KIDS ÄLSKAR VÅRT HEM FRÅN CRABBING OCH FISKE I BAKGRUNDET TILL LUFTHOCKEY TABELL LÄS ALLA VÅRA STORA KOMMENTARER !!! Maximalt 6 personer
  Luta dig tillbaka och njut av de vackra solnedgångarna och den fantastiska utsikten över Little Dauphin Island från den täckta bakgatan.
Du kan ta med dina kajaker och starta från baksidan. Också gott om plats för båten. Det finns en offentlig båt lansering closeby på Estuarium. Du kan se båtarna segla förbi, delfinerna simma, fisken hoppar och pelikaner flyga eller gå till vattnet med din fiskestång och fånga den stora !!!

FÖR BIRDERSEN DET ÄR PLATS, PLATS, PLATS !!!
Mars till maj är vårens neo-tropiska migration där fåglar från Central- och Sydamerika slutar för en vila på sin långa resa. Så många som 324 arter har sett på ön.
Det är den perfekta platsen för fågelskådning. Dauphin Island vann Sydamerika Birdiest City Award i den lilla kuststaden kategorin 2006 !!! Gissa vad Dauphin Island vann 2007 också !!!Vårt hem ligger på samma gata som Shell Mound Park och Goat Tree Reserve. Så gå från ditt hem till fågelskådning.

Denna vackert inredda tre sovrum, två badrum hem sover högst sex. Den innehåller en kung, en drottning och två tvillingar. Den öppna planlösningen gör att du kan laga dina måltider i det välutrustade köket medan du tittar på barnen spelar air hockey eller pool !! (Bordet flips för antingen pool eller air hockey).

Vi har ett videobibliotek för de regniga dagarna också böcker för den ivriga läsaren. min mamma älskar att sitta på däck och läsa. Golfbanan ligger i närheten med vacker havsutsikt. En av våra favorit saker att göra är att gå till Skinners och plocka upp några färska räkor till middag. Du kan inte slå färskheten !!!

Ta med cyklarna en kort åktur till de vackra vita sandstränderna. Om du aldrig har upplevt skönheten i Gulf Coast. nu är det dags. Du kan ladda upp bilen för en 2 minuters bilresa till piren och stranden. Vi är ett kvarter från Bienville Blvd. Inte långt från Ship and Shore (den lokala livsmedelsbutiken / hårdvaruaffären), ta tag i ficklampan till skymning och gå crabbing.

Barn älskar spänningen att fånga krabba !!Vår son tillbringade timmar att fånga krabbor i bakgården !! Han fångade faktiskt 20 blå krabbor som vi kokade och åt !! Kom och njut av den lugna ön som bor och stor familjglädje. Vi är på en lugn gata med massor av sångfåglar ...

Du kan nu hyra kajaker levererade till huset och starta direkt från bakgården.
Små välbärgade husdjur tillåts i fall av fall. Rökning förbjuden. EVALUERING AV RÖKNING AV INSÄTTNINGEN SKYLDAS. Veckovis om inte noteras av dagskurs. 50% vid tidpunkten för bokningen återstoden betalas 30 dagar före ankomst.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn't have asked for a better host. They were incredibly understanding and flexible when unexpected hospitalizations required us to change our travel dates, and their kindness meant a lot during a difficult time.The host also kept us informed about a power outage during our stay, and their communication was excellent throughout our stay.The home was clean, comfortable, and very kid-friendly, making it a great place for our family to relax and enjoy our time together. We truly appreciated the host's care and hospitality and would highly recommend this property to other families. We would happily stay here again!

Great place to stay, especially if you are a birder. Located within walking distance of Indian Shell Mound Park and Goat Tree Reserve. Short drive to many other bird sites. The house has a back porch overlooking Dauphin Island Bay - great views in a quiet neighborhood. Very relaxing just to spend an afternoon there looking out on the water. Highly recommended this place.

Nice stay on a calming island

Our family enjoyed the beach house. You can see the water from the house and it is a very short walk to the water. Those house is large with updated bedrooms and bathrooms.

One of our favorite vrbo stays. Kids had fun catching blue crab crab and playing pool. Place was clean and decorated up cute. The deck was set up for comfy relaxing.

Our favorite place on DI

Great, comfortable home over looking Dauphin Island Bay. Well stocked with cooking equipment and kitchen appliances. Very clean home. For birders you are in walking distance to the Shell Mound and Goat Tree sites.

Calm and relaxing

House is perfect for a family. Exactly what is shown and described. Clean quiet relaxing bay in the backyard. Close to everything on the island awesome beaches or stay right there and enjoy the bay. Would come back without any hesitation worth the price, clean, feel at home, and did i mention CLEAN! Thanks highly recommend your place.

Beautiful views

Property was just as the pictures showed. It was clean, bed was very comfortable. There was everything available that we needed. We enjoyed catching crab and putting our kayaks into the bay from the back yard. Very beautiful and relaxing view.

Perfect for our family of 5

The house was perfect for our family. Maureen was very easy to communicate with and a gracious host. We loved swimming and fishing off the back yard. The house was very cozy and had everything we needed. Thanks again.

Had a great time

Really nice place to stay for several days. Had a minor issue but Maureen got it taken care of promptly. King bed was comfortable. No complaints about the others from the kids. Really liked the Forts, ferry, and the USS Alabama. Beaches were nice on both ends of the island. Great view off the porch. Was really nice to sit out there.

Great House and Host!

Maureen is a wonderful host! She was very responsive and she has helpful information about the house and island on the fridge! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed; even a salad spinner!! Having the bay right outside the doorway was very nice and the deck is the perfect spot to watch the sun rise! Definitely recommend!!!

We will be back.

We had a blast. My boys loved the house the most. We needed to come a few weeks later to get in the ocean, but it was perfect to visit all the museums, and garden, aquarium, and so much more. The weather was great to be walking around. The fire place table is the best thing to relax to at night watching the sunset. 10 out of 10.

We will be back!

This was the first time to visit Daulphin Island. I have fallen in love with house and the island. Maureen (the owner) was great. If I had a question she was available and helpful with our stay. Her house is warm and cozy and the view of the bay is to die for. My English bulldog loved it here too. Thanks Maureen we will see you next year!!!

Great relaxing house

We have stayed here several times before and absolutely love the house. We come to Dauphin Island to go birding during spring and/or fall migration. This house is the perfect location as it is in walking distance to two of the best hot spots on the island. And a short drive to several others. The kitchen is well stocked and roomy. The beds comfortable. Since our last visit the stairs leading to the house entrance have been rebuilt and are much easier to use. We will be back.

Attractive, comfortable home in a lovely setting

We were very comfortable in this home. There were very nice touches. Our granddaughters were thrilled with the stuffed animals placed on their beds. The home was so attractively decorated. The water access was nice with benches to watch the sunset. The deck area was very comfortable! The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe there. We were disappointed that the hammock and kayak that were in the picture were not there.

Beautiful view!!

Beautiful home and view. Very well stocked with supplies needed. Although the beds were rough. The best bed in the house is the king. The queen and the twins are very uncomfortable! We left early due to medical issues due to couch sleeping! The island is everything we expected and more!! Thank again for sharing your beautiful home!!

I agree with the last comment. I really wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful. After a busy day it was great to come back and relax on the porch. We did a lot of birding and took some great pictures. When you rent a house, you always worry, but there is no need to worry with Baywatch. It is everything the website says it is.

Great Little Spot

The property was very easy to locate in a quiet area of the island. This was our first time to ever visit the island and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The property was very clean and well kept and felt surprisingly spacious as it utilized the square footage very efficiently. We rate the property very high and will likely stay there again in the future if we can. A few things: bring bug spray, especially if you plan on spending time outside of the house around the property, so many mosquitos. Bring extra laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. There were only 2 packs of powdered laundry detergent, 2 rolls of TP, 1 roll of paper towels and 2 trash bags provided, not quite enough for a 6 person stay. Again, overall we were very happy with our stay and the property.

Tanner I’m sorry there should of been liquid laundry detergent available under the guest bathroom sink as well as lots of trash bags . Just let me know and I could of gotten you more .

My best friend and her husband bought a condo here and we came to visit from San Diego Ca.We fell in love with this quiet little island.There are no crowds no matter when you are here if we were on the beaches in San diego it would be difficult with our 7 yr old because of the amount of people ( wall to wall) and the partying.Plus the water is so warm and calm!! Dauphin Island is like going back in time!! no crowds beautiful white sand beaches!! GREAT FOR FAMILIES!!

We enjoy the beautiful water views and the constant parade of boats.The neighborhood is quiet with lots of birds and close to the major attractions. The birding attractions are on our street!! Which I didn't know untill after we bought it!!We are a short bike ride to Fort Gaines, the Estuarium, We love the air hockey and pool tablmme and the beachy decor!!!It Just feels like home when we come over the Dauphin Island Bridge.
