WHALE WATCH BEACH RETREAT - AMAZING PRIVATE BEACH! Njut av sörjande utsikten över Harosundet med Vancouver Island i backdroppen från utomhusbadet eller någon av de expansiva tre däcken.

Detta är en bra egenskap att titta på valar gå av eller att starta din egen privata kajak. Den här egenskapen är inget annat än perfekt. Med sin privata strand, rymliga gräsplan och mediarum du inte får slut på aktiviteter här. Gourmet köket är fullt utrustat och gränsar till matsalen så att dina gäster kan gå med dig när du förbereder en utsökt måltid.

Det stora sovrummet omfattar hela 3: e våningen och har en egen sittgrupp med elektrisk spis. Befälhavaren Badrummet är öppen till sovrummet så att du fortfarande kan njuta av milsvid utsikt. De andra två sovrummen ligger på bottenvåningen på vardera sidan av posten korridoren och dela ett bad också belägna i den korridoren. Ett av sovrummen har också en mysig dagbädd.

Mot vattnet sidan av huset är ett annat lounging område med mycket bekväma sittplatser och fantastisk utsikt över Haro Strait och Vancouver Island. Nedervåningen har en cedertvinkällare (Ta med ditt eget vin) med ett höftprovningsbord som rymmer två.

Medierna rum har en stor platt-TV för Satellit-TV eller titta på en av de många Blueray DVD som tillhandahålls. Detta media rum har också en utfällbar soffa, kök och eget badrum med duschkabin. Trådlöst internet finns tillgängligt i hela huset och alla nivåer har utanför sittplatser på däck för att njuta av den vackra solnedgången här på San Juan Island västra sida. Stunning Haro Strait vacation home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at Whale Watch. The home is spacious and comfortable. It easily accommodated our group of 8 ranging from 3 years old to grandparents. By far the best feature of this home is its location on Haro Strait. The views are incredible. Everyone loved exploring the rocky beach front. We enjoyed watching river otters, seals, sea lions, harlequin ducks, and various other birds. The highlight was getting to watch J and K pods of southern resident orcas travel by for over an hour and a half. We have been fortunate to see orcas directly from the house both times we’ve stayed!!! Highly recommend this vacation rental!

Gorgeous views!

We had a lovely stay. The home was so comfortable, and a perfect layout for our family - we have two kids in the downstairs bedrooms and the upstairs bedroom was a fantastic retreat for us! The bed up there was so comfortable, I usually don't notice that one way or another, but it really stood out. The hot tub had an amazing view and was easy to use and access right from the main level. The private beach was a treat, the kids loved throwing rocks in the water and exploring. Great yard too, lots of room to play both inside and outside. Top notch place!

Fantastic house in ideal location

House is perfectly situated on a quiet, beautiful road overlooking the water! House is clean, spacious, bright, and was perfect for our trip! Convenient, central location on the island makes everything a short and easy drive! Booking, check-in, and check-out were all simple, with quick and clear communication start to finish. The whole experience was even better than expected!

Incredible house

House was great. Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. Decks, beach, grounds were perfect for playing or enjoying the views. We saw whales everyday and views were even better in person.

I cried because we didn't want to leave!

From the moment you hit the harbor and drive the winding roads to the home, it is like stepping into paradise. When you pull into the property, the view is stunning. The house is clean and very comfortable. We had one rainy and cold day and were so content to stay at the house and have a cozy day inside. It has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The hot tub was super clean and just the right temp. If we ever have the chance to return to San Juan, we would have to stay here or it just wouldn't compare. Do yourself a favor and book this house!!! As a side note, the property management team was spectacular. So friendly and easy to work with. They even helped us with restaurants and suggestions of things to do on the island. Seriously, it was the perfect vacation!

Whale Watch Beach for Memorial Day

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house along with a 3 other couples for Memorial Day. We booked it for the view, the hot tub, and space to play outdoors and it did not disappoint. The sleeping arrangements were plenty suitable for a group of our size and there were ample spots for afternoon naps. The property was in good condition and quite clean when we arrived. There were plenty of options for running laundry and well-stocked cleaning supplies. We would highly recommend this property and management company. This property is really close to Roche Harbor and the drive between is littered with farm stands, bucolic pastures, and an alpaca farm! We ate lunch at Lime Kiln Cafe and highly recommend the donuts. We are already dreaming about our return!

Too bad about the blinds

When you pay a lot of money every night for a vacation rental, you expect there to be decent light blocking in the bedrooms. Otherwise, as soon as the sun rises you're waking up probably earlier than you want to be. Unfortunately this place, the master bedroom had windows without coverings. And even the windows that did have coverings, the coverings were extremely translucent and ineffective at what you expect them to do, block light from coming in. The other bedroom suffered from the same problem, the blinds are useless when they are letting light in. I notify the property but they pretty much just ignored me. Also, whatever remodel happened to this place was a complete train wreck! You can't even sit down on the toilet in the master bathroom without banging your head on the cupboard behind you

Smugglers Cove Orcas

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So we stayed here at the end of Sept. for 5 nights. We caught perfect weather and beautiful sunsets. The location on Smugglers Cove is outstanding! All of us kept our eyes on the water continously to spot Orcas, which we did see.Now to the house. The property needs a refresh. The carpets are bunched up in places. Some of the furniture is well worn and the house itself needs some maintenance like paint and some deck boards replaced. Also the electronics need some attention with missing components and a broken DVD player.But, I guess we were paying for location which this property has in spades!

Peaceful stay in perfect location

First visit to SJI, purposefully to see orcas - as part of my parents 50th anniversary trip. We saw orcas every day for the 4 days, twice off the deck here! Plenty of space for all to get comfortable. Kitchen worked well for us cooking most meals at home. So quiet comfortable and clean. I would recommend a stay here. My only critique is we didn’t find the beds to be to our liking, we’re used to a softer mattress.

Whale Watch Beach Retreat Stay

This property is breathtaking and in a quiet location. Sitting on the deck, enjoying the view, and listening to nature was amazing. We saw whales breach on multiple occasions. This property is a gem and such a welcomed break from the city!

Unbelievable spot

Absolutely loved our stay. I watched bald eagles every morning at sunrise, seals everyday at low tide, otters at play multiple times a day and even a pod of orcas once- all from the deck. Easy drive to restaurants and parks. The house has everything you need and was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We will be back

PNW Island Paradise!

We are an active group of 5 who booked this house to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. It did not disappoint! Plenty of space for everyone and then some. The view was fantastic and we enjoyed having the private beach. The house location was a quick drive to Roche Harbor as well as Friday Harbor. We found it to be conveniently located. We would definitely recommend this house to others.

Great spot for relaxation and being in nature. Very quiet and nice private beach. We cooked one night and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Lovely house with magical views

We celebrated Thanksgiving at the house with another family and we had a blast. The house is enormous with beautiful grounds, perfect for the kids to run around in. We all enjoyed the private beach and ate all our meals looking at the views. Magical place. Would love to go back some day.
