Great thanksgiving trip with family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great house for our multigenerational family to share thanksgiving break. We spent the week cooking, playing games, hiking and beaching. The house was perfect in size with space to gather and enough room to space out too. The kitchen was well equipt to handle large meals. Kids loved the garage full of air hockey, pool table and the video games. Views were amazing and we loved sunset walks and watching all the wildlife. Great vacation spot - we will treasure our memories here.

Great house with incredible views~

We spent Friendsgiving here and loved the views and projector for a cozy weekend in. The trail to the beach near to the house was STUNNING. Highly recommend going if you stay here and the weather is nice.

Northern Lights - Girls Trip

The kitchen was the greatest and had everything you could possibly need. It opened up to a "Great" room that was wonderful and we were all able to visit with everyone being comfortable. The property was clean and well-maintained. Dillon's Beach was literally 5 minutes away and very nice, albeit windy when we were there. Our group rated it as a "10"and would definitely stay there again.

Great location for a family vacation

The house was thoughtfully laid out and very clean. Plenty of spaces for smaller groups with a kitchen, dining, and living space large enough for the whole family. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We just wished there was a cabinet that we could keep our food supplies in.The king bed upstairs was uncomfortable., too soft for us and the wood frame made it difficult to get in.Other than that we loved the house and open concept with the kitchen, dining room and living area. The dining room table is great for a large group.The location was great. We’d love to rent again.

Wonderful home!

My family and I were very impressed with this property. The kitchen was fully stocked and the whole home was impeccable. We had an issue with one of the showers, but the maintenance person came right away and fixed it. The location is beautiful and if you happen to have sun (which we did), it made for amazing pictures. The residence is very kid friendly and they have so many activities for the children - from board games, movies, a projector, play doh, basketball hoop, etc. I would recommend this property 100%. We would love to come back and create more memories.

Easter Vacation

Wonderful Stay

The place was perfect for our family. We had a blast even though the first couple of days were rainy. The hot tub and game room took care of the kids, (and us adult kids too). Place was clean and comfy. Only two notes of improvement, the basic essentials for spices and condiments could use a restocking and the "media binder" was more of "media pages" that seemed a bit outdated and spread through multiple cabinets. We were able to figure everything out though and it didn't detract from our wonderful stay.

Family time at Dillons

The kitchen was well stocked with supplies for making family meals. The projector tv was fun to watch movies in the evening. The home has lots of different spaces to hang out. The driveway was a little tight for our larger vehicles. I would say the bathrooms need a little love but overall a clean home. The bedroom near the hot tub also had a very musty smell. We used the game room and the hot tub. We had a little trouble with hot tub but property mgmt took care of it right away.

Thanksgiving

The house was perfect for our multi-generational family Thanksgiving trip. It was big, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of cooking utensils. The views both from the house and the street were stunning. Everyone in our party loved the space and the community.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home with very nice views. There was a cute little welcome basket with snacks waiting for us as well as music playing; very inviting. The kitchen had everything you’d need to stay in and cook. The men loved the projector and watching gigantic “tv”. The mattresses were too firm but not a huge deal. The dishwasher leaked and it took us a minute to figure where the water was coming from. Once we figured it out, we put a bowl down to catch the water; it all worked out fine. Beautiful and comfortable home just a short drive down to the beach. We would stay here again.

Tide Pool was the location 5 Kailua Dillon Beach

Would like to have this retreat an annual event. The house was great, so many entertainment opportunities that we didn’t have time to take advantage of. Only disappointment would be the condition of the hot tub, almost unusable due to water level, so only used once. The view and access to the beach were great.

Friends Getaway

Northern Lights was a great venue for an annual gathering of friends. Despite the somewhat rustic exterior, the interior was light, airy and tastefully decorated. We pride ourselves on our culinary abilities, and we made extensive use of the modern kitchen. The pool table was a big hit. Would book it again.
