Villa Susana was exactly as described. Very well equipped, spotlessly clean. Just up the road from the village of Jesus Pobre with some excellent restaurants. Sue and Nick were there to great us with a warm welcome and a fantastic welcome pack. Genuinely couldn’t have found a better place to stay. We would highly recommend.

Great Hosts shame about the issues

Met Susan & Nick all very nice ...villa in need of complete update. Shower curtains around baths and showers reminded me of Greece in the 80s ...shower curtain in ensuite mouldy...shower head no pressure ...no dishwasher and no sign of a pool cleaner for our 8 days stay . Road noise from the small lane that passes by very noisy starts around 6am most days. Dissapointed

La Casa Suzanne a toutes les commoditĂ©s pour 4 personnes car 2 chambres/ 2 SDB et 2 toilettes. Elle est trĂšs propre et trĂšs bien clĂŽturĂ©e sans vis Ă  vis. Pas de voisinage bruyant, bref un petit paradis. Susan et Tom sont trĂšs accueillants et nous ont offerts le repas du soir pour nous Ă©viter de faire les courses dĂšs notre arrivĂ©e 👍À recommander. Une trĂšs jolie location que la Casa Susana. La maison est trĂšs agrĂ©able, trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e, d'une propretĂ© irrĂ©prochable. La piscine est superbe et entretenue 2 fois par semaine entourĂ©e d'un jardin agrĂ©able (transat Ă  disposition - manque peut ĂȘtre un 2eme parasol lorsque l'on est 4 a se prĂ©lasser). La maison a une suite parentale et une chambre avec 2 lits individuels et SDB attenante, cela est trĂšs apprĂ©ciable. Proche d'une route passante mais la maison est tout de mĂȘme trĂšs au calme. Entre DĂ©nia et Xabia (20 mn de route d'un cĂŽtĂ© comme de l'autre), nous n'avons jamais eu de souci pour le stationnement. La communication avec Susan pour la rĂ©servation et le bon dĂ©roulement du sĂ©jour est excellente. Susan est joyeuse et conviviale et elle apprĂ©cie de recevoir. Ses petites attentions Ă  l'arrivĂ©e son un vrai bonheur surtout aprĂšs de longues heures de route. C'est une location Ă  recommander. Les photos du site sont le reflet exact de la rĂ©alitĂ© et Ă  l'arrivĂ©e vous avez dĂ©jĂ  l'impression de connaitre la maison, sans oublier le joli toit terrasse qui permet de profiter de jolis coucher de soleil sur les montagnes

Lovely time!

We had a lovely time staying at Casa Susana. The owners made it very easy regarding arrival/departure, and the welcome pack was thoughtful. The kitchen had everything we needed, including things like washing up liquid, hand soap, kitchen roll, cling film/foil, supermarket shopping bags - all much appreciated. The bathrooms were clean, and showers worked well enough. Beds were comfy, nice to have the option of a fan, as well as the aircon. Outside, good to have lots of shade but still within view of the pool Location-wise, lovely views and much nicer than other areas we have stayed in/around Xabia, which have tended to be more built up. The local Sunday market was a nice surprise to have so close - and there were several good restaurants within a short driving distance, so we had other options than just those in the centre/harbour areas. Overall, we had a lovely time, and would recommend the villa.

Cosy villa

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Susanna. We were greeted by Susan & Nick on our arrival, shown around the villa & given all the information needed for an enjoyable stay. The villa is well equipped & spotlessly clean. Communication prior & during our stay was second to none. Would happily return.

A lovely, peaceful location. Pool area was fantastic. Inside villa is rather dated but beds are comfy, air con works in bedrooms and showers were good. Some other air con in sitting room and kitchen would be great in temperatures over 33c. The nearby town is only a ten minute walk but in temps over 30 it is very uncomfortable. For the first week of our stay Pedros was the only bar/restaurant open. 15th July. A car is needed. Xabia nearer than Denia and in hi summer better. La marina shopping centre, near Ondara, is good. Local grocery shop very limited. Masymat near villa good. The hosts were very nice, not intrusive and on hand to help with any queries we had. We left feeling well rested.

Long stay with our dogs

We loved this property. The owners have made every effort to include home-from-home comforts to enhance your stay. The pool area and pretty tropical garden is breathtaking under the landscape of the Mongo Mountain. The pool is crystal clean and maintained throughout your stay. A generous welcome pack by the owners is also included, much appreciated after a long drive from France. The owners Susan ands Nick really should be commended for their hospitality - a lovely little villa that meets every need and more! 5*

This was our second visit to stay in Sue and Nicks property and it hopefully it won’t be our last. We felt at home from the start with a lovely welcome from Sue and a big basket of food to start us off. Everything was spotless and there was nothing we could want for. The WIFI is good, the heating when it had to be used was efficient and Sue or Nick were always at hand if we wanted them. It is a secluded villa, close to many restaurants a short drive away and close enough to Denia and Javea. We discovered many country walks around Montgo. We should like to thank Sue for her kindness in ensuring we had a perfect stay.

Wir haben 10 Tage in Susans Haus verbracht. Wir wurden trotz erheblicher VerspĂ€tung sehr herzlich von Susan und Nick spĂ€t abends empfangen und sogar noch bewirtet. Das Haus ist gerĂ€umig, hat einen schönen Außenbereich mit großem Pool und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Umgebung war wunderbar: auf der einen Seite die Berge zum Wandern, auf der anderen das Meer. Ein herrlicher Urlaub!

Perfect Holiday

Just back from our third holiday at this beautiful property over the last 5 years. Sue and Nick are fabulous hosts, the villa is in a great area with so much to do and places to go within 20 minutes to an hours drive, or the pool and sun terrace are lovely and private if you just want to relax. The villa has a really well equipped kitchen, nice cosy living area. You couldn't want anything else for a stress free holiday. Fingers crossed well be back again next year.

We do all our own maintenance and cleaning to ensure our villas are in perfect condition and spotlessly clean for our guests. I was a City Business woman until I found Casita de Alba in Jesus Pobre and from that day I knew I wanted to live there. I put my heart and soul into reforming the villa and made it into a luxurious, comfortable, welcoming home. We have had some wonderful times with many clients who come regularly over the years and who have enjoyed our properties.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

I first visited Jesus Pobre in my youth and was completely smitten.It is such a delightful village and so near to Casa Susana you can enjoy a leisurely walk to La Tasca Restaurant and the Sunday Market or enjoy a short drive to the beach. It is a perfect location.
The villa is spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and the views from the roof terrace are wonderful.
