Cross House Apartment ligger i centrum av denna populära, pittoreska och historiska by, bara 150 meter från slottet. Butiker, vänliga bypuber, härliga kaféer och unika bistroer ligger alla inom 20 meter men fastigheten erbjuder fortfarande en lugn tillflyktsort som ligger undan bakom huvudgatan. Warkworth domineras av sitt fina slott och promenader vid floden. Det är bara en 10 minuters promenad till den sandiga viken som sträcker sig från Alnmouth till Amble i ett område med enastående naturskönhet och ligger på kustvägen med över 20 mil gyllene sandstränder. Det är en idealisk semesterbasis för att utforska den fantastiska kustlinjen i närheten samt Cheviot-kullarna. Alnwick Castle and Gardens ligger 10 kilometer. We were meeting family, so wanted a central location in Warkworth.Accommodation was in an ideal position in the village, but at the back of owners own property so was lovely and quiet, with a beautiful enclosed garden for the dog to enjoy.The Accommodation was great, very cleanLovely very helpful hosts

The most wonderful property in a gorgeous area.The hosts were very helpful & friendly.Lovely walks, to the beach, along the river & to Amble. Loved the fact we could just park the car up & didn’t have to rely on it to get to places.

Fabulous

We wanted to travel to Northumberland as had never been and it didn’t disappoint. Absolutely beautiful in every way, stunning beaches, villages and fabulous accommodation.The apartment was just perfect for us and our 2 dogs.The garden was large and dog friendly and the accommodation so beautifully presented and we just loved everything it offered We ate locally and really liked the Masons Arms which was very dog friendly and lovely homemade food.Looking forward to visiting again soon

Great apartment and perfect location in Warkworth. Pubs, restaurants and cafes all in walking distance. Also very close to bus stops for coastal bus service. Lara was perfect host, very helpful and friendly. Will stay again

Short Break in Northumberland

Lovely property, had all we needed for our break. Situated in the heart of the village with more than enough choice of eating establishments on the doorstep to cater for our needs. Very helpful hosts who were a mine of information on the local area and dog friendly, what's not to like!

Warkworth Stay

We had a lovely short break at Cross House apartment. The property was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. It is superbly located for walks from the door along the coast north and south. The beaches in the area are beautiful, miles and miles of golden sands and clear water. There are also plenty of options within 50 metres of the property for eating out during the day and evening.

Perfect Dog Friendly Accommodation

My husband and I stayed for a week with our Labrador (Bramble). The flat was comfortable, clean and airy, and equipped with everything we could need. We loved the walled garden and the quirky architecture.

Lovely property in a great ocation

This excellent property in Warkworth is an ideal base from which to tour the wonderful sites of Northumberland. The apartment was clean and offered everything we needed. Warkworth has plenty of free parking, great pubs and restaurant options as well as being walking distance to the beach and other trail routes. The property and local pubs/restaurants are dog friendly. The accommodation and overal area are highly recommended.

We were immediately impressed with the quality of the property on entering and seeing the exquisite garden. the apartment was of an extremely high standard and Lara and Andy provided an excellent welcome pack. Warkworth is a beautiful location, perfectly positioned to visit all the best sights in Northumberland.

Lovely apartment in a great location

The apartment was lovely , light and airy ,very clean and well equipped . The enclosed garden is beautiful .We did very little cooking during our stay as the Masons Arms just across the road served lovely food as did Bertram’s. (And all dog friendly too!) The hosts were very friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Lots of brilliant places to visit in close proximity. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return here in the future!

Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in Warkworth with Lara and Andy, the apartment is very comfortable and well thought out and it was such a pleasure to have a lovely safe back garden to allow our escapologist border terrier Archie play in without fear of losing him. There is everything you need to have a relaxing holiday, with really helpful tips from Laura and Andy as to places to visit and walks to do. Check in is easy as is checking out. We would highly recommend this area to stay in, close to beautiful beaches and fabulous countryside.

Hi. Andy and Lara here! You are bound to meet us and our 2 little miniature poodles during your stay as we live in the main house at the front of the property. We are always pleased to answer any questions you have about the local area or generally just stop for a chat. Although we only moved to Warwkorth in 2016 we have been holidaying in the area for many years and often find we can give the original locals ideas on where to go!! We moved from busy West London and are loving the slower pace of life, friendly people and wide open areas Northumberland has to offer. We look forward to meeting you.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We are situated in the centre of the village about as close to all the local amenities as it is possible to be. Being walking distance to the beach is another huge plus for us. It is amazing to see the changes from season to season or even day to day. The studio is part of an original 1800's barn and still retains the exposed stone walls in parts of the property.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Guests have shared use of the large walled garden. Being directly on a regular bus route means taking the car out every day is not a necessity. There is also a lot to do directly in the village. Nearby Amble offers boat trips and a harbour. And you can even walk 6 miles along the beach to the next village Alnmouth.
