Vår lilla, fem enhet komplex ligger precis vid viken, med stora, tropiska trädgårdar, uteplatser beach front och grillar, och ett individuellt solterass att kalla din egen, komplett med bord, stolar och parasoll. Koppla av och läsa tidningen på morgonen, eller njuta av middag och titta på solnedgången.

Interiören är dekorerad med en tropisk känsla, inklusive rottingmöbler i sovrummet, matsal och levande område-men vi har hållit och reupholstered allas favorit vintage fåtöljer. Var noga med att titta på vår inramade samling av svarta och vita stranden bilder tagna på fastigheten på 1930-talet och 1940-talet.

Sovrummet har en king size-säng och klädkammare. Drottningen storlek bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet rymmer två personer bekvämt.

Caféet på stranden för all-you-can-eat pannkaka frukostar, casual luncher och avkopplande middagar är bara några steg bort. Livsmedelsbutiker och restauranger är 3 kvarter bort, och den fria vagnen tar dig upp och ner ön.

Peaceful place

Quaint, quiet and so close to the beach

Great place to stay on Anna Maria Island

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bamboo Apt 2. It was a challenge trying to find a one bedroom/one bath place to stay, but this fit our needs perfectly. The owner, Alice, is a wonderful hostess and a pleasure to talk to. We were greeted with a welcoming sign on the door and a lovely gift basket inside. Highly recommend.

wonderful place!

We stayed in apartment #2. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the island so easy to walk or bike to either end. The beach which is expansive and lovely for long walks and sun sets is just steps from the place. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Alice was wonderful as a host with quick communication. It was a perfect place to stay!

Amazing! I will be back!

The place was just as pictured and described. I felt like I was in my own beautiful, peaceful place or home— not a busy, loud resort. I enjoyed so much watching the wildlife— Kingfishers, Pelicans, Hawks, Sandpipers, squirrels. The plants and trees create a beautiful haven there. It was so convenient to have beach chairs and umbrella handy for the short walk to the gorgeous beach in your backyard. The accommodations were clean and homey, like visiting a friend (who happens to live in paradise)!

Perfect Oasis

My husband and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary at bamboo apartments. One of the things that made us stay there with the proximity of the apartment to the beach. In less than a minute and a half we were from our front door to the water. The property is beautifully landscaped and the view from our front door it was gorgeous. The apartment itself is decorated beautifully and it’s very comfortable. We also really appreciate it having access to everything we needed for the beach. Chairs umbrella towels. This is a place that we want to make a tradition in our family.

tidy "Old-Florida" charm - very simple and clean.

Like Florida used to be before it was carpeted with condos! We love going to the Bamboo Apartments - owner is very accommodating and welcoming. Clean and tidy - lots of shade under Australian pines - right on the beach. Reasonably priced. We always make a stop at the surf shop down the street. I am a Florida native and Anna Maria is our favorite beach community. Beautiful beaches for sunning and swimming, great places to eat, very casual atmosphere. You can ride bikes everywhere or take the trolley. No pool, if that matters.

Hi! Our family has owned this property since 1971. My grandparents built it as their retirement home, and now it belongs to us. My mom, Gladys, is on the left in this photo, and that's me, Alice, on the right. Mom passed away in 2014, but her spirit of hospitality continues. I live up in Tampa, and visit the beach every weekend with my husband and family.

Our family has always loved the Island, especially this spot, since my grandparents had friends from Tampa who lived close by. The apartment has a beautiful view of the beach across a garden and wildflower meadow. Our gulf-front patio has towering Australian pine trees, so you can sit in the shade on hot days, and feel a glorious breeze. The patio adjacent to the apartment is perfect for sunbathing even in the winter, because it's shielded from the wind. The Island has an old-fashioned small town vibe, so you can leave your cares behind.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our apartment is part of our five-unit family-owned complex, all one story duplexes. Our guests tell us they love the ease of walking out the door right onto a patio to read the paper, grill out, or just relax, without the hassle of stairs and long walks often found in condominiums. Families especially appreciate it, since the beach is just across the meadow it's easy to take the little ones to the water's edge, without a long walk toting 'beach stuff.' This year, we had a family of green herons nest in one of the pine trees, and everyone enjoyed waiting for the eggs to hatch. We also had a turtle's nest right on the beach in front of our place!
