Välkommen till Bethany Beach, Sea Colony: s bästa resort, Southwinds. Denna privata, avskilda "strandstuga" ligger inbäddat i höga träd och tallar och har härlig trädbevuxen utsikt. Ett charmigt utomhusområde har skapats för dig att njuta av efter en rolig dag på stranden. Detta är det perfekta läget, det är bekvämt för tennisbanor, pooler, lekplatser, fiskdammar, fitnesscentret och säsongens säsong till stranden (om du inte väljer att gå, cykla eller köra).

Våra två sovrum plus loft sover bekvämt nio med en king size-säng i det första sovrummet och en drottning i det andra. Det rymliga loftet har en enkelsäng med trissan och en bäddsäng. Det finns en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet.

Smakfullt inredda tak i katedralen, väggarna i skjutbara glasdörrar och många, många fönster ger ett överflöd av naturligt ljus. Det stora vardagsrummet vetter mot en omhöljd skärmad veranda, alla nya möbler och golv. Det finns ett soligt öppet däck utanför matområdet.

Vårt hem är en perfekt tillflyktsort för varje säsong. Stranden är inte bara för sommaren längre. Perfekt för mors dag, Striper-säsong, golfhelger och se varför Sea Colony är Premier Family Beach och Tennis Community. Min familj bjuder in din familj att slappna av och njuta av en fantastisk semester här!

Som gäst i Sea Colony kan du njuta av vattencentret, gymmet, tenniscentret, lekplatser, vandringsleder och en halv mil bevakad, privat strand. Njut av stranden, stänk i en av de 12 poolerna, spela tennis på en av de 32 tennisbanorna, eller bara koppla av med en cocktail på verandan.

Vi har ett pack and play och barnstol till din lilla. Vi är också nära till två lekplatser. Förutom din veckohyra måste alla gäster på Sea Colony köpa ett rekreationsmärke per person (per vecka) under sommarmånaderna.Alla hyresgäster måste packa sina egna sängkläder och handdukar, linneuthyrning är tillgänglig som ett alternativ. The host was fantastic with communication. The unit was clean and well-stocked. Every room in the unit was comfortable and clean. Beds were great. Kitchen was well stocked. The outdoor patio was dark and we did not sit outside. The unit is a few short steps from the Sea Colony tram and it was easy to get to the beach. It is a short walk to the Market Place for dinner. Ellen is great and it would be super if other hosts could learn from her.

Wonderful cozy Condo in Sea Colony was just what we needed to recharge and get some family time. Eileen was very helpful in rearranging our stay and very accommodating. Highly recommend! Enjoy!

I want to start this review by saying we have vacationed and rented in Sea Colony for over 25 years. We have rented multiple units. This time our stay was highly disappointing due to the poor condition and lack of maintenance throughout the property. The kitchen area was sloppy, unorganized and appeared dirty. Master bedroom mattress was extremely uncomfortable. The decor seemed thrown-together and the toilet bowl was not installed correctly. The doors were also in terrible shape—the screen doors fell right off their hinges when touched, and the sliding doors would not lock at all. Additionally, the outside decks were extremely dirty and looked like they had not been cleaned or maintained in years. While the owner did get back to us in a timely fashion, the uncleanliness was blamed on the renters. We looked at the reviews before hand and trusted them to be accurate. This however is a much more accurate description from experienced renters.

Thank you for your feedback. We take our ratings very seriously and genuinely enjoy sharing our wonderful property with guests. We’re sorry the home did not meet your expectations, though we do want to clarify a few points. Mattress comfort is entirely a personal preference, and we regularly receive comments about how comfortable the master-bedroom mattress is. We make every reasonable effort to maintain and clean the property, but outdoor decks are exposed to weather, sand, pollen, and debris and can become dirty quickly. If you are referring to the kitchen spatula picture you texted me as soon as you arrived, we ask all guests to wash and put away kitchen items responsibly so that the next guests find utensils in the same clean condition. Same goes for your concern for crumbs that had been left in the toaster. I have also asked our cleaners to start double checking. There is a reasonable expectation for a clean, well-maintained vacation home, which we take seriously. We appreciate that you noted our timely communication and will continue to address legitimate maintenance concerns.

Nice short stay

We had a good short stay at this property. It was well stocked and clean. We also liked Sea Colony, not a knock on the owner but wish Sea Colony would charge daily rates for their badges, we had to pay full weeks price for a 2 day stay.

Peaceful Getaway

Our family had a wonderful end-of-summer getaway trip and it was exactly what we needed. Peaceful, quiet, comfortable. The house is close to the tram, which is close to everything! Parking was easy. The screened in porch on rainy nights invited family bonding and togetherness. Ellen was wonderful to connect with and we are thankful for our trip!

My family and I had an amazing time at Sea Colony and will definitely come back. My only complaint is when we entered the property the floors were covered with sand! They were not cleaned at all before we entered. I also thing part of the problem was that the porch was surround by a moat of sand. Other than that the property was great and we enjoyed our stay.

good location. owner helpful main issues were tv did not work initially, dinner table chairs lacked bolts on legs , and 2 collapsed when people sat on them utensils storage area was not cleaned one bed had broken springs just fix these issues and property woulld have good rating

It was our first visit to Sea Colony in 35 years. Sea Colony is a huge development including high rises and townhouse and low rise flat dwellings with beachfront, multiple pools, many tennis courts, etc. Despite its size it is pretty tastefully laid out. People were in beach mode, very nice and laid back. This is a cute 2nd floor flat which is well laid out with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, kitchen, dining and living room areas all on main level, + a loft. Also a screened in porch and small deck. The location is quiet, facing woods and adjacent to a stream, a short walk to the fitness and aquatic centers and a pleasant tram ride or short drive or short bike ride to the beach (there are outdoor faucets/showers at the beach entrances to get sand off, and there are pools right there which could serve the same purpose). Beds and furnishings were comfortable, appliances and plumbing worked well and AC was effective and quiet. Parking was easy. The owner was rapidly responsive to my texts. It got 4 rather than 5 stars because I use an absolute scale... 4 stars is my max for this type of accommodation which is not new (90s?) but is well maintained, without the posh bells and whistles of high end (and high $) new construction. So, "just fine, very good" but not "top of the line." My family (2 kids, parents, 2 grandparents) had a great time.

fell in love with Sea Colony

My husband, two boys and my 70 year old parents stayed for 4 days and it was the best beach resort in the DMV area. It was great for my mom, who's back made it difficult to walk, because the tram drove us anywhere we needed to go, including to the beach. Overall, I can't say enough good things about Sea Colony. There are no pool bars, or bars or restaurants at all in the resort so it doesn't attract young partiers, making it a more family friendly environment. Regarding this unit - it was a great size for the 6 of us. My parents and my husband and I had our own bedrooms and the boys enjoyed having their own space in the loft. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals and it was nice having a washer and dryer in the unit. Overall it was clean and functional for our stay. The only critiques I have are the bugs outside the front door. It is right next to the woods so there are spiders and various bugs, but the cleaners should probably just sweep off around the front door to remove the dead bugs for a better first impression. Also, it was advertised that they provide toilet paper, paper towels, etc. There was one partially used roll of paper towels and each bathroom had the one roll of toilet paper that was on the dispenser. We ended up having to buy both, which we could have brought from home if we knew that we needed to. There were also no extra trash bags. I just recommend bringing your own so you have some back-ups. Not a reason not to stay here.

Everything about our stay at Sea Colony was wonderful- except for the check in at the office. The young man assisting me was not helpful or nice. The 2 people working with him were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful , though.As far as the condo, it was perfect. It was clean, with comfortable beds. Lots of spaces to gather. Porches were nice (loved the sandy touches) with eating and sitting areas. Communication with Ellen, the host, could not have been better.The tram ran frequently and can accommodate lots of veach stuff.If I had any recommendations, it would be better lighting and a new shower curtain in the hall bath.Being boaters, it was fun to read the flags hanging on the wall.I would definitely return here for our yearly girls trip.

Well equipped, the size of the unit was great and the beds were comfortable. The non-screened porch was not used due to furniture conditions and porch grime, the screened in porch as used daily.

Weekend in Bethany

We were very thankful to find this place, as we were only staying for 3 nights. We are used to the ocean side of Sea Colony so this was a little different for us. Ellen was a gracious host and was very clear about what was/was not included with the rental. The area is very quiet and peaceful! It met our expectations and we had a lovely weekend!
