"Vila Mar" är en del av en "Exklusiv", "Privat", "Fredlig", "Väl underhållen", "Säker", villa, med ett litet antal villor. Omfattande manicured Vackert bevarade trädgårdar, med massor av träd och fåglar, rullande gräsmattor som omger den stora poolen, med ett separat grundare område för barn. Trots att det är gångavstånd till olika toppstränder, utmärkta restauranger, Viby nattliv, Bares, stormarknader, "Gamla stan" i Albufeira, den berömda "Strip", lokal "Giro" -buss, turisttåg, etc, Condo. är mycket lugn och fredlig. Villa är söderläge, dubbelvåningshus med sin privata bilport. Från övervåningen på sovrummet på övervåningen kan man se utsnitt av havet. Villa Mar har dekorerats med en speciell charm och unikhet. Nedervåningen är en privat sluten trädgård, med ett grönt smidesjärnbord med 6 stolar och starkt stort paraply, inklusive din privata inbyggda BBQ m / skorsten. Det finns solstolar för solbränning / avkoppling / läsning etc. Den lilla porten i slutet av trädgården tar dig direkt till poolen. Komplexet har en låst ingång, en motoriserad grind, så det är ganska säkert och mycket privat. Det finns en stor pool och grundare barnpool och attraktiva extremt välskötta mycket rymliga trädgårdar runtomkring, med en tennisbana. Barnen har gott om utrymme att cykla och springa gratis på de frodiga gräsmattorna, inom säkerheten för ett stängt bostadsrätt. Det tar 15 minuters gångavstånd längs Forte de São João-stranden till den gamla staden Albufeira med sina affärer, barer och restauranger och ett fantastiskt nattliv. Den berömda Strip / Street of the Bars ligger 3 minuters promenad. Du behöver inte en bil eftersom buss-Giro-tjänsten är mycket bra. Det finns gott om sightseeingturer, biluthyrning finns på flygplatsen. Det finns underbara stränder och byar längs Algarveiska kusten. En kort resa inåt landet tar dig till den gamla Algarve där livet inte har förändrats mycket på flera år. Det är en 4-minuters bilresa till Balaia Village Golf Course, 8 min till Salgados Golf Course och 20 min till alla golfbanor i Vilamoura.

Super Relaxing Holiday

We had a lovely break. Branca our hostess was so nice, we received a great welcome, very informative and helpful. Villa was beautiful and so quiet, we spent our week on the huge terrace at the back.

Very, very friendly host and we absolutely enjoyed our stay in the very comfortable house with garden and swimming pool at 30 metro's from the house. In one word: fantastic!

Perfect home for a stay in Albufeira

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mar. The villa was perfect for our family needs. The rooms were lovely and worked perfectly for us. The pool was also great. Our toddler loved the shallow end of the pool and had endless fun. It was the perfect location for walks into the old town and to the local beaches. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home.

Beautiful stay!

We are so thankful that we found this gem of a villa! It had everything we needed and Branca was the perfect host, arrived to welcome us with a lovely bottle of wine (and gave us a couple more during the week, which was greatly appreciated!) Very comfortable and the little courtyard was perfect for leisurely lunches, bbqs and a drink before heating out. Old Town was a 15 min walk and the strip (new town) around 10 mins. Perfect place, very comfortable and lovely host! What more could you want!

Large spacious villa in beautiful complex

Lots of space in the villa with a beautiful pool in the grounds. Often we were the only ones using it. Lots of choic for beaches only a short walk away and The strip close by. Old Town around a 15-20 min walk to the main part. Lots of taxis though to get around if you don’t and not expensive or tuk tuks. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby also.

Really nice house with plenty of space. Really liked the garden for breakfasts and evening wine, and the pool was great. Lovely garden and quiet pool. The location was good, close to the strip and short walk to beautiful beaches. Great holiday!

Perfect place to relax and unwind with family

We are just home from a week at Villa Mar. Branca went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best time at her beautiful villa. It was spotless and spacious. Our kids absolutely loved the pool which we often had to ourselves. It was also great to have a tennis court and gardens. Would highly recommend!!

Absolutely magical home from home - tranquil and relaxing

Contact with the owner was wonderful from the moment of booking, and once we arrived we had an amazing time. It truly felt like home from home and everything to make it feel like home had been made available - snorkel, Lilo, bats and balls for the beach, beach towels, bed linen and towels plenty, a bottle of chilled white wine in the fridge even! Branca booked us transfers with a child’s booster seat included and was unbelievably helpful with recommendations too. I could not fault this booking.

Fabulous property with beautiful garden & pool which my kids loved. The host couldn’t be more helpful, she really made the whole stay seemless and kept in touch throughout the week and even popped by to see us with some tasty Portuguese buns! She also arranged our airport transfers with a local taxi company as we didn’t bother with a hire car. We either walked everywhere or used Uber to go to the water park. Villa has everything you need like washing machine & beach towels. Would highly recommend.

Great Location

Very nice, quiet area located just a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk to Old Town. We did not rent a vehicle as we were able to walk everywhere including grocery stores and shopping. The pool was excellent although not heated and we swam almost every day. We were usually the only people at the pool so felt it was our private pool. The house was comfortable, clean and well appointed for six people (3 couples), however we found it a little cluttered and would have liked some cupboard space to put our groceries. There were a few things not working such as the air conditioner in the master bedroom and although our host Branca tried her best, it was not fixed while we were there. The back yard needed some care, although Branca said her gardener was away with an injury so again, not resolved while we were there. Also some of the outdoor furniture needs to be replaced. Branca was very receptive to our calls and also very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and loved Portugal!

Best host ever

The property is exactly as described. Branca is the kindest host we have met, she goes out of her way to help in any way. She even left small gifts for the children which they loved! Thank you Branca. If you are lucky enough to stay at this villa it has absolutely everything a family needs. Location is good for bars/restaurants/beach. I recommend taking a cheap taxi to the old town rather than the strip if you are a family, it’s a nicer atmosphere and has lots of lovely restaurants. We visited the famous caves which are stunning and had a day out at the water park which was super fun. The rest of the time we spent at the pool which was a good size and never over crowded. There is a small shop across the road for basics but if you turn right when you come out of the exit and walk 5 minutes up the road there is a small supermarket which has everything including fresh baked baguettes. You will not regret booking this property if you are visiting Portugal. Branca being the kindest host made it for us! For sure we will return. Lots of love, Claire & family.

Perfect Villla

We had the most wonderful stay at this villa. We arrived to a wonderful warm welcome from Branca who showed us around the beautiful property after a warm welcome. The villa has everything you might need for your stay. It is spotlessly clean, fabulously furnished and has the most beautiful garden. Weather wasn't great, very unusual for end of May, early June, but as the villa was so comfortable with movie channels on tv and all the comforts of home, it didn't really matter. Nice stroll down to the OldTown in the morning took about 20 minutes and lazy taxi home cost less than 5eu. Couple of very nice local restaurants literally across the road and just around the corner a fabulous one, Stews & More. Taxi rank just up the road does trips to Aldi and Lidl for 5euros and a Spar just around the corner from there is great for the everyday bits and bobs. I can't wait to come back to the lovely Villa Mar. Branca is lovely and was quick to answer answer any queries promptly. We didn't use the pool as it was a bit chilly but it is a great size and I hope to make good use of it on our next visit!!

Great villa with a wonderful welcome!

May 2018 - F Christie - We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children and found this lovely villa in the heart of Albufeira (in between the Old Town and close to "The Strip" where's there lots of nightlife). The Villa was set back from the main road and we heard nothing of the nearby nightlife, but would have been able to walk to the nightlife easily, if we hadn't been so tired from chasing after 2 young children all day! Transfers were organised by Branca, the Owner, and she met us a couple of days later (when the in-laws arrived) to greet all of us in person which was very kind. Branca was kind enough to advise on a couple of local restaurants and the transfer fella told us of the Chinese buffet ("Joyful Paradise" - 20 min walk), which was a lot better than any I've been to in the UK. My favourite (frequented by the locals) was "Restaurante Verde Minho" which is a self service (very informal) restaurant which had great local portuguese food - we went a couple of times -and is very reasonable. Closer is the restaruant "Festa da Praia" which has a a little play area for kids, and it kept our 4 yr old very entertained. Food was pretty good, but be prepared to wait a little when it's busy. The pool was a little cold, but we were there in mid May so it wasn't really up to temperature - had it been hotter, it would have been an ideal pool for dipping in to cool off - none the less, it was good that it had a larger children's section which was nice for the children to have a splash around in most days. Beaches were easy to access and it was a 15 min walk (would have been 10 if the kids hadn't slowed us down a little) to "Praia dos Alemães / Alemães Beach" - which was great for relaxing but not ideal for swimming, so in the other direction (again about 10-15 min walk) the other way is "Averios Beach" which is a little more sheltered and more suited for a swim. This villa is ideal for a larger family looking for something quiet but close to lots of amenities! Great place!! Felt like a home from home! Thanks for having us Branca!! We will definitely be back!!

Séjour 1 semaine Albufeira

Maison au top très propre, spacieuse idéalement placé : bars, supérette en face de la résidence, à 5 min à pied de la plage, du strip ... Le jardin de la maison donne directement sur la piscine de la résidence. Branca nous a donné plein de renseignements (sur les activités, les restaurants...) pendant notre séjour et à répondu à nos questions bref à réserver sans hésiter

Home from home

If you are finding it hard to make your choice don’t hesitate in booking Branca’s condo. The place contains everything you could want, is quiet (we had the pool to ourselves every day of our stay), is located well for the Strip (but yes it’s quiet on the complex) and convenient for transport to the Old town. Branca is truly a very caring, welcoming and friendly host. She has a wealth of information of the local area and gave us some great recommendations of places to eat. Thank you Branca!

Perfect house in a peaceful setting

Thank you so much for giving us the most perfect 12 days in your home. It had everything we wanted, and it was in such beautiful surroundings. The pool was lovely, a nice temperature and fairly quiet. We were a party of 5, with a 5, 3 and 1 year old and this property was great for us, but I can see why it wold be perfect for people without children too. We would love to come back.

A warming feel with everything you need!

I took my mum, sister and brother away on holiday - it was the first holiday we've all had together in almost 20yrs. So after deciding on the Algarve I found a number of villa's to choose from and then stumbled upon Villa Marisol! Wow!! The pictures of this Villa do not do it justice, it is such a lovely place and the 4 of us couldn't of wished for a better find. It's in a great location (in the middle of old town/ new town) 10 minutes walk to 3 beautiful beaches and a very short walk to a fabulous Portuguese restaurant (stews & more which was amazing!!) We made good use of the BBQ and pretty much had the pool to ourselves for the entire week of our stay. Branca (owner) was amazing - so lovely. She met us at the villa and took us to the supermarket so we could stock up on supplies when we arrived, then dropped off some freezer blocks for the cool box the next day for us. She works very hard to ensure you have a brilliant stay. You won't need to bring much with you to this villa as it's well stocked with utensils for cooking, tons and tons of amazing books to read whilst soaking up the sun. TV and DVD player but the villa itself is the main attraction - it is just beautiful!! When we come back to the Algarve - I'll be coming back here every time! Book this villa - you will not be disappointed!

Family holiday

Had a great stay in this 3 bedroomed villa with a 3 year old and a 16 week old baby. Villa is well stocked with a cot and toys too. Very clean and in a great location. The welcome pack was a great surprise as we arrived quite late. We will return!

Fantastic family holiday

From the moment we arrived and had a wonderful warm welcome from Branca and her mum we knew we had chosen well, the villa was all we expected it to be and more. The location is exactly what we were looking for, in walking distance of the beach, the old town,park, bars and restaurants. The villa is really well equipped with everything you could possibly want for your stay including pool towels, inflatables and even buckets and spades for the beach.The garden and BBQ were perfect as was the shared pool which was literally just out of the garden gate. we would highly recommend this villa for a family holiday with a safe environment for children

Beautiful, comfortable and fully equipped villa

There was 6 of us that came to villa mar, including my 9 month old baby and my 9 year old niece. First time away with the baby so I was anxious on what I needed to take. However, Branca had it all prepared! Cot was put up ready, stair gate available, even had a stroller! The villa had everything you could imagine and more! Kitchen was fully equipped included extras like coffee machine, blenders (which made my life so much easier with making food for baby)! It had everything! The location was perfect! It was a five min walk to strip and 10 min walk to old town but there is a train about 3 mins away that you can get on which takes you to all the locations anyway! You have choice of beaches all approx 5/10 mins away! Spar shop 3/4 minute walk and snack bars/restaurants opposite villa! The listing description of this villa is more than accurate and as previously said much more could be added. Very clean villa, lots of towels, air con, easy to keep tidy even with children as everything has a place. On a few occasions we even stayed in and enjoyed a BBQ (again all equipment supplied) outside in the beautiful private garden making use of limes and mint trees provided! Also great wifi signal! Branca who rents this villa out is a absolute star! Very friendly, helpful, lovely person who can not do enough for you! She helped us out no end! Sorted all taxis, transfers for us and responded ASAP! We had a absolutely brilliant time and already planning for next year but for longer and more of us! Can't recommend this villa enough! I've been to Portugal a number of times and would come back to this location/villa without a second thought!

Superb holiday location and a beautiful villa

What a fabulous holiday we have just had in the beautiful Villa Mar. We were so lucky when we found the property and it couldn't have been more perfect. We wanted something spacious, quiet with use of a pool, safe but within walkable distance of restaurants and bars and it delivered on all aspects. Our two families had a wonderful time and the villa offered every comfort from home. The space around the pool, maintained of the grounds and cleanliness of the villa was superb and every attempt was made to ensure we had a fabulous holiday. The owners were more than helpful and every effort was made to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The bedrooms were spacious and plenty of bathroom opportunities. It was in a ideal location and easy access to the beach and restaurants. I would recommend the villa and its location and hopefully definitely be retuning.

Excellent location, quiet complex, perfect holiday

If you are looking to rent a 3 bedroom house in Albuferia that can sleep up to 7 people then look no further. We were honoured to be the very first guests to stay here. The house is ideally located in a very secure quiet complex 5 mins walk from the New Town and 20mins walk from the Old Town. 12 min walk to the Beach. The walk along the beach to the old town is beautiful. There is also a bus stop 5mins walk from the complex gate that can pick you up and bring you to the old town for €2.50 per person. The house has everything you need from Wifi connection to coffee machine. The complex has a very nice pool and garden area. The owner is extremely helpful and also does airport transfers. The only thing that she will ask of you is to switch on the irrigation system for 15mins a day to keep her beautiful plants watered. The least you could do for the time spent in the beautiful back garden. I cant recommend this property highly enough. Excellent location, beautiful quiet complex and very helpful owner.
