were a party of 6. This was our first trip to Rome. The apartment is as shown in the pictures. The apartment was clean, nicely laid out. The owners have detailed instructions for everything-nice for Americans who are not familiar with European appliances. The staff worked with arranging transportation as well as helping us with tours. They were very responsive to questions- and I had a lot of them. Definitely recommend for a party of 6One thing though. If you get there earlier than check in, make sure you are dropped off at the office, which is several blocks from the. Apartment. Difficult to pull or carry luggage form the apartment to the office.

This property was perfect for our stay. Loved the location....walking distance to the Coliseum, wonderful restaurants, markets, Gelato. We didn't want for anything! The owners responded quickly to all our needs! We highly recommend.....Grazie!

The manager and his team are incredibly professional and informative. The accommodation was perfect and the outside space was absolutely amazing! The location was ideal and the cafe at the entrance of the building was an added bonus! Lovely people and experience.

Roman holiday

5 of us stayed (2 couples and 1 friend) for 3 nights. It was a great apartment - we thought the location might be too far from the city center - but it was perfect! The apartment was quiet and each room in the apartment was quiet. We loved sitting on the terrace/watching the colors change - sunrise, sunset, etc. We loved our stay!!

Do Not Stay at This Apartment

I would like to provide a better review but unfortunately our unorganized experience started before we even arrived. Communication with the property managers is spotty, do not expect to get a response for 2-3 days. You will get charged extra for everything, so beware. The listing promised free car service from the airport to the apartment, but this is only is everything goes perfectly. Unfortunately, our bags did not arrive in a timely manner and the driver could not wait. Instead of the property manager helping to make other arrangements, their only advice was to get a taxi. The expense was 120 Euros when it should have been free. Next when you arrive at the apartment you are on the 5th floor (technically 6th). There is an elevator but it only worked 1 of 4 days we were scheduled to stay at the property. A member of our family could not easily walk up and down the stairs so this made for a negative experience. The apartment itself is okay, but there is no common area except for the outside patio which is not usable in the heat of the summer. There is an AC unit on the patio that you should be able to use if the glass doors are completely shut. The property manager does not want you to use it so they do not leave a remote control or any means of turning it on. On the third night of our stay the power either went out or was being throttled in our building, again the elevator did not work and the AC and lights would not turn on. We had to move to a hotel with no help.

We were thrilled with this apartment. The owner was wonderful to help us with transfers. The apartment was clean and on such a magical street. We were thrilled with our stay. Can’t recommend more highly. You won’t be disappointed.

Nice place and well located. The patio is nice but unfortunately the glass doors can't be used. Lots of mosquitos so the main seating area was not ideal. Otherwise the place is great.

Great New Years Break

We stayed with our eldest (adult) child over new year for 4 days. The bedrooms were large and clean with plenty of storage and the bathrooms very clean.We didn’t use the kitchen beyond making a hot drink but there were facilities to cook if we had wanted. The heating was efficient and the apartment warm. We didn’t use the balcony room though as it was was a little chilly. It would be wonderful when warmer.The hosts arranged our transfers to and from the airport which was incredibly convenient and the option to store our luggage on our last day was also very useful. We also liked having the Virtual key on an app rather than having to carry around keys all day.The location was fantastic, less than a 10 minute walk from the Colloseum. The hosts also recommended some great local restaurants and we tried a couple, the food was excellent and a great price too. I would recommend this apartment for a short stay. The hosts also left us some Prosecco as a welcome which we didn’t get around to drinking, but it was a lovely touch.

Wonderful Stay in Rome

We stayed here for a week at the end of March and were very pleased. Communication was fantastic. The apartment was clean and extremely comfortable for our family of 4. It was great for us to all have our own space after long days of walking and exploring Rome. I highly recommend asking the owners to arrange transportation to and from the airport, it made things so easy, especially upon arrival. The location is within walking distance to so many sights and the metro station is only a 10-15 minute walk away. There are so many wonderful restaurants to choose from within a 10 minute walk. The view from the terrace was beautiful. Thank you for a fabulous stay for our first trip to Italy!

Reasonable location

Property is average. Photos are definitely staged to make it appear larger and brighter than it is in reality. I was very turned off by the continuous video monitoring INSIDE the property. We have stayed in multiple VRBO locations throughout Italy and the world and have never encountered this. Overall, “fine” but definitely not a place I would look to return to.

Fantastic host and beautiful house

Giuseppe's place is beautifully decorated, spacious, and has a lovely patio. Giuseppe is a fantastic host, he is very communicative, and helpful. He oriented us to the city, helped us find the metro stations, he is a wealth of information when it comes to visiting sites and when and how. He was incredibly helpful in arranging transportation for us and is very quick to respond to questions! The location is not central to Rome itself...it is central to the Ancient Rome portion of the city but it is south of the Colosseum. Rome is incredibly large so using the metro is required and this apartment is central to two metro stations which is very helpful. Also of note, there is a refrigerator but it is not a full size fridge, he has mini-fridge's in each room which is quite handy actually but not if you are planning on cooking meals and purchasing groceries - it is ideal however, for cool beverages after a long day of sight seeing in the summer heat. The apartment has plenty of charging outlets by the beds, a safe, and places to hang your clothing. We wish we had more time to enjoy the patio which is incredibly pretty. Thanks for the wonderful stay!
