Shell Beach hem ligger tvärs över gatan från Shell Beach så att de kvällen eller tidigt på morgonen promenader längs stranden är bara några steg bort.

När du vill stanna i hemmet för att luta sig tillbaka, njuta av satellit-TV i vardagsrummet och sovrummet. Om du hellre vill titta på den film du har tänkt att se, är den stora TV, DVD-spelare, och stereoljud i vardagsrummet precis rätt. Eller njuta av din favorit bok eller CD medan utsträckt på en av de många fönster platser i hemmet.

För gäster med mer än 2 bilar kan eventuella ytterligare bilar användas för att gå till och från huset utan ett pass, men måste stanna kvar på andra sätt. På gatan parkering är inte tillåtet. Det mesta av vårt hus kommer inte att rymma mer än 3 bilar. Eventuella frågor om ENDAST parkeringsbegränsningar och överfyllningsparkering måste prata med Sea Ranch Association (707) 785-2444. Shell Beach House

Loved this house. Great ocean views, close to the bluff trail, not too far from town. Fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, working hot tub, beautiful living space. We walked to Walkon Beach and looked at the seals on our way. Would stay here again!

This house is perfectly located in the Sea Ranch. Yes, some fixtures are a bit dated but the place was clean and well appointed. I would definitely rent this lovely place again

Great experience !

The location is wonderful! Close to the ocean, the seals, "spooky woods", the playground.... My family and I all found The Shell Beach House to be very homey and comfortable! We enjoyed the view from pretty much every room, watching the wildlife in our own yard, enjoying the night sky from the hot tub (which is in a lovely garden). Although it's an older home, (which some people don't like) it was very clean and functional! My chef son appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and grill. We all agreed we would love to spend next year's family trip there!

Good house. Great location! Owner needs to do some minor maintenance and I hope they are done by the time the next guest arrives. Thin walls so you can hear everything going on in every room. But it’s a good sea ranch home.

Lovely Family Vacation at Shell Beach

My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at Shell Beach. It was our second time staying at this house and the location cannot be beat. The views of the ocean are stunning as well. The house is very comfortable, but not fancy. They even had toys and books that my daughter enjoyed. We will definitely return.

Great location-run down home

Online pictures didn't show the broken and missing tiles, old baseboards , broken screens or no sliding screen & broken handles including the bathroom shower doors. The lights in kitchen are dirty and you can't see out of the master bedroom sliding door. Definitely needs some tlc!! Noise travels through the home when you walk or close the soors.

Great location. Too many spider webs and odd preventable problems.

Although we loved the location and the space in the home, there were dirty underpants in the couch, a tack in the bed sheets, and so many spiders and spider webs. We would have also appreciated a warning that the back door doesn’t lock, and that grass is overgrown into weeds and in a state that is not close to the pictures provided.

Good! Just one weird thing

Overall the house was perfect for us. Really comfortable and a great location. There was a really weird interaction with the host though. They gave us one kitchen garbage bad for four adults for 5 nights. When asked them about it, they said one bag per can was their policy. Just seemed like a weird thing to skimp out on. Other than that, the house was great and we had a really nice time!

Great location, heat stopped working

On our last night the gas heater wouldn't turn on after working fine for the previous few days. It was after hours so I called the main vacasa 1800# who told us space heaters should be in the closets of the downstairs bedrooms. There wasn't any. The heater switch isn't labeled so I wasn't sure if it was left in the on or off position. At 5 AM the gas heater ignited! (it must have been left in the on position). I turned it off. The next day the heater wouldn't turn on again. I called the local office when it opened as this seems like a safety issue and I was told I would get a follow up from the manager. I didn't hear anything back from them at all. There are lots of other things wrong with this house that people have mentioned in other reviews but personally I can overlook the cupboards not closing properly etc for the great location for the few days we were there. But I expect heat to work. And if it doesn't, I expect to get a follow up explaining what occurred and I didn't get that either.

Let’s start with the most positives. The location is excellent & it’s pet friendly. Both very much on the plus side. Overall, the house was adequate for our five-day visit but compared with several other houses we’ve stayed in at Sea Ranch, this one had a few negatives making it not worth the price we paid. Our guess is that this one of the earliest homes at Sea Ranch & very little had been done to upgrade it. This was most obvious in the bathrooms & kitchen which were very dated. In both cases they were undoubtedly original. The tub/showers had none of the safety features one would normally expect—no grab bars, no mat or treading on the tub to keep it slip-proof. In the master bath the faucet sink was so hard to operate it took force to open it. The kitchen has an electric stove. The left rear burner sags badly & will not support a pot. The house has no central heat. There are only two heat sources: a gas stove in the master bedroom downstairs which worked well & a wood-burning stove upstairs in the main room. We would have loved to have a fire upstairs, but while an abundance of large wood pieces was available, there was no kindling. There was one laughable sheet of paper provided next to the firewood. (This failure was probably attributable to the rental service or cleaning crew.) The house is sunny during the day but overall the lighting is not great for curling up with a book. And one gross thing. We went to take place mats out of a cabinet only to find them moldy.

Great location, needs a few fixes

I love the location of the Shell Beach house and the new cabinets in the kitchen are great! The left rear element on the stove was not working. The top tray on the dishwasher kept coming off of the rail so it made it hard to push in and out. It rained on Saturday so the fireplace was wonderful to use! The rain made the back deck very slippery, though. The sliding doors in the master bedroom have broken their seal so they are hard to see out of, it would add a lot to get a new slider to see out. I rented the house for next year before we left and it is going up 38%! Seems a little greedy, Vacasa.

Connect with the ocean

If you can tear yourself away from the view from the window seat, you are only steps away from such a beautiful walk along the bluffs. A great way to start and end the day.
