The Villa Honolulu is a stunning 4-bedroom holiday home offering all the comfort for unforgettable holidays. Located in Quinta da Balaia, it provides easy access to Albufeira's centre, restaurants, bars, and golden sandy beaches.

On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms: 1 twin and 1 main double room, both with private bathrooms. Hall doors open to a spacious terrace, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the landscape.

The other 2 twin bedrooms are located on the ground floor, along with an additional bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living/dining room has comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi and television, with access to a cosy sunny room, ideal for relaxation moments.

Externally, the property is walled and fenced, ensuring total privacy. The large closable heated pool (optional extra) is at the back of the property, also featuring an excellent barbecue area and a spacious outdoor dining patio, all in a serene environment protected from the Algarve heat.

Ideal for couples and families, the villa is 5 minutes by car from Santa Eulália, Maria Luísa, and Oura beaches. Located in a quiet residential area, Quinta da Balaia provides easy access to Albufeira's centre, the Strip, Oura Beach, and Olhos de Água. Additionally, it is near shops, restaurants, water sports, and a short distance from several golf courses.

Renting a car is not necessary, but if you'd like to, we’re happy to assist with booking upon request. We can also help arrange transfers if needed.

Pool heating is always an added value for your holiday, especially when traveling with children. When the pool heating is activated, the water temperature will always be 5ºC to 8ºC higher than it would be without heating.

Changeover day is on Saturday (however, there may be flexibility in low season).

If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and do not match the property's changeover day, please send us an inquiry before booking to confirm if your dates can be accommodated.

Great villa

This is our third stay in this villa and all being well we will be booking again for next year. It suits our group with its ease of getting to the old town and strip but is also quiet, private and relaxing for those pool days.

Fantastic Location

Overall, our stay at the villa in Albufeira was fantastic, especially for a holiday with friends. The villa offered a perfect blend of comfort, entertainment, and convenience. The location was superb. Situated close to amenities, we had easy access to shops, restaurants, and bars, which made it convenient for us to explore the area. Highly recommended.

We love this villa

We’ve stayed in this villa for a week for the last few years. The pool is a fantastic size, downstairs is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped. We love it. Only comments for improvement would be: A cover for the pool - especially out of season when it’s heated. Upgrading of the upstairs bathrooms - the downstairs ones have been done and they are fabulous, but the upstairs ones are a little dated, and the plumbing could do with an upgrade - the shower drain gurgles when the toilet is flushed. However, the above would not stop us staying in this beautiful villa. We look forward to visiting again next year. Thank you

Fabulous Spacious Villa

The Villa was spacious and luxurious the outside area was also really family friendly with a gated pool area. The villa was approx 10-15 mins walk to New Town and only 10 min in a taxi to Old Town. We had a lovely time holiday in the Villa.

Great Stay

We had a lovely week at this villa. The pool was lovely and the outside seating was good. Although the wooden chairs outside a couple of them were broken and they could have done with cushions on them. We used the Barbecue a couple of times which was great. The shower in the one of the upstairs bathrooms could do with replacing as it is looking a bit tired, but the other showers were lovely and looked new. It was about a ten minute walk to a big Aldi store but we did have cars so we drove quite a bit to Intermarche shop which was really good. Would definately recommend this property to family and friends.

nice house, a bit outside the centre.

The house booked is as desceibed and has all amenities you can ask for. This was as expected. The online and local support from Olivia and Martin were quick and professional which was really needed. BUT the whole booking experience is confusing, unclear, fragmented and above all stressfull. Tons of documents (all claimed mandatory , even for eu citizens traveling in the eu) , various confirmation mails from different email accounts and intermediate companies give you a vibe of phishing and fraud. You travel to the location hoping that all will be well. NOT what i expect from the companies owning vrbo. I will not book again until this is in min 2024 state.

Lovely spacious villa with own pool

Family of 7 stayed in this lovely spacious villa. The lovely outdoor garden with own pool has its own entertainment of a pool table and a football table, although depending what time of year you go it may be a bit cold of a night to play pool outside. The inside is big and has a conservatory where we spent most of our nights chilling with a beer or two even after we had been out for meals or out into Albufeira centre. There are two ensuit bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms and a family bathroom downstairs, which suited my husband and I and the kids as we had our own private space downstairs. The villa is minutes away by car to Albufeira strip, and easy access to ohlos de Agua bars and restraunts and easy access to vilamoura. would recommendation a car although it’s about a 20minute walk to Albufeira strip. There is a shop near by which is quite well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay here. We did pay for pool heating and although the pool isn’t that warm it does take away the chill of the water during the early months, (we went in May). One problem we occured during our stay was by the end of the week the downstairs family bathroom was covered with ants they had made their way into my toiletry bag and were all over the bathroom sinks and floor. Thinking there must be a nest outside. Hopefully this will get sorted. Other than this we had a lovely time and would recommend this villa.

Vakantiehuis was ok, organisatie laat veel te wensen over

Nadat we aangekomen waren bleek dat de boiler nog op spaarstand stond dus van warm douchen was geen sprake, toch vervelend als je de gehele dag onderweg bent geweest afgezien van de mogelijke legionella besmetting die kan ontstaan bij een te lage temperatuur. De volgende dag zou Martin Chambers om 9h30 uitleg komen geven, hij arriveerde om 10h00. Alle issues besproken (warm water, handdoeken, batterijen voor kluisje, info omtrent de omgeving, dekens), het zou allemaal geregeld worden.Warm water hebben we uiteindelijk een aantal malen voor moeten bellen, handdoeken (2 sets per gast er was slechts 1 set aanwezig) zouden na paar dagen geleverd worden, helaas we hebben moeten bidden en smeken en zijn uiteindelijk zelf maar gaan wassen. Batterijen zijn nooit geleverd, we moesten maar gebruik maken van kluisje in de keuken waar geen kluisje aanwezig is. Huis was koud omdat het de voorgaande 3 weken slecht weer was geweest, er is geen mogelijkheid om de huiskamer, badkamers, keuken te verwarmen. Uiteindelijk werd er één bijzet-oliekacheltje geregeld van 2000 watt wat veel en veel te weinig is voor al deze ruimtes. 2 dagen na aankomst ging de buurman de gehele dag met een kettingzaag aan de gang. Contact opgenomen met Algarve vacation, we moesten de politie maar bellen want zij deden niets met deze melding. Ook het terugstorten van de borg ging zeer moeizaam en is tot op heden nog steeds niet ontvangen. Huis is prima op wat kleine zaken na, organisatie laat veel te wensen over.

Sehr sauber, großartiger poolbereich mit Kicker, Billard und Grill. Schöne Zimmer und eine gut eingerichtete Küche Leider war die Nachbarschaft, i sbesondere bei der Heimkehr in der Nacht.

Großzügige Unterkunft, sehr gut ausgestattet, super Pool und eigentlich ruhig gelegen, wenn die Müllabfuhr nachts nicht wäre. Wir haben nichts vermisst.

September getaway

We stayed here last year and had a great time and was not disappointed this year either. Fantastic location. We had a small problem with the pool which took just one phone call and even though it was a Sunday someone arrived within a couple of hours to sort the problem out. Would highly recommend this property, also the friendly and helpful people involved.

Fire alarm went off twice at 4am! No basic utilities (cork screw, scrub pads, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, toilet rolls etc) Toilet blocked! Very very old fashioned - needs a major modernisation!

Lovely villa in a quiet location

The villa is as listed, spacious and has everything you need. It was very clean on our arrival, the pool was checked and cleaned regularly whilst we were there. Plenty of towels for the week stay, love that they also supplied towels for the sunbeds. The villa is located in a quiet area with Aldi a short walk away so we could stock up on water etc daily. We did use ubers to get around in the evenings, they weren't expensive and there were plenty of them. The villa is advertised as sleeping 8+2. There were 10 of us and we were expecting 2 x put up beds, but when we got there they were on the landing and we had to decide where to put them. One had to go downstairs in the lounge as there was no room upstairs to put it. It wasn't too much of an issue but we felt that this could be better explained. Also there were only 8 sunbeds so we had to ring for another two. To be fair they did respond quickly and we had them the following day. Also the water wasn't hot for all of us to have showers, again when we rang up about it, it was sorted the following day. The villa does seem to be in need of refreshing, one of the cupboard doors is loose and the doors to the sun lounge at the rear are a little difficult to open and close. The main lounge however, does seem to have been refurbished with lovely comfy leather settees to sit on. As stated the villa is in a quiet location, we had a relaxing holiday and would definitely recommend booking it for a holiday.
