Fredlig, vattnet hus med brygga inbäddat i en halv tunnland gran och cederträ på Davison Head är en oas av naturlig skönhet och lugn. Från cedertäcken med utsikt över avskild Neil Bay kan du höra ljudet av skalliga örnar, blåhäger och kungsfiskare. En trevlig 15 minuters promenad tar dig till hamnen i Roche Harbour och flygplatsen där du kan njuta av en mataffär, shopping och prisbelönt mat. Huset ligger 20 minuters bilresa från färjeterminalen i Friday Harbor.

Detta över 4000 kvadratmeter hem erbjuder en varm atmosfär med sin cederträkonstruktion och körsbärsvedhällsgolv. Den öppna planlösningen och fantastisk utsikt över vattnet lämnar gästerna i vördnad när de kommer in i hemmet. Gourmet köket med öppna granskåp är ett välkomnande område för att njuta av lokala råvaror och skaldjur bounty från ön. Vardagsrummet är ett soligt område för läsning eller en kort tupplur efter en cykeltur på ön. Ett separat rum innehåller HD-TV och gaspis för de kallare kvällarna.

En master svit på övervåningen har en king size-säng, duschkabin och badkar med en magnifik utsikt över vattnet. En andra gäst sovrum på övervåningen har en queen size-säng med eget bad och dusch. Det tredje sovrummet på huvudnivån har också en queen size-säng med ett intilliggande badkar och kombination badkar / dusch. Det finns ett extra badrum på huvudnivå som också har en duschkabin.

En rymlig dagsljuskällare har ett spelrum inklusive ett biljardbord / bordtennisbord, kort och bordsfotbänk. Strax utanför är vägen till den privata flytande kajen där en mängd vattenaktiviteter kan avnjutas, inklusive kajakpaddling, paddling och paddleboarding.

The best

This was our second time staying at this property, and it hopefully won’t be our last. Our family had the best time. The location is ideal (quiet, but still close to the harbor) and the home is spacious and quite comfortable. Owners are the sweetest people too. Love this place.

Loved our stay!

The house was perfect for us… We loved the clean, private, cozy house! The house had everything we needed. The dock was great too! We were able to catch fish and go for relaxing boat rides. We just might be back!

Fun Weekend in the San Juans

This house was a lot bigger than I expected. The layout was perfect for our 4 couples. We were able to all have our own bathroom which is such a bonus when traveling. Kitchen was equipped for us to cook our meals. Thank you!

Great Place to Relax and Enjoy the Island

We loved the personality of the home: the artwork, the wood floors and ceilings, the quality of everything that made it feel like we were staying with friends who trusted us with their home. It felt very private, but the views were lovely. There was plenty of room for us to spread out--even those who had to take a few work calls. We loved the outdoor deck and saw bioluminescence from the dock. All in all, a five-star experience!

Perfect for Our Stay

Great place for our needs. The house was well maintained and worked very well for 3 adult couples. Very close to Roche which was part of what we were looking for. We were able to use the dock for our boat at the appropriate tides. Had a fabulous stay, including the deer in the yard!

Comfortable Waterfront Home

Wonderful location close to Roche Harbor. We loved the secluded location and lovely deck. Private dock for launching paddle boards and kayaks was why we chose this home. Odd for owner to show up unannounced and use the boat dock in the middle of our stay.

September Sibling Reunion

What fun we had in such a lovely environment! Our four-night stay consisted of a sibling/spouse get-together, including seven members of my family, mostly from the mid-west. The house was beautiful and perfect to allow plenty of time for varied interactions and also space for privacy. The grounds were attractive and the dock was fun. We were able to watch sunsets from the community beach and walk the pleasant neighborhood.

Thanksgiving celebrations

Thanksgiving is a special time in our family. We not only celebrate Thanksgiving, but two birthdays and a wedding anniversary as well. We have made the Roche Harbor area of San Juan Island a tradition over the past five years and normally it’s just our family of three, but this year we brought along three others, hence the need for a larger home. What a thrill it was to find this wonderful home available. We immediately felt relaxed and at home the moment we stepped inside. For a larger space than we are used to staying in, it was SO cozy. Communications with the property manager were very clear. Instructions were easy to follow and understand. The home was spotless and the amenities were as advertised. I would definitely recommend this for a party of six as we had.

fabulous house

this is a great vacation home, very roomy well stocked nicely decorated, it exceeded our expectations, we all had a great time and hope to be back sometime. P.S. the fresh flowers were a nice touch, we loved the Sweet Peas a lot!!! P.S.S. one of us twisted her ankle on the first day going down the deck to the water, those rocks have to be replaced with something safer. A sign is not good enough. Thanks, Shira

Island journey

Overall we were delighted with the property and the ease of dealing with any minor issue. The management company was very responsive and prompt in resounding. It was a bonus to have a game room with ping pong, pool and fuse ball. Our suggestion is that there be fold up beach chairs or light weight chairs that could be taken to the dock to socialize and enjoy the view. Also, the kitchen could use more plastic, leftover containers and measuring utensils. Otherwise, it's a perfect place!

We used the dock for our paddleboards - but not at low tide. The only thing missing were drinking glasses in the kitchen - the largest non-wine glasses are just 4 oz juice glasses. Please get some 12 or 16 oz glasses! If that's the only thing we could think of to write - then it's was really all good.

Great house for our family

The house worked great for our family, there were 3 couples & 2 young children in our group & there was plenty of space for us. One negative was the lack of lighting out on the deck. We had a fire in the fire pit one night & had a hard time getting down the path because it was so dark. We could not find any kind of porch light out there. Rather dangerous. Other than that, it's a nice place for families. we would love to go back!
