Lägenheten har precis renoverats i en traditionell Porto-byggnad belägen på en gammal populär gata som gör att du kan besöka Porto till fots!

Mycket bekväma och väl ljudisolerade.
I slutet av dagen kan du komma tillbaka med försäkran om avkoppling medan du har ett portvin i denna mycket bekväma, rymliga och utsökta lägenhet!

Lägenheten har ett fullt utrustat kök med keramikhäll, ugn, kyl, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, brödrost, espressomaskin, vattenkokare, etc.
Den har wi-fi och Full HD Smart TV (högupplöst) med Internet-åtkomst (med tillgång till Youtube, spel och dina favoritapplikationer).

Den har två kompletta badrum och tre sovrum:

1 - det lila sovrummet med en imponerande säng i traditionell portugisisk Dona Maria-stil i palisander från det första decenniet av 1800-talet, med en bekväm madrass på 1,40 x 2,00

Det är ett mycket bekväma rum, vars enda öppning är en stor skjutdörr i glas till den ljusa entrén på den lilla balkongen.
Den har tjocka gardiner för att skära ljuset när så önskas.

2 - Det gröna sovrummet med en bekväm king-size säng på 1,80 x 2,00 som också kan delas upp i två enkelsängar.
Madrassen är av högsta kvalitet och sovrummet har tjocka persienner och gardiner för totalt mörker så att du får en god vila!

3 - det röda sovrummet, varmt och välkomnande, med en bäddsoffa som öppnas och förvandlas till en bekväm dubbelsäng på 1,40 x 2,00 och med tjocka persienner och gardiner för totalt mörker.
Detta rum fungerar som ett förrum till det gröna rummet (du kommer in i det gröna rummet genom det)
För gröna och röda rum för upp till 4 personer är en stor svit med sovrum och förrum med badrum med badkar.

Lägenheten är möblerad och dekorerad med olika gamla portugisiska bitar från vår familj så att du kan njuta av maximal komfort och förfining i detta Porto-hus!

Good location and parking

Manuela checked us in, meeting us at the parking garage and walking us over to the apartment. The parking garage is outside the restricted zone but maybe 50 m from the rental. The street is a bit bohemian with “working ladies” plying their trade out of a building across the street. Prostitution is legal in Portugal and they and their clients were no problem. The area is safe and an easy walk onto the main streets of central Porto. The apartement is as listed. Neither bedroom has ensuite bath, but the rooms are quite separate. Manuela was lovely :). We did have an issue with the stove top - a quartz hob. The discs once heated and turned off prevent you from using any other disc until the "H" for hot turns off. So, if you are cooking in, don't turn off your disc until you have everything cooked! If I could have given 4.5 stars, I would have - essentially 0.5 a star off as the apartment was a bit musty - BUT it rained the entire time we were in Porto, so I have no doubt that if we could have aired it, it would have been fine. :)

One of the best VRBO’s in 20 years

I’ve been renting VRBOs for over 20 years and this was the best supplied I’d ever encountered. There was every possible essential needed for our 12 day stay. We found it a perfect location from which to enjoy all of Porto. Manuela was an extremely supportive host. The check in was thorough, warm and friendly with lots of information to support a good understanding of Porto. We highly, highly recommend!!

Beautiful, elegant, cozy apartment in perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous apartment in the center of Porto. The host was very kind and provided recommendations on where to have lunch, and left a bowl of fresh fruit and wine for our stay. We would love to come again and recommend it to everyone looking for a nice family vacation.

Wonderful Experience, Wonderful Owners

Jorge and Manuela were amazing hosts! We stayed as their guests for 5 weeks. When we arrived, we were greeted by Jorge who gave us a map with areas/restaurants/things to do marked. We were also greeted with champagne, wine, port, fresh fruits, and chocolates!The area was close to the city center, churches, Ribeira, Gaia (for port tastings), and the shopping areas, which was an ideal location for walking and exploring. We did not realize what a foodie area Porto was and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurants that you could walk to were amazing.This apartment was very spacious, especially by European standards, and exceptionally well stocked. Jorge and Manuela made sure that we had everything we could possibly need. We stayed for 5 weeks and they had the apartment cleaned every week which was so nice! The beds were very comfortable. Bedrooms are split providing privacy from each other. There are stairs as stated in the listing. Americans would do well to remember that in America (except NY as far as I know) we count the ground floor as 1. In Europe it is usually counted as 0. Therefore there were more stairs than we expected but they were easy to traverse. When we travel back to Porto, these owners would be our first choice of properties to return to visit. Their pride of ownership shows, not only in the property, but in the hospitality.Thank you Jorge and Manuela for making our stay so memorable!

Great spot

Jorge was a great communicator and accommodated us for an early check in. He provided everything we could need. The apartment was beautifully furnished, spacious, and comfortable. We were a five minute uber from downtown Porto so it was very convenient. The little neighborhood had a nice breakfast cafe around the corner for great coffee and several restaurants within walking distance. It’s a typical working class neighborhood so you’re living like a local. Many thanks to Jorge, a consummate host.

Fabulous experience!!

Our first time to Porto & we are so happy that we picked this place! Jorge was so kind and accommodating. He made it a very easy process. This place exceeded our expectations. It was super clean and beautifully decorated. Loved the layout. We had everything we needed plus some nice added treats! The area is a great location to get to all the attractions we wanted to see. I felt very safe the whole time too. We will stay here again!!

Very comfortable accomodation in a very convenient neighborhood!

Manuela and Jorge provide wonderful accomodations for their guests! They care for guests like family rather than clients! The accomodations were beyond expextation... wine, fruit and morning drinks were there for us! The location was very convenient and the apartment very clean and safe. Manuela was generous with her time providing a map and pointing out interesting places we may want to visit.

Excellent location, great space!

Very lovely apartment within walking distance to many sites. The hosts were very knowledgeable of the area and presented us with many options to visit and have a great meal that proved to be excellent. The apartment was very large with an art deco feel. Two flights of stairs were not difficult for us (2 of us are 70 plus).The weather was super and the hills manageable. The beds were very comfortable and there were little treats for us to eat and drink. The marble kitchen sink was amazing ! We would book again in a heartbeat.

Exceptional

The apartment was perfect.We had 4 people on the group including a married couple. There was a very private and large bedroom and bathroom for them which afforded privacy. There were 2 other very large, spacious bedrooms and a second bathroom. All the rooms were well furnished with excellent style. It was also helpful to have a clothes-washing machine in the apartment. The hostess met with us at length and answered any questions we had. This was an outstanding short-term rental. I definitely recommend it.

Wonderful stay in Porto

Manuela was very helpful upon arrival to Porto, meeting us at the parking garage a few blocks from the apartment. She guided us to the apartment and was a wonderful help with suggestions on restaurants and sites to see while we were in town. The apartment itself was very nice and conveniently located in the old town. About the only "downside" was the street noise in the primary bedroom in the early morning but considering the location of the apartment, it was to be expected. Definitely a recommended stay from us.

Lovely place

This charming and spacious appartement was fun to return to after walking Porto. Bring good comfortable shoes! The breakfast place on the corner was convenient. Thank you Manuela and Jorge for making us feel at home and giving us lots of suggestions with indications on the map. Even in the crowds of São Joäo, we felt safe in Porto. The calm of the Portuguese people was a delight.

Perfect Vacation Home

It was perfect from the start. The apartment was located in the heart of town and was very pleasant. We were greeted by our very hospitable host, Manuela. There was a huge basket of fruits and a bottle of port and other drinks waiting for us. Then she went to great lengths to recommend places of interests and restaurants on the map, all of which were spot on. We have no doubt that we will be back to stay longer the next time around.

Stylish, Well-Maintained, Comfortable

I stayed five weeks in this large comfortable apartment. It is well-furnished with a full kitchen, two complete bathrooms, and three bedrooms. The living room is large and comfortable, and there are three places to gather to eat: the kitchen, balcony table, and dining table. The bedrooms are private, and there are doors to insure sound proofing within the apartment between bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces. I loved the neighborhood--close to everything but not too busy except on weekends. The hosts were responsive and went out of their way to answer questions and to tell me what to see in the neighborhood and beyond. I would recommend this apartment--a five star experience in lovely Porto!

Wonderful Stay In Porto

Very comfortable, chic apartment was great home base for our stay in Porto area with my son and his wife. Property is well equipped and spotless! Owner gave a full orientation and recommendations for shopping, dining and attractions. The indoor parking garage (~3 blocks away) was a HUGE bonus providing 24hr, simple vehicle access to support our day trips to Douro Valley, Aveiro and Guimaraes day trips. Grocery store right down the block and many sites in Central Porto in walking distance. Highly recommend and hope to return.

Highly recommend! A special place in a great location.

This apartment is a special place and in a great location. The owners take great pride which is evident throughout. The beds were very comfortable, the home was very well equipped with everything you'd need. Communication with Jorge was wonderful and informative. He even made reservations for us at a restuarant. The large grocery store is just a 1/2 block away which was super convenient. Many stores and restaurants just a block away and very easy to walk everywhere else. If you don't feel like walking, it's easy to get an Uber or Bolt quickly. Internet was slow but besides that, it was a 10. We highly recommend!!

Great home base for exploring Porto

Great apartment in the heart of the city

Clean, roomy, well equipped apartment. Walking distance to Old Town and many sightseeing spots. Cafe around the corner and many restaurants. The host has been very helpful in pointing out the best spots to see in Porto. Highly recommend the apartment.

The apartment is very well located in the centre of Porto, in an old and popular street of San Lazaro neighbourhood (the garden of San Lazaro is the oldest public garden of the city and a reference in the centre of the city).

The location is excellent for getting around on foot in the historic centre of Porto that is five minutes’ walk from the apartment, or to walk to the bars area.

It is five minutes’ walk from Santa Catarina street, where you will find the iconic Cafe Majestic and many interesting shops, and five minutes’ walk from the fantastic Bolhão Market, Coliseu Concert Hall, and the National Theatre S. João.

Several good restaurants of Portuguese cuisine are at two minutes’ walk, as also supermarkets, bakery, butcher, fish, fruits and vegetables, etc.

The apartment does not have parking in the building, but at 50 meters from the apartment we have a garage for you to park your car.

Excellent public transport links, underground station at 200 meters with direct line to the airport.
At the airport take the metro to Porto and get off at station "Campo 24 de Agosto" Once in "Campo 24 de Agosto" square take Fernandes Tomás street, walk 100 meters, take the first left and you reach the apartment 100 meters ahead!
If you come by car, the apartment includes free parking in a garage 100 meters from the building
